My family was in Oklahoma, and my husband and I were trying to survive exams, residency applications, interviews, and somehow plan a wedding for nearly 200 guests in another state. My parents generously paid for our wedding, and with that naturally came lots of opinions. I often found myself caught between my vision and what my mom wanted. Wedding planning can be emotional, and family dynamics can make it even more stressful. Somehow, Sarah kept all of that to a minimum. She listened without judgment, made us both feel heard, and found compromises I never thought were possible. She didn’t just help plan our wedding. She helped protect relationships that could have easily become strained, and I will always be grateful for that. I told Sarah I wanted our wedding to be something people would remember forever. She absolutely made that happen. Guests still tell us it was one of the most beautiful, fun, and thoughtfully planned weddings they’ve ever attended. I spent the day soaking in every moment with my husband, our families, and the people who traveled from all over to celebrate with us. That is a gift I can never repay.
