we needed and he was lightning quick with responding to any question or issue we had. We had periodic meetings during planning to make sure all our details and concerns were taken care of. Travis was so amazing! He even helped my girls bustle my dress when we were having trouble. The Woodland Ballroom looked amazing on the day of and they even made it beautiful when we had to make the decision to move our ceremony inside. The hotel was spotless, the food was fantastic and the staff were amazing: we felt like royalty! They were super quick to help us solve any issues that arose so quickly and efficiently that the guests didn’t even know something was amiss. Not to mention we didn’t have to do any set-up or breakdown, which was a blessing because at the end of the night, we were exhausted. Our presents were even brought directly to our room by hotel security. If you are still unsure if you want to book here, let me tell you now: JUST DO IT! You won’t regret it, and your planning will just have gotten 100x easier.

The bar was stocked well and the guest enjoyed the drinks. The food was delicious! We had 3 professional chefs in the room as guest and they all enjoyed the food. Our reception was held in the nearby Woodland Ballroom, and after-party space was provided in the Grille with the bar staying open until 1 a.m. Beyond the beauty of this location, we highly recommend it because everything was so easy and convenient. Our wedding sales manager, Aimee, was just outstanding to work with, she is absolutely on top of every detail. Once we arrived at Bear Creek the day of rehearsal, we handed off all of our decorations to Aimee (who even pitched in to help us unload the trucks). She and her team took care of the rest, including setting up, taking down, and storing all of our decorations. This relieved us of so much work and stress so that everyone could just enjoy the day. All we had to provide were instructions and the decor itself. It could not have been an easier process! Aimee was also accommodating for a semi-last minute surprise video planned by my husband. Even more, the food was outstanding. My husband and I both had the filet mignon. We also loved the ad-on option of a s'mores bar. From the personal touch of handing us a signature drink as we walked out of the ceremony, to the ease of staying right on site, we can not say enough good things about Aimee and Bear Creek Mountain Resort. We highly recommend!!!

venues, Travis Whitaker was incredibly detailed with showing us all three reception spaces and 2 outdoor ceremony spaces (which included plan B and plan C for inclement weather for all reception spaces), and answered all questions for us seamlessly. We knew right away that Bear Creek was going to be where we would start the next chapter of our lives together. Everyone who has been through the wedding planning process knows that it is simultaneously so fun and so stressful. However, Travis and the entire Bear Creek team made so much of the planning process a breeze. They provided a list of vendors that we could refer to for picking different vendors (though we were not required to choose from their listing), they were always quick to respond to email questions, there to provide encouragement and support through laughter and tears, and were very flexible and made every effort to make our vision come to life. Every member of staff, from the hotel front desk with Laura to Anthony and the serving staff at the tasting and later on to our rehearsal and wedding day, everyone was so accomodating and never made us feel like we were asking too much of them. The morning of, we were a bit nervous about the weather which was out of our control, but Travis and his team watched closely and communicated with us throughout the day to provide his expert opinion on where we should hold our ceremony. He kept us calm and was very helpful, and while we were able to have our ceremony outside, we know that it would have been just as beautiful if we had to make the decision to have it inside. The Bear Creek team did a fantastic job with setting everything up, and we were truly blown away by how amazing every little detail was, giving the perfect elegant but warm-and-fuzzy balance we wanted to provide for our guests (seriously, I could not stop crying at how beautiful everything looked). Travis Whitaker was the mastermind behind pulling off the magic for our special day, and Bre and Aimee were amazing with helping set everything up and make sure the bridal party was ready to go. We could not have asked for a better venue and team, and our guests are STILL raving about the amazing food, the kind staff around the entire resort, and the gorgeous but cozy atmosphere of the Lodge and Bear Creek as a whole. We recommend Bear Creek Mountain Resort to anyone looking for a venue that has a fun atmosphere any time of year, fantastic food, and most importantly - a place that gives you the confidence to know that the staff treats you as family and will make every effort to make sure your big day is everything you dreamed of and more.

ur wedding guests easily travel from our wedding reception to the after party, but they could also enjoy the well-kept grounds and activities such as hiking, disc golf, and pickleball. Our wedding coordinator, Aimee, made our day-of wedding plans all come together seamlessly. I truly would have felt lost without all of Aimee’s assistance throughout the wedding planning process and the day of my wedding. All wedding staff (bartenders, waitstaff, hospitality staff, etc.) were helpful, professional, and quickly assisted in resolving any issues that came up on the day of the wedding. The food was delightful and timely served. Bear Creek hosted another wedding on the same day, but I never interacted or saw the other wedding occurring. It felt as if we had the resort to ourselves. I highly suggest using Bear Creek and their team for your wedding!

o one had to leave the venue if they did not want to. Aimee Whitenight was our coordinator there and she was absolutely amazing. She made sure everything went smoothly. At least as smoothly as it could go. We had a medical emergency during cocktail hour and she was so amazing. She gave a little boy a stuffed bear to keep to help keep him calm. This was a greatest act of kindness I've seen this year. He kept the bear and it goes everywhere with him now. Despite that everything else was great. The staff was amazing. The hotels are roomy and super homey. We had a jacuzzi in our room and a fireplace. The staff is super fun and friendly. We even had them on the dance floor dancing at the wedding. The food was amazing everyone loved the food. It was just a great experience. She kept everything on track and made sure everything was set up to our (mainly mine let's be honest the guys don't care haha) liking. I had very specific instructions for certain things and wanted them placed in certain places for my husband as Easter eggs for him. And they did amazing setting everything up and putting them throughout the reception. If you're looking for a rustic vibe they are so amazing and their price point doesn't destroy your bank account..

to get married there. We had the pleasure of working with two of their wedding coordinators, Aimee and Travis and WOW! They were so hands on, helpful and they really truly know what they are doing. I felt so confident going into our wedding weekend knowing we were in the best hands. They really gave us the wedding of our dreams and the day ran so smoothly. The staff at Bear Creek was amazing as well, they were so sweet, personable and on top of things before you could even think of it. Our guests were blown away with the venue, the staff, the food and just everything overall! We highly recommend Bear Creek for any getaway during anytime of year, but most importantly having your wedding!

eception, after party, and lodging. Our day ran SO smoothly and perfect from start to finish! Resort staff set everything up beautifully/exactly as I wanted. I even had a box of miscellaneous decor I didn't quite know what to do with, and our coordinator Aimee had a great artistic eye to fit it all in amidst everything! Aimee was an amazing coordinator - she put us at such ease with how helpful, organized, and knowledgeable/experienced she is! The food was AMAZING - guests were raving. They were SUPER flexible with the food/drink packages (e.g., one of the entrees we loved at the tasting wasn't one of the available options on our package - they allowed us to include it with a small upcharge per person). Staff cleaned up everything at the end of the night and took great care to put away and re-box/organize decor - made it really easy to pick up the next day. A few MINOR negatives - - The bridal suite for getting ready was a little small. I had me, 6 bridesmaids, my mom, hairstylist, and makeup artist in the room (so 10 total) - I'd say any more than 12 would make it uncomfortably cramped. - Hotel rooms were pretty pricey (starting ~$240 if I recall correctly) which deterred some guests from staying over. - Hotel check-in was not until 4:00 (which would have potentially been an issue if our ceremony was 4:00 rather than 5:30) - HOWEVER mostly everyone's rooms were available way earlier so it ended up being a non-issue for us. - There were 2 bars set up in the cocktail hour space (that were also active during the reception) - guests had to wait a pretty long time in line for drinks during cocktail hour.
