Very unique and casual venue! I had so many guests tell me it was the most fun and laid back wedding they had been to! It really captured the quaint backyard vibe that we were hopi...
ng for. Kelly and Diana provide just the right amount of planning services and they knew exactly how to run their show with no hiccups. I was so impressed with all the little details they did to make Bayarts beautiful. All of the furniture is handmade by them and really well done. If you are looking for a venue with no stress and seamless production with not an ounce of drama this is it! They did all of the communication with the caterer, as he was one of their preferred vendors, which was great. (Thyme Catering). I also loved that we didn't have to bring anything beyond our flowers in vases to decorate, although we could have chosen to drop them off and use their vases, which would have been even easier. We were lucky enough to have amazing weather in July, but I could see this venue being problematic if it was super hot as most of the action happens outside. They do offer air conditioning on the inside though.
BAYarts is in a perfect location right across from Huntington Beach. The staff, in particular Diana and Kelly, are awesome and made our day run so smoothly. They were very responsi...
ve to our questions and concerns during the planning process and made sure that what we wanted in our big day was included. The space is just absolutely amazing and really needs minimal decor. Our guests continue to tell us what an amazing time they had and how comfortable they all felt. Would highly recommend working with them for your wedding or other events.
We had our ceremony and reception here and loved it! We loved the space, but were worried about the flow of the wedding in such a unique space. Diana and Kelly planned everything s...
o well, and Diana was super helpful during the wedding! She is so organized and took care of everything. The space was beautiful and they made it stress-free for us! We couldn't imagine a better experience with our venue!
We had an intimate ceremony, followed by a cocktail hour here in September 2015. The event staff was lovely to work with; they were responsive to my emails and flexible. They also ...
added nice touches, such as putting mums near the "altar."
The reason for such a low overall rating is because the space isn't properly cleaned, in particular the upstairs, where they recommend you get ready before the ceremony. Their failure to clean the dark brown paint on their floor, resulted in me staining the bottom of my dress and shoes. The only saving grace was that I didn't sit in it, and it was mostly on the inside of my dress. This added stress is not something anyone should deal with before walking down the aisle. Maybe I would feel differently, if I had received an apology from them after the event, but I never heard a peep. Also worth noting, anyone wearing heels, be prepared for them to get caught between the boards on the deck.
If you get ready somewhere else, and arrive by limo, then I would say that this is a nice place to hold your ceremony. Until they can offer a "green room" that isn't used as an art classroom, I would proceed with caution.
The house itself was amazing. You didn't need to decorate as it decorated itself. The staff was out of this world! They did all of the set up and break down for us and took their...
time to meet with us on several occasions to help us with our vision. People came up to us after the wedding and told us they either didn't know about the space but LOVED it or that they would be looking into it for their event. The Fuller House and their staff are worth it and they come highly recommended from my husband and I. It was the best venue and location for us.
Very unique venue. Host is amazing. She adds all the little touches that make it absolutely gorgeous.
