Flexible, transparent and a trial that took the guesswork out! Emma used Berry Hill Beauty for her wedding hair (she did her own makeup), and we'd recommend them to any bride. Her stylist, Nicole, was wonderful. Booking was easy, and so was changing her appointment time after she'd already booked. Pricing was transparent, and the team was responsive by email and phone whenever she had a question. What we appreciated most is that the services are close to à la carte. Many places require a minimum number of services or a minimum spend. Berry Hill Beauty doesn't, which makes it flexible and a great fit for weddings of any budget. Before our wedding shower, Emma booked a trial where they ran through her full wedding-day hair, so she knew she'd be happy with it on the day. You can bring anything you want to wear in your hair, and they'll help you practice with your veil. The salon is clean and organized. It wasn't crowded or loud, so it felt like a private experience. But there were other brides getting their hair done for their own weddings, which tells you it's an established place. They were happy for Emma to bring her mom along, and you can bring whoever you'd like (within reason). Everyone was so nice. I had both hair and makeup done for my wedding, as well as all of my bridesmaids and family received both services as well! I can’t say enough positive things about BHB salon-side and BHB bridal!! They were a dream to work with from scheduling/booking, helping me narrow down inspiration at my trial, and then wedding day! I truly have never looked better! Nichole helped facilitate the entire booking and scheduling process with us and it was such a breeze, especially accommodating close to 20 services all on wedding day! I also LOVED my hair and makeup done by Taylor (hair) and Amy (makeup)! I have never looked better! They executed exactly what I wanted and were so open to me making changes on the fly or going in a different direction from what we did at my trial. I was even more amazed when my hair and makeup lasted ALL night! They are true professionals and the best of the best in Nashville! Her team came to us for the wedding morning and made it one of the most relaxing and enjoyable experiences. Every girl relayed what they wanted with inspiration pics and the team delivered! I've never felt more beautiful than I have as a bride and Madison plays a great role in that. She stayed after the initial hair and makeup for touch-ups to make sure than everything looked and felt their best. planning. The wedding morning didn’t go as planned. Berry Hill Beauty’s schedule had everyone finished by 1:00pm, and we weren’t ready until about 2:30pm. Partway through my wife’s hair, she was told her style needed more time than the schedule allowed, so she ended up doing much of her own makeup and lashes to keep things moving. The delay cut her getting-ready photos to about 15 minutes, rushed our portraits, and cost us the photos we’d planned in our ceremony space. When we raised this afterward, it took a few rounds of emails, but the owner, Laura, took responsibility, apologized, and offered a partial refund we felt was fair. We appreciate that she followed through. If you book, I’d recommend confirming that the schedule realistically fits each person’s style, especially for a larger party.

My stylist took all my inspiration photos and created a look that was flattering to my unique appearance. The team worked quickly and efficiently and my bridesmaids (there were 9!!!!) all ended up with hair and makeup they loved. The team did touch ups and fixes before they left and gave each girl a little sample bag for touch-ups later in the day. I booked Helen B for hair and makeup for my wedding day for myself along with my 9 bridesmaids and mother. I had a trial a month ahead of the wedding - I was really bad at communicating what look I was going for and Helen was so patient with me as we tried out different looks.
