Bex and her team were such a dream to work with for our wedding this past June! I had a relatively large party, including myself, 8 bridesmaids, my mother and my mother in law were...
getting their hair and make up done. Bex ensured everyone would be done in a timely manner by bringing along Michael and setting up two MUA's to come with her which was wonderful as this was one less vendor for me as the bride to contact. Everything went smoothly and everyone absolutely loved their hair and make up. I go to Bex for my regular haircuts and color and when I mentioned my wedding date she got me on the books right away. My hair stayed put all night and am so glad that we went with a style up off my neck for a warm night in June! Bex ensured my MOH was present to see how the veil was pinned in to have it removed later at the wedding. Such a great experience with vendors that are also friends. Would recommend to anyone looking for wedding hair and make up or just a wonderful place to get their hair cuts! 20/10!
Look no further for your wedding day beauty squad! There is no better team. They will make you feel so heard, loved, beautiful and special on your wedding day. Becca and team were...
so responsive and patient to my requests for multiple hair trials, and took feedback on my makeup trial so that the day of look was flawless. My bridal party just adored their humor and skill.
If you live in the New York Capital District and are looking for hair and make-up for your wedding, I highly recommend Bex Salon on Union Street in Schenectady. I was lucky enough ...
to already be a client, but when it came to my daughter's wedding in June of 2022, all I had to do was mention it in 2021 and I was already on the books! We confirmed by contract for hair and make-up and that morning Bex and her staff, along with the make-up artist were raring to go!!! As mother of the bride, I definitely had some anxiety that day, but 2 minutes in the salon melted all anxiety away. They had seven of us that day and the organization of all of it went so smoothly! No stress at all! If you are looking for calm energy for your wedding day, my sincere recommendation is Bex Salon!
As soon as I got engaged, I knew that I had to have BEX for all my wedding day beauty needs. Bex truly listens to her clients, connects on a personal level to understand your visio...
n, and puts her heart and soul into her work. She is tremendously talented and skilled at her art. Bex and I talked through my goals, and she helped lighten my hair over a period of several months so I could have the exact look I wanted on my wedding day. Bex took great care of me, and every visit to the salon with Bex, Olivia, and Michael feels like time spent with close friends.
Bex is a beautiful and genuine human who attracts other wonderful people, so you can trust that anyone she brings on board will bring quality work and joy to your wedding day. When I added a few extra people to get hair and makeup done, Bex was able to book additional makeup and hair artists so we could stay on schedule. She was quick to pivot and accommodate to make sure that my day was not just stress-free, but fun. When a family member had a psoriasis flare-up on her scalp, Bex reassured her and brought special products that made it possible for her to still get her hair done. My wedding party, along with our mothers and grandmothers, absolutely loved working with Bex, Judy, Lizzie, and Lauren. We were each looking forward to sitting in the chair so we could chat and laugh with the girls as they beautified us :) Since the wedding, my grandmother had such a great time that she has left her usual hair salon to become a regular at BEX! Highly, highly recommend checking out BEX for all of your beauty needs, whether for wedding, color, styling, cut, or everyday maintenance.

e for my October wedding in Vermont, and the two of them were my (and my wedding party's) favorite vendor of the entire wedding. She has a very relaxed vibe that made wedding morning feel so smooth and calm while cranking out 8 beautiful hairstyles! My hair stayed perfect for the entire night, despite lots of dancing and running around. My hair is naturally curly so it was also important to me to find someone who could enhance that natural look while glamming it up a little. Bex did an amazing job and I just cannot recommend her enough! Book her now, you will absolutely not be disappointed. Thank you for everything, Bex and Stevie!!!
Becca was amazing? She was great to work with and very responsive. Her prices were reasonable as was her travel fee to come to Windham to do our hair at the venue. We had a change ...
in the number of girls a few months before the wedding and she was able to update my contract no problem. The bridesmaids' hair came out AMAZING. They looked absolutely stunning! I would 10/10 recommend BEX Salon for your wedding or other hair needs.

er. I usually get nervous with people touching my natural curls and she treated my hair with so much care. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day! My bridesmaids also loved the way their hair came out. She showed up on time and was patient with me running around to do last minute things on the day of. I absolutely loved working with her and her team and would 1000% recommend! Inquire and book with Bex Salon, you won’t regret it!

re so very appreciative! I can’t tell you how many people commented on our hair and makeup throughout the night. I felt like a celebrity!
Not only did Bex make us look beautiful for this special day but the whole team was so easy and comfortable to work with. Not only would I HIGHLY recommend them for anyone’s special day, but I will also be continuing as a client in the salon as well because I can’t imagine going anywhere else now. Do not hesitate to hire them!

o finish with time to spare and along the way they were making sure everyone looked perfect and not a hair out of place. They really are a great team and so supportive of their clients. I highly recommend them for any wedding and hair styling in general! Love these girls and couldn’t ask for better!
Bex is a sweet gem of a person and an amazing stylist. Having my wedding 6 hours from home, I was nervous about trusting someone other than my regular stylist, but once I met Bex a...
t my hair trial, I felt like I'd known her forever. After my hair trial, she patiently and thoughtfully listened to my ideas and offered her own, so that my wedding-day style was absolutely perfect. And wow, it really was everything I'd hoped and more. Her work, as well as how she styled of all my girls' hair, blew me away. Not only was it gorgeous, but it stayed in place all day. I couldn't have asked for a better or more talented stylist to make my wedding hair dreams come true.

salon totally glammed up. Bex is just a lovely talented artist who clearly loves what she does and enjoys the challenge of a packed salon. She was so gracious and the memories of this experience will last for all of us forever.

y wedding after struggling to find a hair stylist that I liked near my wedding venue or an affordable NYC stylist willing to travel upstate. Her style is edgy and cool. So much better than most of the stylists I saw upstate whose styles looked stiff and outdated. I was immediately comfortable when I first met her and loved my hair trial.
Becca did my bridal hair, hairstyles for five bridesmaids (all with different hair types and styles) and a last minute mother of the bride style. Leading up to the wedding, Becca helped me choose between extensions and hair pieces that would compliment my look. She was flexible and professional when we had to make some last minute changes in the ‘day of’ schedule. She worked quickly and did an amazing job. We all loved our hair styles. I can not recommend her enough.
Wow, where to begin?! On a chaotic busy day like getting ready for a wedding, Bex is the woman you want on your team. She made me feel radiant, unique, and totally myself- she was...
my center that day, and even though I was her top priority, she still made my mother in law, my girls, and my mother feel like queens!
Bex has loving patience, talent, and finesse. She brings such ease to her makeup and hair styling I could not imagine the day without her. We spent time together before the wedding crafting my look, and it exceeded all my expectations on the day. Her execution is flawless. A standout moment for me was when she helped me put on my mother's veil- making sure all the little hairs were in place before heading out the door, she helped me stay calm and in the moment.
A few weeks after the wedding we checked in for a big thank you and I found out she was wicked sick with a head cold on the wedding day and I HAD NO CLUE. She is a badass rockstar with standout skill, talent, and vision. She is a must to trust on the most important day of you life.
Due to my fine hair (and unusually high winds that day), the practice updo didn't stay too well so Bex went back to the drawing board and patiently and thoroughly nailed my updo on...
my wedding day. Just like an architect, she redesigned her original plan and the look held ALL NIGHT and looked fabulous! I was 100% thrilled with the outcome and would recommend BEX for your bridal (or any) hair needs!
