d everyone looked so beautiful. The Blo team enhanced their beauty and made everyone feel so special! They made me feel so special and gave me the look I wanted for my wedding day!
I used blo for my wedding hair needs and they did a great job. All of our hairstyles stayed secure all night even after tearing up the dancefloor. Booking and payment was easy.
I’m so happy with the services that this location of Blo Dry bar provided. They did the hair and makeup for me, my mom, and all my bridesmaids. I’m really grateful to have found th...
is affordable option to have professional hair and makeup on my wedding day.
I truly do not understand how this place got so many good reviews. My guess is that I just happened to have my services done by different people than the other customers. I schedul...
ed a full face makeup and custom updo for my wedding reception dinner. The lady who greeted me at the welcome counter was very nice. I did my hair service first and the stylist that did my hair seemed like this was the last place she wanted to be. I showed her some photos of what I wanted and I do take ownership of the fact that maybe some of the photos were conflicting but I didn’t really see that and I wish she had asked more questions about what I liked in each picture and told me certain things weren’t going to be doable with my hair style. She started working on the hair and let me also say, I’ve never had any stylist pull on my hair as hard as she did. When she started doing the updo, I could tell it wasn’t exactly what I wanted so I spoke up and she did restart the process when we realized it wasn’t exactly what I wanted. After we did it the second time, I asked about some framing pieces around my face and showed her the picture I had referenced since the beginning and she quite rudely pointed out that my hair wouldn’t be able to do that which is fine except for the fact that I wish she had informed me of that in the beginning instead of making it seem like I was wasting her time by asking questions. I truly felt so defeated because I didn’t want to ask any more questions based on her attitude and just told her it looked fine and moved on. Then I had my makeup appointment and it started out much better. The stylist took her time and asked me a lot of questions which I thought was great. When she started working on my eye makeup and applying my false lashes, that’s when things went south. It took her many attempts to get one lash on and every time she took it off to reposition, it left the residue of the tinted glue on my eye which then resulted in her having to use a wet q-tip to wipe it off and some of my eyeshadow with it. This was done so many times that my eyeshadow was pretty messed up. By the time she got the second lash on, I pointed out how lopsided it was from the other lash and she said it looked the way it was supposed to. I finally left and once I got in my car, I realized the lashes were so far off my lash line and there were so many speckles of the eyeshadow around my inner eye and under my eye that she hadn’t cleaned up. I also realized later when I looked in a mirror that my foundation color was off. I ended up taking everything off and redid my makeup. I will say the stylist who did my makeup was very sweet but her work was quite poor. I hope that this was just an off day for these stylists but I would not go back to them based on my experience.
Blo Blow Dry Bar was nothing short of phenomenal! I contacted them with less than two months before my wedding after another makeup/hair team backed out. Every single interaction I...
had with Blo Blow Dry team members are uplifting, welcoming, and reassuring.
Brittany's talent with hair styling skills were amazing! She listened to what I wanted, and I fully trusted her stylistic opinions and talents. My hair is often unable to hold a curl, but with the extensions and Brittany's tools, it looked as good at 9pm that night as it did at 12pm when she finished styling it.
Laura is also truly an artist. She was so particular and attentive to each detail. Like Brittany, Laura listened to what I wanted, and I was really comfortable giving her creative license to do what she thought would look good with my wedding dress and flowers. My makeup stayed on my face, lashes did not shift, and I didn't even need to touch anything up.
Hunter at the front desk is also such a ray of sunshine! He was so kind and reassuring with each interaction.
I truly felt like the stylists and staff at Blo Blow Dry Bar cared about me and wanted to make sure my day was as smooth as possible - they definitely have me as a customer in the future, and I'll be more than happy to sing their praises to whomever will listen!

makeup artists and they were all great. Some of us had updos , others had braids, and they really nailed all the styles. I wanted a natural look for makeup and they made us all look beautiful without looking like we were wearing a lot of makeup. I couldn't have been happier with the experience. They were all so sweet and calm and helped me not get too nervous. They traveled to our venue in Gastonia and it was so nice having them there rather than try to get everyone to the salon that morning. Highly recommend!

res all turned out looking incredible. I want to shout it from the rooftop that SH Baldwin absolutely nailed my bridal look as well as my blowout for the rehearsal the night before - she is the best!!! The owner of the salon is a highly professional and reputable business owner; she was out of town during our wedding weekend and the manager made some mistakes with our invoice, but before I even had a chance to collect the information and contact her to address it, she called me first and handled it right away! I highly recommend Blo salon!
Living in the mountains I was very limited on hair/make up artists. I decided to branch out further and found Blo Blow Dry Bar on The Knot. I’m so happy I decided to go with them! ...
Everything from start to finish was absolutely perfect! Jo (owner) was very accommodating, reasonable and helpful during the whole process. Anna and Amanda are the two wonderful people who did our make up and hair. They provided top notch service, were professional, were fun and nailed the looks of my bridesmaids and myself (the bride). I couldn’t have asked for anything more!! I was beyond happy. They made us all feel beautiful. I couldn’t imagine my day without them. I hope they know how truly grateful I am for all they did. You ladies rock!!!!!!!
Brides (or anyone looking for an exceptional beauty experience): look no further than Blo Charlotte. A good friend of mine recommended Jo and her staff, and I used them for my Dec...
ember 11th wedding. We chose in-bar service although they do offer on location too, but that was a bit over my budget. Great communication. Amanda, my stylist, was fabulous through both an initial and a follow-up hair and makeup trial, despite my indecision and picky nature! On the day of the wedding, Amanda, Anna, SH, and Brittany were all amazing and took such good care of me and my family and bridesmaids. Hair and make up on point. I asked to look like me but more beautiful (!) and they got it just right. Make up was subtle but gorgeous. Definitely hire them for your special occasion!
Amanda Pautz is a hair WIZARD! She made me feel like the most beautiful bride and I'm so thankful! <3

a little longer to do my MOH hair, but it looked great when they were done. I liked that they took time to get it right. Parking in front isn't good but there's a side parking lot that is much easier to get in and out of. The mimosas were a plus! Overall: highly recommend.

Hair and makeup for me and my bridesmaids. Very satisfied with results. Loved that we could all get styled at same time. Made the start of the day really fun! 5 stars!
My hair looked beautiful and the updo stayed all night. My bridesmaids were happy too. Highly recommend.

Blo was great! Booked last minute after a terrible trial with the hair stylist I had originally planned to use. Jo was so easy to work with. Me and my bridesmaids all got our hair ...

that is friendly, professional and excellent at what they do. Luckily I came across "Blo" and I knew that it was the one. Let me tell you, they did an AMAZING job! There were able to style a large bridal party all at one time. Each hairstyle looked really great and all my friends loved them. And the best part was that the prices were super reasonable! My friend is getting married next year so I have even recommended this salon to her as well!
I would definitely recommend this salon to every bride out there. 5 star rating without a doubt!
Staff was helpful for a very indecisive bride to be! Great prompt service and my hair looked beautiful for my bridal portraits! Not to mention the mimosas were delicious.

ing was on Sunday, May 8th and blo bar was open which was great because it's hard to find salons open on Sunday's! On my wedding day, employees made the environment fun with music and mimosas! They had my bridal party's hair done in about an hour! (Party of 5 plus my mother) They took a little extra time on my hair since it was my day! I was so happy with the results! I loved my hair in my bridal portraits and on wedding day! My bridesmaids
Loved their hair too! I recommend blo blow bar charlotte for any bride to be wanting their hair to look amazing on wedding day!

Of course between all the running around and the breeze by the time we were getting into our dresses my hair looked like a birds nest. at it was only for the younger woman but plucked up my courage and made an appointment anyway. The staff were amazing, warm and friendly but also extremely professional and knowledgable. Nothing was too much trouble. They coordinated our five appointments with individual stylists so we could arrive and leave together and welcomed us with a glass of champagne that made the start of my wedding day relaxed and even more special. I had a trial session the week before and the same stylist attended to me on the big day! My hair looked amazing, and it lasted all day. I have never had so many compliments. BLO blow dry bar you have a new dedicated customer who cannot sing your praises loudly enough.

ook good. They were so attentive and understanding (I kept asking a ton of questions that I was even annoying myself!) But they never were irritated with any of it and went above and beyond to take the time to explain everything to me and make sure I was comfortable. I absolutely LOVED my hair the day of my wedding. On top of that they taught me a ton about doing my hair and gave me some tips and tricks to dress up my ponytail and made sure I could do it myself! They were such an amazing group of ladies...thanks for making me feel like a beautiful "girly girl" on my big day!!!

and loved my hair the night of the bachelorette so made an appointment for a hair and makeup consult for my wedding.
Stephanie was my stylist. During the consult she took plenty of time, looked at the pictures I'd brought in and we tried a couple of styles until I found the one that worked best. I never felt hurried, and it was really fun. She took lots of photos so I could really see how the updo worked. Shea did my makeup. She took time to really listen to what I wanted and it looked natural but better than natural, if you know what I mean.
I decided to have Blo do my hair/makeup as well as hair for my 8 bridesmaids, Mom, Mother-in-law, and my 8 yr old niece (flower girl).
The day of my wedding we all arrived at 10am. They were so sweet and welcoming. We all had mimosas and got started. Just one hour later EVERYONE was done! They had 12 stylists working on us, and it felt like a fun party. Some of my bridesmaids chose loose curls, and a couple had their hair up in a bun. They all looked great. My mom and I both had our makeup done, and Shea did a great job with my mom too. She was so happy she decided to get hers done too. It was a great, fun way to start the day and our hair looked great all day long. Highly recommend!

It was such a fun way to start off the best day of my life with girlfriends and mimosas of course!
