I hired the BeautifulOne for my wedding last weekend. The only time I was stressed out was when the three people we hired all ran late.
Becca who owns the company showed up three ...
hours late and didn't even apologize.
My bridesmaids had to start doing their own hair and makeup. It was a huge let down, especially because we pre paid and had the whole schedule planned out with them in advance. We were supposed to start at 11am and the first girl showed up at noon. The second at 1 and the third at 3.
On a side note, Daisy was able to do my hair and makeup and did a phenomenal job. I would recommend hiring her separately.
Becky does beautiful natural make-up.
She makes you look beautiful without going over the top. She has an impressive array of make-up that she brings with her. We did a trial for...
my engagement photos where we tested out different colors.
On the wedding day, Becky brought along an assistant who did my mom and sister's make up. We worked on my hair style a bit more because it had grown out since the engagement photos. Becky worked with me to pin up different parts of my hair and add flowers until I was satisfied.
Not only does Becky do beautiful work, she has really attractive pricing structures compared to the other make up artists, and is really responsive.
I received many complements that day and would highly recommend Becky!
Becky and her team are so great to work with, and a fantastic value as well. She is super responsive, flexible, just a really kind person, and totally finished our makeup/hair on s...
chedule (I had four bridesmaids and two mothers—definitely a feat!). I asked for a light, natural, ethereal makeup style, and for a natural, garden-appropriate hairstyle. Becky was able to work with me during the makeup trial to come up with a look I was totally in love with, even spending a lot of time arranging and rearranging a collection of floral hair accessories I’d wanted to incorporate. I also have some weird product allergies, and Becky was able to recommend products and work around my sensitive skin. My makeup and hair lasted from 11am-10pm, even with windy weather and lots of happy tears.
Becky also did the makeup/hair for my sister’s wedding a few years back so consider this a double recommendation :) Thanks so much Becky!!
After my initial hair & makeup trial with Becky, I was a bit concerned. My makeup was exactly what I wanted, but started sliding off after just a few hours, and she didn't take muc...
h care with my hairstyle.
The wedding day made up for that experience entirely. She arrived early, had a comfortable setup, and my hair & makeup were perfect. Everything stayed in place all day, despite extreme heat & long hours.
Would absolutely use BeautifulOne again!
It's been four years since I got married and I still can't stop talking about my hair and makeup that Becca did! I truly felt like a princess because of her help. I woke up the mor...
ning of my wedding with a pimple and you can't tell at all after the magic Becca worked. I have combination skin, but mainly oily and had an outdoor summer wedding. My makeup didn't budge and my face never got shiny. Even though I was sweating through my dress, my makeup never strayed. Thank you Becca!!
I had tried two other makeup artists through referrals and wasn't very satisfied, so I searched through The Knot and found Becca! I am clueless about hair and makeup but I did know...
I wanted an elegant, classic, and timeless look. Becca took her time, asked questions and took notes along the way during my trial so she could recreate exactly what I wanted. Once she finished, I was absolutely AMAZED with my hair and makeup. It turned out ever better than I could have imagined! I couldn't wait to have it done again on my wedding day.
I still get compliments on my hair (2 years later) when I show people my wedding photos. I would work with Becca again if I ever had another event or photo-shoot. I highly recommend her for any hair and/or makeup needs!
My wedding was in early spring this year so I really didn't give Becca much to work with, just a few words: spring, fresh, and natural. Wow, did she hit the nail on the head. I was...
glammed up for the day without fading away or clashing against my pastel wedding theme. The cosmetics she used were picked to accommodate my skin type (which is difficult and oily/dry combination) and I didn't need any touch-ups that day (from 11am-12am). My make-up was one thing I definitely never had to worry about on that hectic day because she knows what is needed and really worked with me to get the perfect result.
