About this vendor
Big Kitchen Papers is a wedding stationery company based in Wheat Ridge, CO. Owner Chris Shanley used to meet clients around her kitchen table. Today, more than 20 years later, she still feels that the kitchen is where most great conversations begin.
Chris believes that invitations should feel personal. They are, after all, messages from the heart; they communicate a person's wish for their family and friends to join them on one of the most important days of their life. Your wedding and the love that it celebrates deserve better than generic stationery. Chris wants to create custom invitations that reflect who you are and speak to your unique style and story.
Chris knows that all you need is love, but she would argue that quality invitations are also worth singing about. Big Kitchen Papers offers invitations of all kinds, personalized stationery, watercolors and drawings, and calligraphy services. Whether you're looking for programs or place cards, printing or engraving, Chris would love to do her part to help make your wedding unique and unforgettable.

Chris was such a delight! She built a beautiful semi custom wedding suite for my client that was affordable but looked so premium and elegant. She went the extra mile, designing cu...
stomized elements, meeting with us multiple times, and adding special touches.
She was so great to work with. She was prompt, professional, positive, and welcoming. She immediately put my clients at ease and worked through all the details beautifully.
I will absolutely be bringing her more clients!
Chris did all my wedding day of stationary. I only had a rough idea of what I was wanting and the first thing she mocked up I loved. She did our wedding program, which is one of my...
favorite pieces still to this day. We had a greek orthodox wedding so the program is quite robust. She designed a traditional, yet contemporary piece. The paper choice along with the blind emboss that she went with was what truly made the piece stand out. These are little details Chris knows how to execute. It was exactly the look I wanted. She also designed all our reception stationary and did the calligraphy for: Table names, name settings, menus, etc. She made each piece tie together beautifully and helped get everything to the day of planner to get it set in the right places. I’ve also worked with her on personal stationary that I love. I highly highly recommend Big Kitchen Papers for wedding, party invites, calligraphy, and stationary! She's best in the business!

Christine took my general ideas and transformed them into gorgeous invitations. The quality of the paper and printing is excellent, but most of all the calligraphy is just superb. The invitations are truly a work of art! I am absolutely OBSESSED and simply can't say enough about how awesome working with Christine was!
