Chris was super easy to work with and so organized. He helped our wedding day run so smoothly. He helped us create a timeline for special dances and games that we wanted to incorporate that would also keep the guests involved and ready to dance.
Before the wedding I expressed a concern to Chris that I wasn't sure how our dance floor would be because we had more of an older crowd. He assured me that he would not have a problem getting everyone up and dancing, and boy was he right! Our dance floor was packed until the very end of the night. It was better than anything I could have ever dreamed about!
We gave Chris full control of the music that was played and I highly suggest letting him do his thing! The way that he reads the crowd is unlike any other DJ. And when he joined in the dancing, it really made everyone enjoy the party even more! SO many of our guests are still talking about how great the music and dancing was! We also had multiple couples ask for his information for their upcoming weddings!
Our wedding would not have been as amazing of a night if Chris wasn't there to DJ. I wouldn't even think twice about hiring Chris. If he is available for your date he is the one you should hire! Hands down, the BEST DJ EVER!!!!

For our reception, we wanted it to be a wide range of eras to suit everyone’s taste, and then towards the end of the night we wanted it to feel like a “millennial’s dream club”. Boy, did he deliver!!! The entire night was an absolute blast and the dance floor never thinned out! Every single one of our guests, from the age of 18 to 90, RAVED about the music. He played all the right songs at the right times with the PERFECT transitions that kept the dance floor packed. We literally had guests who didn’t leave the dance floor for the whole 2.5 hours. They said they were waiting for that song that just doesn’t hit where everyone clears the floor so they could take a quick break, but every song was a JAM. I can’t think of a better compliment for a DJ. Chris told us how he got into being a DJ and that it felt like a calling for him. We couldn’t agree more. We asked Chris, of Big Handsome Entertainment, to do a club-style set for our wedding. He absolutely delivered! We are several weeks out from our wedding and guests (of all ages!) ...
are still telling us how much they loved our DJ. They assumed he was the regular DJ at the venue because he was so comfortable on the stage. In fact, it was his first time performing at that venue! He was having so much fun, which made everyone on the dance floor have so much fun too. He even came onto the dance floor and did the Wobble with us when it was clear that we were struggling to remember the moves!
Working with Chris was an absolute joy. He was very communicative, really easy to talk to, and had so much expertise to help us guide our decisions (e.g., on the right length of the dance, the mix of musical styles, etc). His goal is to make sure people want to be on the dance floor! Having an experienced DJ who can read a crowd makes all the difference. He even surprised us with a remixed version of a song that was composed specifically for our wedding ceremony!
It is clear that Chris does this because he really loves it. We’re already thinking about how we can hire him for another event because that was the best dance party of our lives!

The way Chris takes control of the music, the dance floor, the crowd and the vibes, he saw that vision and BLEW IT THROUGH THE VENUES ROOF. Not once did our guests leave the dance floor, not once did a smile leave our faces, from impromptu games and dance offs to amazingly timed drops- Chris did it ALL.
Throughout the planning process he took time to learn us as a couple, find WHY we like music as opposed to using a pre generated playlist like many others do.
Every detail about how I wanted music incorporated into my day became so, due to his impeccable attention to detail.
I will recommend Chris & Big Handsome Entertainment to anyone who has ears and loves a good time. I can’t imagine our wedding without them.

Chris is kind, engaging, gentle when giving his opinion and all around super positive and easy to work with. My husband and I are more reserved people and don’t love the attention a wedding naturally brings and Chris “yes and-ed” us and made us comfortable and pushed us out of the comfort zone without really pushing us at all. He created vibe where you couldn’t help but absolutely let it rip and have the best time. My husband is not someone I’ve seen dance in all our time together and he danced the majority of time the because of the atmosphere Chris created. So many people commented on how great he was and that DJs can make or break the vibe at the wedding. If you’re looking for high energy, great mixes, DJ participation, laughs and fun, DJ big handsome is for you. Our wedding event coordinator even mentioned how excited she was to work with him after speaking with him the day before to coordinate logistics, and our photographer mentioned to me that not all vendors are easy to work with but he was easy to coordinate with, happy to integrate and overall really really great. I can’t say enough good things, truly.

Bomoseen Lodge which he is the preferred vendor for and it showed with how great he was with communicating with their staff. We had a lot of last minute changes due to rain but Chris was flexible and executed our vision perfectly. We had guests with a wide range of music taste but everyone had an amazing time dancing the night away.
