I worked with several ladies from Beauty by K2 for my wedding back in September. I had an amazing experience with all of them, they were all very kind, professional and made me fee...
l comfortable throughout the process.
I got a mobile spray tan by Macy, she was so so sweet and kind, it was my first ever spray tan and I was so nervous but she talked me through everything and gave me very clear instructions on how to take care of the tan. It turned out amazing!
Katie, who is the owner, did my eyebrows and an eyelash lift, she was also amazing and so sweet. She did an incredible job, my lashes never looked so good before!
Finally, I worked with Delaney for my wedding day hair and makeup. We did a trial first, and it went very well, the trial made me feel so calm going into my special day. On my wedding day, Delaney made me feel so incredibly beautiful and glamorous while still looking like me. She did my daughter, our flower girls hair as well and it was so sweet. Everything was perfect!!
Faith was the 2nd artist working my wedding and did so good with all my bridesmaids hair and makeup, everyone looked stunning. The hairstyles and makeup lasted all of us girls for the whole night, they gave us touch up kits as well for throughout the day which was such a nice thing to have especially for me taking a lot of photos in the sun!
Overall, my whole experience with Beauty by K2 was amazing, I cannot recommend them enough!

e the wedding! I would 100% recommend her for any special occasion. She is just the best!!
Initially, I booked with Katie and her team because of the portfolio that I found after much social media searching for the right hair and makeup artist. Working with Katie turned ...
out to be such a treat. Not only did they do wonderful work for the day of, but I went to Katie for a facial and have gotten to know her, and will continue to go to her for my skincare needs. She is so talented, genuine, and does amazing work for her clients. My bridesmaids and I had so much fun getting ready with her and her team, they really made it memorable for me. I cannot recommend enough!
I had a wonderful experience with Beauty by K2 for my wedding. Throughout the entire planning process, Katie was professional, organized, and communicated well. When an unexpected ...
scheduling change arose, she handled it thoughtfully and went above and beyond to make the situation right, which I greatly appreciated.
When Katie could not be there for my wedding she paired me with her lead artist Trinity who was exceptional. She did my hair and makeup for my trial, rehearsal, and wedding day. I got to know her well and she created looks for me that were stunning, polished, and glamorous. Multiple people commented that I looked like a real-life bridal Barbie :) Most importantly, I still felt like myself, just the best version.
Overall, Trinity was talented, sweet, patient, and accommodating throughout the entire process. She also worked her magic on my mom, who has more mature skin, and made her feel beautiful, confident, and comfortable.
The assistants were great with my bridesmaids. The whole team kept the morning relaxed and enjoyable. From start to finish, the entire team was a pleasure to work with.
I would absolutely book Beauty by K2 again and highly recommend Katie, Trinity, and their team to any bride looking for beautiful results and excellent service.

ganized and easy to communicate with. I have a lot of hair and wanted an updo, and she knocked it out of the park. It stayed all night and looked gorgeous. My makeup was also perfect, and I received so many compliments! I can't say enough good things about Katie and would recommend her to anyone. I plan to have her do my HMU again for future events.
I cannot say enough good things about Katie and her team. Katie & team did my wedding hair and makeup for myself and my bridal party (Bride, MOB, FG, + 7) and they made getting re...
ady nothing but joyous and everyone looked and felt GORGEOUS. Macy on her team was able to come to my hotel and do my spray tan before the wedding and it was PERFECT. She took the time to listen to what I wanted and executed - she's also a sweetheart! I knew from the trial and on that Katie would be the perfect person to have on my wedding day. She is calm, fun, and helped me to look and feel my best even when I couldn't fully articulate it. She and her team were a seamless addition to our getting ready time and stayed flexible with us - even last minute. Several of my girls have joked about taking her and her team to Vegas with us for one of our annual events and I'm not so sure it was a joke. Everyone's makeup lasted from photos to the hotel after party! Not to mention, Katie did my wedding DAYS before giving birth and still stayed longer then she had to to make sure my lips were perfect and my hair comb was in. I cannot recommend Katie and her team highly enough for weddings or any event where you want to feel beautiful. I was the most confident in my skin on my wedding day than I ever have been and that was in large part due to Katie - she is an absolute QUEEN!

Katie and her team were incredible! It can be really stressful as a bride to make sure you're staying within the timeline for everything but she absolutely put me at ease and took ...
away that stress. It's also not easy for me to articulate the look I'm going for and she was so helpful getting me to where I wanted to be. I'm so happy with how my hair and makeup ended up and she was so great to work with. Definitely recommend!

Not only is she incredibly skilled, but she was also such a calm and kind presence on a busy, emotional day. I also booked her for touchups (highly recommend, especially with the July heat in Nashville!), and I’m so thankful I did—she made sure I looked flawless from start to finish.

During my hair and makeup trial (at her studio which is so cute!) I was having a really rough day and Katie just let me talk through things - she was super helpful with advice as well. At the trial I came in with some ideas and she helped me refine them with changes to makeup and hair as we went. I felt confident going into my wedding it would be exactly what I was looking for.
For the wedding, Katie and her team came to our venue and she repeated what we had practiced and then also provided hair and makeup to my mom, stepmom and matron of honor. Their loved Katie and Nicole's work and all received compliments.
I would highly recommend BeautybyK2 for wedding or special occasion services.

ll night. The makeup look is exactly what I asked for, it lasted all night, it wasnt cakey, it never creased and the lashes never popped up once they were glued on. I also loved my hair. I wasnt sure how I wanted my hair to look, all I knew is that I wanted an updo. During my trial, Katie tried two different hairstyles, which really gave me peace of mind and helped me decide what I wanted to do. The hair turned out even better on the wedding day and I was SO happy with how it turned out. Also -- all of my bridal party hair & makeup was stunning.
I also booked a dermaplane appointment with Katie which was amazing. The dermaplane made my skin so smooth and made the makeup apply so evenly and beautifully.
If you are looking for a hair & makeup artist for your wedding day I cant recommend Beauty by K2 enough!

ce to get my bridesmaids and I prepped for wedding day. I did what Katie had recommended for her brides prior to wedding day, which was; makeup trials, spray tan trials, facials, derma-planing, brow lamination and tint, hair trials, all the things to make sure I looked and felt my best on the big day. Katie truly made me feel so comfortable throughout the process, she treated me like a friend and I really appreciated that. She took the time to listen and really try to understand my vision for the wedding day, and she nailed it. I would highly recommend Beauty by K2, and Katie Barr for all of your bridal / event needs.
