So glad we found Bill! He was super easygoing and it was obvious he's a seasoned pro. I had a backyard wedding and was nervous about setup, but he knew exactly what to do and did i...
t quickly. He was very communicative leading up to the wedding, showed up on time, and took guest requests. I highly recommend him if you're looking for a reliable professional. Thank you, Bill, it was a pleasure!!
Big Bill!! We found him on Thumbtack and were a little skeptical but chatted with him and were pleasantly surprised! We made a plan for day of but unfortunately 3 days before the w...
edding we found out his house had caught fire. We’re so grateful that even during this time not only was he okay, but he was still able to make it! He didn’t do much remixing that we had talked about early on, but he definitely played an awesome array of music that had everyone dancing and laughing. Thanks Bill!
My partner and I were hoping for a better experience based on Big Bill’s great reviews, but unfortunately we were left quite disappointed during our wedding reception. We want to b...
egin with what we appreciated about Bill. He was very friendly and accommodating to our music preferences. He also coordinated well with the vendor which was very helpful for us. Bill’s DJing during the cocktail hour went well - we had provided him a list of music we wanted played (he was very amenable to this during our planning call) and transitioned well into his own playlist once our songs ended. The trouble began during the reception. We had provided Bill with a first dance song, father/daughter dance song, and mother/groom dance song weeks before the reception. My husband and I waited in the center of the dancefloor in awkward silence for minutes while Bill tried to locate the name of our song. Next, my father and I waited in silence for Bill to find our song, only for him to play the incorrect song. My husband had to run over to him and help him find the correct song. Fortunately, he got the song right for the mother/groom dance. We had also asked Bill to only play one slow dance song, he played two. Lastly, the transitions between songs were surprisingly disjointed. One song did not flow nicely into another, but there was awkward silence in between songs. I was also disappointed that Bill never apologized for the many mistakes during the first dance and father/daughter dance. Overall, we were quite disappointed in our experience with Big Bill.
Bill was amazing! He was easy to coordinate with and made the day seamless with 3 different set ups for ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. He kept everyone on the dance floor a...
nd allowed for requests - while still respecting our no play list. Highly recommend!
So happy we used Bill as our dj! He played all of the songs on our playlist and also took requests. The photo booth was a big hit and all the props were awesome. He was very kind a...
nd I will definitely be recommending him to anyone I know in need of a dj!
This DJ service was very easy to work with. We were specific about having a set play list with no requests. The DJ was very accommodating and easy to work with. We weren't able ...
to get to all songs of course but he was able to read the crowd and play songs that got most people up and dancing. We also didn't want any cheesy DJ antics and this service again listened to our needs perfectly.
Outstanding job at only a month's notice. We did not need lighting or any special effects but Big Bill still found a way to keep the party going and almost all of our attendants da...
ncing through the reception. He was adamant on wanting to play 'our music' and he delivered!!!
Great energy!! My guests were on the dance floor the entire time!! He played everything and my guests raved about how great the music was and how they danced all night! !!
In the interest of full disclosure I was referred to my DJ through a family member by marriage who is related to him. That said I couldnt be more impressed. He hit all the queues f...
or the entrances and my guests were hitting the floor all night. At one point there was no one in the seats because everyone was dancing. I got a cramp in my foot because everytime I would go to walk of the dance floor another great song would play. Music was one of the biggest things in my wedding and Bill did a fantastic job! Highly recommend!
