I cannot say enough good things about Kelsey and her team! I loved the way our wedding partyâs hair and make up turned out, and special shout out to Kelsey for ensuring my wedding...
hair held up the whole nightâeven after many hours of dancing (and jumping) on the dance floor! The whole team was great with all ages and all styles; I felt like everyoneâs distinct personality came through. Importantly, they listened to the comfort level of everyone in the wedding party. A few of our attendants donât wear make up regularly, and Kelseyâs team walked them through the process and listened to what they wanted. Iâd especially highlight how accommodating Kelsey was with changes to service amounts at the last minute, as she did not charge me for a bridesmaid who could no longer attend due to medical reasons, and for her clear communication throughout the entire process.
Kelsey, Aziza, and Toni were great for my wedding. I had 4 bridesmaids, 2 moms and myself. Overall the makeup and hair came out great. I enjoyed my trial and my photos were beautif...
ul. They were able to work with various skin conditions, complexions and curly hair which was important to us. Kelsey was communicative. My only note is that the stylists arrived almost an hour behind schedule due to traffic which delayed a lot of our pre-ceremony photos. Not sure if it was preventable or not. When the ladies arrived they were a pleasure.
**Highly Recommend Kelsey!**
Kelsey was absolutely amazing from start to finish. From the moment we reached out, she was professional, super responsive, and so helpful with all...
of our questionsâwhether it was over email or text.
During our trial, she gave great advice about lashes, make up styles, and hair extensions/accessories, which made the whole process stress-free. She did an incredible job working with both me and my wife, accommodating our different styles. My wife went for a more natural, barely-there look, while I wanted soft glam, and Kelsey nailed both perfectly!
On the wedding day, she showed up ready to go and made the whole getting-ready process so easy and fun. Best of all, our hair and makeup held up beautifully all night longâthrough all the hugs, dancing, and happy tears!
Beyond her talent, Kelsey just fit right in. She was so easy to talk to and immediately felt like part of the family while we were all getting ready together.
I canât recommend Kelsey enough. If youâre looking for someone talented, professional, and a joy to work with, sheâs the one. 10/10!
I found Kelsey after I had a disastrous trial with another hair and makeup vendor. From the moment I first spoke with her on the phone, Kelsey was incredibly sympathetic, kind, and...
immediately put me at ease. She asked questions to better understand why I didn't like my hair and makeup at the trial with the other vendor and reassured me that she would be able to create the look I desired.
At my trial, Kesley was attentive to detail, provided me with advice for how to get my skin ready for the wedding, and walked my mom and I through her process from start to finish. After my trial with Kelsey, I terminated my contract with the other vendor and booked her on the spot.
Booking with Kelsey and her team was hands down the best decision I made for my wedding. Kelsey was communicative, professional, and easy to work with throughout the entire process. She and her team did an exceptional job on mine, my bridal party's, and my mom's and mother in law's hair and makeup. No one looked cakey or overdone and our hair and makeup lasted all night despite us wreaking havoc on the dance floor.
Aside from being incredibly talented, Kelsey is also personable and fun-- my crew and I had a blast getting ready with her!
Kelsey didn't just meet my expectations, she far exceeded them. I truly cannot say enough good things about Kelsey and her team at Beauty and Bridal Philly and HIGHLY recommend.
Kelsey and Liz are ABSOLUTELY incredible. After my trial I was so excited to get to see these girls again for my wedding. My bridal party and I agree that not only did they do an i...
ncredible job on our hair and makeup, but they were so fun to hang with all day while getting ready. My venue was quite a drive for them, and they both made it on time and had a perfect timeline set for the day for us girls to get ready but still have fun! I have never felt so beautiful. My husband lost it in tears at our first look. Everyone loved my natural makeup & I got so many compliments on my hair. My bridal party literally looked so stunning. Everything with these ladies was perfect I could not recommend them enough! Kelsey was amazing through the entire process with communication, helpful tips, and just organization was amazing. I would definitely book these ladies again for an event. Iâm so glad I had them for my wedding!
Kelsey and her team were efficient, professional, above-and-beyond helpful, and best of all made me, my mom, and my large bridal party look and feel beautiful on my wedding day. I ...
would not hesitate to hire them again if I ever need hair and makeup!
Kelsey did the makeup for our May 2024 wedding! She was prompt with her timing, excellent at accommodating requests, and did amazing work. Kelsey was also able to accommodate all d...
ifferent skin types and tones. She swooped in and saved our day when the brideâs hair had to be redone even though we did not book her for hair. She went out of her way to make sure our day was exactly how we envisioned. Kind, fun, friendly and inclusive - we cannot recommend Kelsey and Beauty and Bridal Philly enough!!!!
This team is AMAZING. My MUA was Martha Lee @MarthaLee_MUA, and my hairstylist was Kelsey Ann Ferro @kelseyannartistry. They were a dream team. I canât speak enough praise about th...
em.
My trial brought my self-confidence as a bride so far up, not to mention they gave me snacks to go, so that was a plus. I literally showed Martha three pictures of kind of what I wanted, she totally understood it, and then she executed it exactly! Like magic!
On my wedding day, they were early, stayed on schedule, and made my bridal party feel amazing. They were gender-affirming with my nonbinary bridesperson. They also just have great chat. They can hang. Also, I loved that they asked each of my bridal party members how they wanted to look, and they perfectly executed the style of hair and makeup each of them wanted. One of my bridesmaids has natural curls, and Martha brought out each individual curl.
So in sum: talented, personable, amazing. Seriously awesome ladies. Canât recommend them enough.
I was so nervous about hair and makeup, having ~a lifetime~ of issues with my skin and wanting to feel confident and beautiful on my wedding day without feeling like my makeup cros...
sed a line and made me look like a different person. Despite the fact that I have no idea what I'm talking about with hair and makeup, Kelsey NAILED exactly what I was looking for and I ended up with a look that made me want to cry (which, they reminded me, would be ok because everything was waterproof). It was beautiful, but soft and natural. I've never felt so good.
Kelsey and I also reworked my hair day-of, and she came up with a new style that blew me away and made me feel so pretty.
Beyond being ridiculously good at what she does, she was also so much fun to hang out with. I felt like I had another friend chilling with us in the bridal suite. With everything going on that day, it was so so so important to have someone who brought good vibes with her and who could fit in with all of my friends so easily.
There are so many options choosing hair/makeup for your wedding that it's overwhelming, but I promise that this is the right one.
Kelsey is so warm and friendly, and is an expert at her craft. Our wedding was 10/14/23, and I had a trial about a month and a half prior. I have naturally curly hair and wanted to...
look like me on my big day. Kelsey took my wild curls, perfected them beyond what I thought was possible, and styled them into the most romantic and beautiful up do. The final result was better than any inspiration photo I provided. My veil and hair accessory were expertly placed, leaving my veil removable for after the ceremony but still comfortable and secure. I have never felt more beautiful! Thank you Kelsey
I would highly recommend Beauty & Bridal Philly! Kelsey was fantastic to work with. She responded to my questions/emails so quickly and always answered my questions thoroughly! Mel...
ina did airbrush makeup for myself and three others, and a little lip gloss and eye shadow for my 7-year-old niece. Melina was so wonderful to work with from the trial through the wedding day. I don't wear a lot of makeup, especially face/foundation makeup, and it was really important to me that I look and feel like myself on my wedding day. Melina listened to me without judgment and wasn't bothered at all when I asked to remove some eye makeup during the trial. On my wedding day, everyone's makeup looked amazing! Even though some wanted more glam and others more natural, everyone was thrilled! Not to mention, Melina was a great addition to the crew and everyone enjoyed her company.
The Beauty & Bridal team were so easy to work with! They listened to all of my requests and made myself and my girls feel comfortable, confident, and beautiful on my wedding day!
Kelsey was incredible to work with right from the start. My trusted stylist introduced us and we clicked right away. During the trial we talked through two different styles I was c...
onsidering and she tried them both. While both looked incredible, we felt that a soft finger wave/S wave to channel a vintage vibe with my dress and the overall feel of our wedding was THE way to go. On our wedding day, she was so much fun to talk to, created an epic style with a birdcage veil and both my sister and mom looked outstanding! She was prepared and professional. She traveled with me to the wedding venue and touched up my hair after the ceremony as I removed the veil and also touched up my sister. Her style and collaborative consult was on-point and just above and beyond what I had even imagined - better than the inspiration photos that I showed her. My hair was (and is) very important to me and I felt like the best possible version of myself on that day. My wedding photos speak for themselves! HIGHLY recommend Kelsey as a fantastic, collaborative partner.
I love Beauty and Bridal Philly!!! Kelsey made me feel beautiful and she also made me feel heard which so so so important during the wedding planning process. Some hair and make up...
people will just nod and say sure and then do what they want but not Kelsey. She listens and gives you exactly what you asked for and if for some reason you change your mind she rolls with it! My mother and mother in law were both tough customers but Kelsey was wonderful with them. Sheâs also just really fun to be around. I highly recommend her and her team!!
Kelsey is a ABSOLUTE QUEEN!
I will be honest, I booked a different company for my hair and makeup and the lead HMUA tested positive for Covid the night before my wedding. My orig...
inal vendor reached out to Kelsey and she was able to get her team on site with just over 12 hours to prepare! Kelsey, Martha, and Siana were absolute ANGELS and saved our wedding day!
Without a trial and only photos to go by, Kelsey completely understood my vision and helped make a couple of tweaks. I trusted Martha to do whatever she thought would work best with my dress and she NAILED IT.
MOB and MOG were nervous with their shorter hair and they both don't usually wear makeup, but they LOVED their looks and all of the girls made them feel so comfortable.
I keep telling Kelsey it was simply fate that she swooped in and took care of me on our wedding day. I'm definitely reaching out in the future for any beauty needs. THANK YOU, KELSEY!
Where do I ever begin? I am beyond blessed to have found Kelsey for my wedding day. Kelsey did my hair and make-up for the wedding, along with my mother's and my mother-in-law's!! ...
I had been scrambling to find an artist who specialized in natural bridal make-up, but also had that little touch of glam. Kelsey is amazing at both styles - she can accent your features in a beautiful and natural way, but also give you that glamorous feeling. Her personality is so fun and outgoing, and she makes your wedding day feel so relaxed. She is so easy to talk to and I knew I was in good hands when we met at my trial. Her skills are exemplary and I couldn't have asked for a better artist on my wedding day. We all loved you, Kelsey!!!
Kelsey is one of the nicest people I've ever met! I was so worried about finding vendors that were LGBTQ friendly, and she blew us away with her professionalism. Apart from being a...
wonderful queer ally, her skills were unmatched! The time that she assembled for us on our wedding day was great. We had 13 people getting hair and makeup done, and I was afraid we were going to be there at 6am. The team worked so quickly, and we were able to get everyone done in a span of a few hours! My wife and I looked beautiful, and we got compliments all night. If I had to recommend any vendor from our wedding it would be Beauty and Bridal Philly! Thank you again for everything!
I am so happy I found Kelsey for my wedding day! Because I had already chosen a make-up artist, I hired her to do hair for me and my bridal party. I wasn't the most decisive bride....
When I booked multiple trials for my hair to figure out what I really wanted, she was so patient with me. She really helped me figure out the best hairstyle for my wedding day! On the actual wedding day, Kelsey was prompt and accommodating. My bridesmaids and family members ended up LOVING their hair and I think we ended up finished ahead of schedule! In addition, we had pretty awful weather on our wedding day, but Kelsey's cheery and calming personality helped make getting ready go by smoothly. I would recommend Kelsey to anyone looking for a hair and makeup artist for their wedding day. You would be in good hands!!!

ns about the look I was going for and advising me on what was practical with my hair type. My hair and makeup was flawless through a hot sweaty day and a long night of dancing. She and her team helped all of our wedding party feel beautiful and loved. They customized each person's look to their skin tone, face shape and personal hopes. She was kind to my family - especially my grandmother with dementia. Every single person has said that they felt beautiful that day because of Kelsey and her team. She was worth every penny plus more! I highly recommend Beauty & Bridal Philly!
