It feels romantic, intimate and completely tucked away, and having so many different spaces throughout the property made the entire weekend feel like an experience rather than just one wedding day. Being able to stay at the farmhouse and spend that extra time on the property with our closest family and friends was one of our favorite parts. The entire Blenheim team was incredible. There are so many moving pieces that go into a wedding, and by the time the weekend arrived, we genuinely felt like we could hand everything over to them and just enjoy ourselves. Everything flowed so seamlessly, and we felt completely taken care of from beginning to end. Our guests noticed it too - we received so many compliments about how beautiful everything was and how attentive and wonderful the staff were. And the FOOD! We knew going into the wedding that food was one of Blenheim’s strengths, but it somehow managed to be even better on the actual wedding day. Everything felt thoughtful, seasonal and special, and we are still hearing from guests about how much they loved it. What we appreciated most about Blenheim is that it never felt like a cookie-cutter wedding venue. The property has so much character and natural beauty, and we were able to create a weekend that genuinely felt like us. Looking back, there really isn’t another place we can imagine having gotten married. Our wedding at Blenheim was everything we hoped it would be - beautiful, relaxed, personal, incredibly fun and filled with the people we love. We would choose Blenheim all over again in a heartbeat and are so grateful to everyone there for giving us a weekend we will never forget.

he chicken was over cooked and potato’s were underwhelming. As other reviews have stated the extras that you have to pay for are a little ridiculous. They tell you it’s all inclusive and can be customized to everything you want but once you start planning and have meetings this is not the case. Everything has to be done their way. We were told one thing by one of the owners and then when reaching out to their team we were told that’s not possible and they even said the owner never said that. Then they finally agreed to what we wanted once I showed them proof that it was said by the owner. The day of coordinators were absolutely amazing and made sure everything was perfect and on time. The servers and bar tenders were also amazing. The day turned out great it was just a hassle with the back and forth during the planning. Just be careful when discussing different options and always write it down. The final price of everything was double the starting amount because of all the things that you have to add on. All inclusive means bear minimum.

some. Having over 12 years of wedding planning experience, Min and Morten offered us assurance that our wedding day would be executed beautifully- and it was. The Blenheim family were incredibly detail-oriented, clear, and responsive during the planning process. They guided us through multiple virtual meetings, providing extensive planning documents to ensure our day would run smoothly. As a person that doesn't love planning, they supported me and offered suggestions- making sure that the day would flow effortlessly. Their natural, open, and beautifully rustic venue was the ideal location for our special celebration; the venue itself reflected us as a couple and we have not stopped receiving compliments on the venue and the attentive and personable staff at Blenheim. The food was absolutely delicious - our guests raved about the amazing appetizers during cocktail hour. We had many last-minute changes and the Blenheim team did not miss a beat in executing our every wish. We are so grateful to have found Blenheim Hill Farm and we cannot thank them enough for making our wedding day perfect in every way!

But, BE AWARE - although Blenheim Hill Farm described its wedding package as all inclusive, declared itself transparent and responsive and called its cuisine Michelin quality, we experienced none of that. The venue underperformed. In contract discussions, Blenheim Hill Farm sold us the glamorous farm and the food/service quality. We contracted for a weekend. Friday, an intimate rehearsal dinner, Saturday, an outdoor wedding and a cocktail service in a beautiful covered pavilion both by the pond and followed by a fancy barn reception dinner, Sunday, an outdoor brunch. The pictures were so lovely! Friday at the actual rehearsal dinner, we were routed to steam trays in a hallway under the main barn and we carried our cafeteria food on trays to the cafeteria style tables. Saturday of the wedding, the wedding itself was pretty, like the pictures, but our cocktails were served in an uncovered outdoor patio with inadequate heating and a view of the barn’s outside wall. The reception dinner was served in the very pretty barn but a large number of our guests received overcooked, barely warm food on cold plates. On a gorgeous Sunday, the brunch was served indoors on the same cafeteria tables from the same hallway steam tables. The pricing of these meals, including the 20% admin fee that the venue added to everything: Rehearsal dinner $82.80/pp, Gold Reception Dinner $124.80/pp, Brunch $54/pp. The wedding day alcohol was $69.60/pp for the modest Silver Bar package so our Reception dinner and drink cost $194.40/pp. At the food tasting to select our reception meal (2 months before the wedding) the only entrees offered were chicken or salmon. Beef was available as an expensive upgrade. Blenheim Hill Farm contracted to provide transportation services, and six months later cancelled it. We had to scramble and pay 2.5 times as much to replace the service since many vendors were booked by the date BHF cancelled. Our Blenheim Hill Jefferson rental house, had electronic coded locks on the exterior and guest room doors. Blenheim Hill Farm provided us with a list of lock codes but, after our arrival/check in and without notice to us, changed the codes. Later that day, without notice, they turned off all the door codes and left us with unlocked and unlockable doors for our entire 3 days and 2 nights stay. The prorated room rate for two nights was $514.50 and included no service, no lockable doors including while we slept, small annoyances-no closets, no cellphone coverage in the town, no kitchen knives/cutting boards, closed stairways, junk furniture on the porch... Blenheim Hill Farm did not respond timely or sometimes ever to our emails. They sent us dunning notices for timely payments. They over billed us once, they calculated their 20% admin fee incorrectly to their advantage once, they converted a payment we made in error to a different item without permission. Blenheim Hill Farm’s “all inclusive” contract did not include the items that we had to ordered on their “Roadmap”, a payment portal which lists the extra items. Blenheim Hill Farm did not permit us to see the “Roadmap” until they had a signed contract and payment. Adding coffee and tea after dinner and lime and lemon slices for cocktails increased our reception dinner price to $205.70/pp.

aff. Having our rehearsal dinner, ceremony, reception, and housing for the wedding party all in one location made the whole weekend magical. We were able to spend our time enjoying the company of our family and friends and focusing on our special day rather than dealing with the logistics of transportation between different venues. Every guest we had was extremely complimentary of the whole day and all of the details. Folks who flew in from Kentucky and California or drove from Boston immediately came to us saying, “We absolutely understand why you asked us to travel here it’s perfect” and “Thank you for having your wedding here, I never would have discovered this area of the country”. Looking back our wedding weekend was everything we wanted. While there were a few small things that happened unexpectedly, they were quickly responded to by the staff. We wouldn’t have done anything differently if we were to do it all over again. Truly, we are crossing our fingers that we will be invited to a wedding at Blenheim so we have a reason to go back.

On Friday night it rained and the venue did a great job pivoting to the indoor option for the welcome event. We still had a fantastic night on Friday. Staying at the venue in the farmhouse made everything so seamless for us and our wedding party. We also rented the Virginia Queen in town from Blenheim which was a seamless process. The food was amazing for each event - welcome event, cocktail hour, wedding dinner, brunch on Sunday and lunch getting ready on Saturday. The food was better than most weddings we have been to and our family and friends have been commenting on it after the wedding! The management at Blenheim were also fantastic. They are super organized and were great along the way and super attentive the day of the wedding. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better team to work with or better venue.

We really appreciated having all of our events onsite, including the ability to house some of our guests onsite! I'd say the only small challenge was transportation and housing for all of our guests because there aren't many large inns nearby, but in the end it all worked out with guests staying mostly in Jefferson and nearby Airbnbs. Their commitment to excellence and ability to create a magical atmosphere made our wedding day truly unforgettable!

They think of everything from the little details to the big decisions so you should feel well prepared. Our guests could not stop raving about how beautiful the venue is, how professional and helpful the staff are and how delicious their food is. HIGHLY recommend!

planning our wedding and having it there, we were left extremely frustrated and disappointed. - First, the pricing was advertised in a way to draw you in - however every little thing is an "upgrade". And expect to pay a 20% admin fee on everything. And no, this does not include gratuity. That is an entirely separate fee - one that they have an entire page on the couple's portal about - and that they will mention at any given chance is not included. They expect 5-10% of your total spend in gratuity. So at minimum, expect to pay 25-30% on top of their listed prices. And don't expect them to concede on prices for anything. We asked what the difference would be if we skipped the appetizer at dinner and their response was that it would not correlate to any savings for us. Really? Not serving a course to 132 people doesn't save you any money? For our 132 guest wedding and 90 guest rehearsal event, we ended up around $50k for venue spend alone (outside vendors separate). - Friday afternoon we showed up to the shock that they had gotten rid of the cocktail hour tent (clear topped tent, right outside reception barn doors) and moved the even to the other side of the barn without telling us. We had spent 2 years planning this and had car loads full of decor and were hit with this when we showed up. To make it worse - there was no apology. Min, one of the owners, instead tried to spin it on us and say they had "invested in the new space" and that other guests had liked it. She even said "well you toured in winter" - in fact, we had been on site 5 weeks prior for our tasting and still no one told us. We were appalled at how she responded their huge mistake. It left us in shock and frustrated just 2 hours before our entire wedding weekend was due to start. - Their communication and planning form system was extremely burdensome. When we first met they sold it to us as if we did not need a wedding planner because they have a "wedding roadmap" that walks you through everything. This is not accurate. What they have is a website and then a set of 10+ forms that take an incredible amount of time to complete. They ask you to outline the entire weekend essentially minute to minute. We also didn't get access to these forms until a month prior to our wedding. Very stressful and not helpful to us at all. - Min, one of the owners, was miserable to work with. She made us feel like we were being cheap every step of the way. Made us feel bad and told us "communication would be difficult" because we did not want to rent out the on site farmhouse. Every question we asked, made us feel we were trying to burden her staff. She really needs to work on her communication skills. Morten, her husband, is much more professional. - The pros: Maria, our day of coordinator, spent the entire day and reception trying to make up for the huge mistake about the change of cocktail hour location and poor communication from upper management. It did not go unnoticed - we can't thank her enough for her efforts. The servers, bar staff, were all wonderful. The food was delicious and the venue setting is breathtaking. We ended up having a wonderful, fun wedding. It's unfortunate that the negatives so strongly outweighed the positives.

ey took care of so many elements in house: the catering, the drinks, lodging on site. They provide excellent recommendations for florists, music, and hair/makeup as well. We did have a coordinator, but she made a point to emphasize how organized and on top of it Blenheim was throughout the process and the event management on the day from Blenheim was spectacular (shoutout to Alison!). My partner and I always felt like our questions were met with enthusiasm and everyone worked to make the day the best it could be. The food and drinks were excellent. The venue was gorgeous. We highly recommend booking the farmhouse for the wedding party. It was convenient and fun to have your home base on site for the weekend. Planning a wedding is such a stressful event and we were so glad that we chose a venue that worked so hard to make everything as stress-free as possible. On top of it all, everyone was so nice! Figuring out lodging is a slightly more complicated component, but ultimately having the wedding be a weekend event out of the city made it that much more special. There are tons of airbnbs in the area that cater to the wedding crowd. People hiked, explored nearby towns, and got a taste of the Catskills. Cannot recommend Blenheim enough!

We picked the platinum food package and our guests loved everything from the rehearsal dinner (I’m still dreaming about the feta watermelon salad) to the mushroom risotto. The drinks and afterparty snacks were delicious! Thank you Rebecca, Maria, Morton and Min for supporting us through the wedding planning journey and bringing our dream to life! yes. The views at peak time in the fall are breathe taking. The photo opportunities are plentiful to get amazing shots with a lot of different backgrounds. The staff at Seven Ponds go out of their way to meet your every need, and are on top of everything. Lisa, Cassie and Maria were amazing to work with– literally brought my vision to life for our wedding. They take the time to make sure everything is perfect and reinforce that things will run smoothly. The farm house adds a lot of character and Lisa and Cassie made us and our whole crew feel very welcome from the start. The barn is rustic, yet elegant and provided a beautiful place for our reception. The food and flavors that were incorporated for our rehearsal dinner and the wedding is something you experience at a high end restaurant. Our guests still talk about how delicious the meal was and ask how we found this spectacular venue as it is like nothing they have ever experienced before. We wanted a weekend wedding in an intimate setting with family and close friends, Seven Ponds made this dynamic absolutely everything we could have dreamed of and more. We plan to visit next year on our 1 year anniversary! We highly recommend this venue to anyone who is engaged and looking for a remarkable and unforgettable wedding.

After nonstop of searching for a new venue for 14 days straight, we were bless to find the seven ponds. After contacting them, everything from there went so smoothly. They were so helpful in every way possible because of how little time we had left until the wedding. From the moment we contacted them to the wedding day, everything was perfect and they were so accommodating! In our opinion, the seven ponds beats any ballroom venue around the country because of how magical their property is. The seven ponds is so beautiful, relaxing, and amazing! They were at our disposal every second of the day. My wife and I are nothing but thankful, grateful, and bless to have our dream wedding at seven ponds because it was definitely a memorable moment we will never forget! reds, oranges, and yellows of the trees by the lake. the farm is truly perfection in the fall, and an absolutely gorgeous place to get married. maria and rebecca and the whole staff on site were truly a dream all week long. we stayed in the farmhouse starting on the wednesday before the wedding until the monday after, and we really started to feel like a little family. both maria and rebecca were so amazing to work with and made us feel at ease throughout the week, despite feeling like things were kind of falling apart (DJ got COVID, brother, sister and nephews got the flu, horrible downpour the thursday before the wedding that threatened to loom into the weekend). they're both so warm and inviting, and made it really easy for us to contact them with any questions throughout the weekend. everyone working the rehearsal and the wedding wedding itself was so friendly and warm-- special shout out to grace for making sure we had the canapes at our table when we didn't get a chance to enjoy our cocktail hour like we planned and the desserts when we didn't want to get off the dance floor to cut our cake. there were so many deeply touching moments like this throughout the weekend-- a few that really stand out: when i was feeling a bit too nervous at the rehearsal dinner so i didn't eat as much as i should have, so rebecca made me a little to go bag of tacos that she DELIVERED to the farmhouse like the truly angle she is; grace taking the instax camera around the party later in the night to take pictures of guests to put in the guest book for us when they forgot about the book (which was truly such a perfect thing to look through the next day); literally the whole staff checking in with bryan and i all night long to make sure we were properly fed, that we had drinks, that we were feeling happy and having fun; ben putting up with our rather inebriated guests for the shuttle until 3a, even when they didn't want to leave on that last trip. when our car wouldn't start when we were leaving, rebecca came right over with ben to give us a jump and hangout with us a while and let us hangout in the house even though it was well past checkout. one note: i will say that there were a few financial things that were frustrating to deal with prior to the wedding-- we had signed out contract in nov. 2020 but there were changes in policy and costs that we had not been aware of, some of which were more than double what we had contracted. we did feel like a lot of the time we kept trying to be upsold, despite having already spent a considerable amount of money-- and when declining certain aspects, were met with some resistance, or so it was perceived that way by us. nonetheless, these really did not diminish our view of the venue which is why it's still a 5 star from us-- i honestly cannot say enough good things about maria and rebecca and the on-site team. if i could afford another wedding, i would divorce husband just to remarry him at blenheim. thank you so much maria, rebecca, and the whole crew. we miss you guys! <3

r requests. The wedding was a dream come true. They are experts in hospitality and party/wedding planning. Aside from the wonderful staff the venue is gorgeous in all of the seasons. They make wedding planning a dream, especially because they offer so many services so you do not need to outsource as many vendors as other venues would require you to. They are prepared for everything and anything, even one of the few venues that has a tent on standby in case of rain (most venues leave that up to the couple to rent). The food and signature cocktails were AMAZING. The short rib was out of this world (I’m not a big red meat eater). The canapés were delicious. They were so incredibly attentive , caring and genuinely excited for the bride and groom. They have a house on-site to rent which was incredibly helpful for the bridal party. We rented local air bnbs down the road (10 min away) and the rest were bigger hotels in Windham. I cannot praise the Blenheim team enough, truly. As a laid back bride but yet extremely picky, the team made everything a dream, and helped direct me on decisions I was unsure of. They took care of our immediate family with just as much importance as the Bride and Groom. Our parents were SO impressed. They also don’t have a curfew, which was amazing as some venues do. Hands down, the best night of my life so far. I cannot thank them enough, they felt like family.

They did an incredible job of balancing differing expectations between family members, communicating thoroughly, and remaining a calming and encouraging presence throughout the whole process. Blenheim is also just a spectacular place to get married! My husband grew up on a farm and loves to fish, while I love camping and hiking. The fact that we got to get married on a charming farm near our hometowns while taking breaks to fish and hike throughout the weekend was the perfect cherry on top of everything. The property is beautiful! Whether you want photos by a dreamy pond or moody photos by a graveyard or ethereal photos in the woods (all options on their property) you will not be disappointed. Not to mention, their food is fantastic. Like out of this world fantastic! I myself have celiac disease and they were so accommodating and thorough in making sure I always had enough to eat and that my family members with dietary restrictions were also taken care of. I never felt like I was missing out on anything. Everything was so delicious! We did a brunch on their property the day after the wedding too and my guests are still raving about that brunch haha. I could not recommend Blenheim Hill Farm enough as the perfect place to get married. Min, Morten, Rebecca, Maria and the rest of the team are all lovely to deal with. And if that’s not enough, you can hang with the cute animals too while you’re there!

rally truly PERFECT! The team at Blenheim are super-pros at managing events so the first thing to know is that every single detail of your event will be well planned out and we’ll managed. They leave no stone unturned so that your day just flows seamlessly and feels very magical. The grounds, the barns, the pond, the outdoor spaces and the arch where the ceremony takes place are all stunning and very well kept. The food is both beautiful to look at and delicious! Everything was very fresh as it’s locally grown. We really enjoyed having the farmhouse to stay in and the ladies lounge for hair and makeup on the day of the event. I think the most important part of the day was the fact that Maria and the other staff genuinely cared about us and that our day go seamlessly, so in addition to doing a great job with the flow of events and exceptional service, they were also on point with little details of care needed for our family. This made the day even better. I have an elderly mother who needed extra support and the team ensured her care. I had a friend who needed to bring a support dog and she was welcomed with open arms. All of our guests were treated like VIPs and they are still raving about the day. We are so grateful we chose Blenheim for our wedding and can’t say enough good about the top notch quality of every aspect of the event! Maria was a such a help from making sure all of our documents were correct and that all of our questions about the venue were answered in a timely manner. Our Day of Coordinators were amazing both Lisa and Cassey made sure every single aspect of the day from getting our bridal party down the aisle to working with us with the vendors. The whole Day was so smooth and stress free. The food selection was perfect and everyone raved about the menu and dessert. I could have not picked such a perfect and magical places to get married to my best friend. We had to move our wedding date three times due to COVID and everyone we worked with at Blenheim was so understanding and flexible in helping us reschedule and make sure that when we ultimately had our wedding, it would be just as special as we originally imagined.

nd gave me and my wife everything we needed. They over delivered on all areas, from the amazing food which guests still talk about to each small detail. We couldn't have imagined getting married anywhere else!!

it was the best wedding food they had ever tasted! And the venue itself is beautiful -- a lot of hard work has gone into making it beautiful and I had a lot of feedback from guests about how much they loved the property. Unfortunately, that does not make up for the stress of dealing with this venue. They are inflexible and were downright unpleasant to work with. Here's the short list: - They forgot to make and serve the dessert we paid for (flourless chocolate cake) - they refused to accommodate a half hour change in ceremony start time and couldn't really give us an explanation why - They promised to bring us appetizers from the cocktail hour directly to us after the ceremony, but we never got it. So we did not get to eat any of the appetizers that were served to our guests. We heard from our guests it was delicious. - The venue coordinator came to me the day before the wedding requesting that I provide her "clarification" on the seating chart and meals for guests. Not sure why she was bothering me the day before the wedding for items I had been trying to address with her for months. - Despite paying thousands of dollars in cleaning fees there was mouse feces in the bathroom. - I got a nasty text message from the venue coordinator the day after the wedding telling me I had ruined her Memorial Day vacation because I did not inform her in time about a late checkout. She was notified but still insisted on bringing over a cleaning crew. - The venue disliked my wedding planner, and claimed she was rude and insulting to the guests and staff. That's not really their place to make judgment on my vendors which I found pretty incredible. None of my guests had an issue with her--in fact, I heard from multiple people she did a great job at running wedding efficiently and honestly it would have been absolute chaos without her there. All in all, would I get married here again? The answer is NO WAY. There are a surplus of beautiful barn venues in upstate New York where you can have a very nice wedding. Don't think you are going to save any money -- their payment structure is deceiving, with add ons, additional charges, etc etc. And on top of that, the location is a pain in the butt. Logistically, many guests had issues getting to the venue and/or finding lodging. And don't be fooled by the good reviews-- I was. I happen to know a bride who got married here who had a similar experience and many negative reviews have seemed to have vanished from this site... I really, really don't want another bride going through what I went through. So please, go pick another venue!!

Maria and Rebecca went above and beyond to ensure we had everything planned out and everything we needed, we cannot praise their level of service and care enough! They are also dog friendly, which was perfect for us since we wanted our dog, Leia, to be part of the ceremony. She was able to freely roam the grounds and enjoy the coziness of the Farmhouse all weekend. We brought in our own favors, cake, signage, candles, etc., and their team assisted us every step of the way to make sure things were laid out exactly how we imagined. Our guests were raving about the location, the service, the flow, and – unsurprisingly, if you’ve read the other reviews – the food. It could not have been a more perfect day, and we cannot thank their Blenheim team enough! The grounds were renovated in early/mid 2022, and are stunning. Pavers leading from the Farmhouse to the ceremony site, pavers leading to cocktail hour, and a new propane fire pit outside of the Brewery Barn. They have also added wall-mounted AC units in the reception barn, in case you are worried about the summer heat. The Farmhouse is kept nice and cool as well, as there is a large AC unit in the living room, plus additional wall-mounted AC units. All-in-all, we are exceedingly pleased with Blenheim and their team. From the moment we arrived on Thursday, up until our departure on Sunday, everything was perfect!
