The hair gets 5 stars. They did an amazing job with my hair and my bridesmaids’ hair. They were so positive and made the experience so enjoyable. The makeup gets zero stars, do not...
make get makeup through here. The artist was negative, talked down to me, made mean comments about my face, and was very unprofessional. They also could not do makeup on different skin types. I left crying the experience was so bad. Do hair here, but no makeup.
The women at the Beauty Bar who did my hair and my bridal party's hair did a fantastic job! Kim, my hair stylist, did a wonderful job! At the beginning of my trial I showed her som...
e pictures of hairstyles that I liked, and she knew right away what direction to take my hair in.
Kim styled my hair in a low, romantic chignon, and it looked gorgeous! I have collarbone-length hair, so Kim added some extensions and a doughnut to give the style more volume. She did a great job matching the extensions to my hair, and you couldn't even tell that I had extensions in since they looked so natural.
Kim was very easy to communicate with. Any concern I had with the style she addressed during my trial, and everything turned out great on my big day! Not only was she easy to communicate with, but she also was kind, friendly, and put me at ease.
If you are looking for professional, talented hair stylists for your wedding day, Beauty Bar is a great choice!
The girls really k ow what there
Doing with hair and makeup and I loved how I looke for my by day and my bridesmaids looked great !!
I have always thought of the Beauty Bar as a very up-scale, high quality business. I was sadly disappointed with the way my bridal party and I were treated when we went for mani/pe...
dicures the day before my wedding. We all got together, made appointments, and were told they could accommodate all of us. However, it was a different story when we got there. The girls didn't pay attention to what we each wanted, they did a very poor quality job in doing our nails, and told some of my party they just simply did not have time to finish their services. My mom ended up paying around $200 for my manicure and my Grandma's basic pedicure. Overall I would never recommend this place to anyone. Go somewhere else, there are plenty of fine places in Toledo.
Beauty Bar will pamper you and make you feel like the special Bride you are. I come here as a regular client and they always do an amazing job!!!
everyone was friendly. very clean and courteous
The Beauty Bar was wonderful. The coordinator was very profession and organized. We had 10 people get hair and makeup done the day of the wedding in about 2.5 hours. Everyone was v...
ery satisfied with their results and they are open on Sundays! I would highly recommend the Beauty Bar to anyone getting married in the Toledo area.
From booking the bridal party, prebridal hair and makeup, and the day of the wedding, everything was fabulous. All employees treated myself and the rest of my bridal party with gre...
atness, and our hair and makeup was more than we could have asked for. I was in love with my prebridal look, but had a few minor changes to the overall look, and every changed I asked for, was EXACT on the day of the wedding. They really do a great job!
Raquel did my hair and make up for a 20's themed wedding. All my bridesmaids looked like they stepped out of a 1920's movie...amazing work! I was so pleased with my make up and hai...
r. She even put in a birdcage veil and a 20's headpiece. We rented out the loft upstairs for the morning for $50 and they provided breakfast. It was a perfect/relaxing morning and a blast.
I'm super glad I planned the trial hair and makeup appt about a week before my wedding. I had my makeup done first, and it was honestly so bad, I wanted to cry. I showed her pictur...
es and talked to her about what I was looking for and I just ending up looking like a mess. (think Courtney Love mess). I kept asking her to fix certain things but it was just Bad, plain and simple. I cancelled my make up appt. for my wedding day and did my own make up. Not a huge deal. My bridesmaids got their makeup done on the day of at Beauty Bar and a different girl did the makeup and I think she did a really good job, so Phew!
On to hair...I loved my hair sooo sooo much! I showed Sarah pictures and told her the theme of the wedding and she did the rest. She did a better job than I could have imagined and I am so happy I went to Beaty Bar for my hair. Of my 5 bridesmaids that also got their hair done there, one of them wasn't really happy with her hair but the rest were. Also, my sister/maid of honor's hair was SUPER beautiful as well.
I recommend beauty bar highly for bridal hair!
The party coordinator, Lindsey was amazing. She was able to squeeze in appointments for my flower girls hair, and bridesmaid who wanted last minute make-up done, even though they ...
were fully booked for the day. She promptly set up appointments for make-up and hair We were able to rent a bridal suite for privacy to get ready in and to serve food and champagne. My stylist Jen E, and make-up artist Jill were incredible. I have never felt so beautiful. This was a great way to start the day and get to spend time with my bridesmaids. Highly recommended!
These gals here did a wonderful job. I had no idea how I wanted my hair, but Tina gave me some ideas and they came together great!
Raquel did my hair for my wedding day (and one practice session) and I have to say, she knocked it out of the park. I would recommend her to anyone!
