Bijou Weddings by Design

ur wedding that we could have made! Julia not only created a beautiful design and theme for the wedding, but also took all the heavy lifting of wedding project management off our plate, which was such a gift for my wedding stress! She expertly guided us to make the best decisions for vendors and major decisions, and always gave us her honest, sound advice. She was always looking out for our best interest and she took such care to make sure we had the best team of vendors for our day. Julia's eye for design is truly impeccable and she worked with us closely to ensure our team vision for the day was brought to life. When I stepped foot into our reception space I actually gasped!! She brought our dream wedding to life. I can't recommend Julia enough! If you're on the fence about whether to get a planner - do it! Julia will be a godsend for your wedding!

seeing what she is capable of, I should have let her have the reigns from the start. She is well worth every dollar!! 6 years ago, I had used a highly recommended planner for my oldest daughter’s wedding and was extremely disappointed. Because of this, when my youngest daughter became engaged, I was hesitant to hire a wedding planner again, but knew I needed help. After much research and talking with more than a few planners, I decided upon Julia, and she literally saved my daughter’s wedding from complete disaster. To elaborate, the photographer I hired went into early labor the morning of the wedding and phoned Julia at 4:30am to tell her that she did not have a backup plan for this situation and no-one would be there to photograph one of the most important days of my daughter's life. Julia began e-mailing and reaching out to over 150 photographers in the area. Because Bozeman has become a very popular destination wedding location, she literally was taking on an impossible task. Julia was able to secure a sweet photographer to fill in and thankfully the day was able to be documented. If I had not had Julia, we would have gone without a photographer, and it would have sent the day into a spiraling disaster. Julia’s calm demeaner helped my daughter and I immensely. She stayed on top of every detail and her communication prior to the wedding was top notch! I truly cannot say enough good things about this sweet, kind, and hardworking woman. I will forever be grateful to her for saving the day!! Hands down the best wedding investment you can make!

k, was always available whenever I needed to chat through something live and connect med us with the best vendors. We had zero issues the wedding weekend and that was thanks to Julia and her team!

lp ease the stresses of planning our wedding. I had never officially met her in person until our actual wedding week. However, after communicating with her for the year prior, I felt I had known her for years. She is so personable! During the day of our wedding Julia organized everything with grace, kindness, and a sense of calm that put all my stresses aside. All of our wedding guests and family members raved about how warm and helpful she was. I feel so lucky to have had Julia by our side through the planning process. She took all of our ideas, decorations, and visions to create the most beautiful setting. On top of that she managed the wedding day schedule, our vendors, and kept our huge wedding party in check throughout the day. Everything went off without a hitch and we could not have done it without her! Thank you Julia, you truly are the best!

but Julia was so patient and understanding. I was blown away by the final product, she is VERY talented!! I loved my bouquet and the boutonniere she made for the groom. Everything was perfect.

She is organized, communicative, and timely, and she thinks of every possible issue before it arises to prevent any problems. We can honestly say that we had so much fun at our wedding, and enjoyed every minute, and it was all thanks to Julia and the Bijou crew. Our wedding exceeded our expectations in every way! We would hire her again in a second, and as a bonus, I feel like I made a friend in the process! I cannot recommend her enough.

best part was she was instantly responsive -- which you'll find many other vendors in Bozeman can take a week + to get back to you, which is super frustrating. Julia responds within hours, sometimes minutes of an email or text! Seriously so helpful! She also just has a very calming presence and attitude. I wouldn't say I was super stressed out because I plan for a living, but because we got married during COVID, there were so many unknown challenges that even someone like myself couldn't foresee. So it was just so great to be able to bounce a thought or idea off her and she would calm any unease I had. I think the shining example of how amazing she is, though, is that we found out the Tuesday before our wedding that our caterer and 3/4ths of his staff contracted COVID at a previous event... I called her right away and within 30 mins she had a potential caterer lined up who was available. Our original caterer was supposed to do both our welcome party and wedding. We ended up going with a friend of my husband's who owns a restaurant in town for our wedding, but we did go with the caterer Julia found for our welcome party and they were absolutely fantastic! I could not have been more grateful for her help!! On the day of, everything went so smoothly! She and her team were super on top of it and they even jumped in to help serve guests at the buffet because our caterer was short staffed and we didn't want people to serve their own food to minimize touching of serving spoons. Really above and beyond! I truly cannot say enough great things about Julia! I would HIGHLY recommend her to coordinate your wedding. She really saved our wedding!!
