Bat City Beats

friends and lean more toward fun and energetic throwbacks with big drops when we want to bust a move. After a few meetings with Anna, she captured our preferences effortlessly throughout cocktail hour, dinner and the reception. I kid you not when I say that the dance floor was packed all night, friends and family bust out moves I didn't know they had in them, and everyone had a dang good time. All of this thanks to Anna's talent and ability to read the room. She had quick transitions that kept us on our toes, and timed songs perfectly according to whoever may have been singing along. We received many compliments about Anna. Many people were impressed by how committed to her craft she was whenever she was in the DJ booth, and her liveliness and fun personality whenever she would join us on the dance floor or MC throughout the night. When it comes to DJ's, Anna is clearly one of the best. We feel lucky that we stumbled upon her for our wedding, and plan to attend any future festivals she may be playing at. Thank you Anna!

ng us after the event specifically to tell us our DJ was incredible. Neema was great at reading the crowd and adjusting the music & vibes on the fly, and has the best transitions across very different genres.

he dance floor was packed the *entire* night — and not just for a few songs here and there. He read the room perfectly, kept the energy high, and created such a fun, electric atmosphere that no one wanted to sit down. He was playful, energetic, and brought such a joyful presence that added to the overall vibe of the celebration. We also held a fashion show during our reception (because why not?!), and DJ Sway completely understood the assignment. He enhanced the fun ambiance with the perfect music and timing, making it feel dynamic, stylish, and unforgettable. It was one of the highlights of the night, and his music choices were a huge part of that. Throughout the planning process, he was incredibly kind, sweet, patient, and encouraging. He shared so many helpful tips about how to use music intentionally to create specific atmospheres for each part of the evening — from ceremony to cocktails to full-on dance party. His guidance made a huge difference and helped everything flow seamlessly. Our ceremony transitions were smooth and beautifully executed, and he made sure our first dance and parent dances were absolutely flawless. Every cue was perfect. We never once had to worry. We decided to add the “Dancing on Clouds” effect for our first dance, and it truly elevated the moment to something out of a dream. The low-lying clouds created the most romantic, cinematic atmosphere — it honestly felt like we were floating. Our guests were in absolute awe, and it turned an already special moment into something unforgettable. We also hired a saxophonist through Bat City Beats, and the pairing between the two of them was outstanding. The live sax layered over DJ Sway’s tracks created such a unique and high-energy experience. They worked together effortlessly, and it truly took the party to the next level. We also have to give a huge shoutout to Tammy, the Operations Manager at Bat City Beats. She truly went above and beyond to make our planning experience an absolute breeze. She responded lightning-fast to every email, navigated our questions with ease, and made us feel completely supported from beginning to end. Her organization and professionalism made the entire process smooth and stress-free. And on top of all of that — their pricing simply can’t be beat for the level of service, talent, and production you receive. The value is incredible. If you’re considering DJ Sway and Bat City Beats — do it. They are professional, talented, organized, and genuinely wonderful humans who know exactly how to throw an unforgettable party. We are so grateful!

again if we have an event that requires a DJ.

le process and made our wedding day so special! DJ Neema did such a great job, and we highly recommend Bat City Beats to anyone looking for a talented and reliable DJ!

with song ideas/questions, but owning it completely and nailing it. Him + Bat City Beats were very communicative, helpful, and wonderful to work with along the way. 10/10 - no notes!!

energy was lively and she even helped with the flow of the event day where my day of coordinator was not able to help with! I would hire her again for my next event should I have one!

ern music, and DJ Neema absolutely KILLED IT. Every single friend of ours was on the dance floor absolutely tearing it up for the entire evening (even some of the older crowd danced the whole night). We had a conga line, my husband and I got to crowdsurf, and it was the absolute best party we had ever been to. I was worried that we would have too much dancing time, and that the party would fizzle out, but it never did!!! DJ Neema played banger after banger and really effortlessly mixed all the music– his talent is super apparent. I also want to call out how wonderful he is at MC-ing– he had great transitions, hyped up the crowd for our entrance, and made clever jokes the whole night. I wish we could have our wedding all over again just to have Neema DJ one more time! The process with Bat City Beats was also super wonderful– Tammy who handles all the preparation is just the loveliest person and went above and beyond in every way to make our experience the best possible. Any time I had questions or needed to hop on the phone, she was super prompt in replying and so kind. Working with Bat City Beats was so easy and I would recommend DJ Neema to any bride any day hundreds of times over!!!

p as we wanted. Kiki/Anna was absolutely amazing, could not have asked for a better DJ!

all our special songs (our entrance, first dance, and parent dances), and also created two incredible 20-minute mixes for our band - one hip-hop and one more pop-focused and completely nailed the vibe for each. Communication was great. We emailed, texted, and had a kickoff call to make sure we were aligned, and he checked in throughout the process to confirm we were good with the direction. He delivered everything ahead of our deadline, added creative touches, and was genuinely invested in making everything perfect. The final mixes are awesome, and we are so excited to use them at our wedding!! Considering how well he nailed the mixes, we can only imagine how awesome his DJ sets are! Highly, highly recommend Neema for weddings or any event where you want to nail the vibe. We would absolutely work with him again!

r LIFE! He kept the flow perfect, from the ceremony, cocktail hour, an awesome introduction of our wedding party, dinner, and dancing! He was seriously so much fun and a true DJ. Also, planning the music with him before was a breeze because he’s a pro. He had the best recommendations, even down to the perfect “last dance” song to end the night for the whole wedding. We had 250 people at our wedding and there was people of all ages, and he was able to bring everyone out on the dance floor with his awesome flow of song choices to target literally everyone! Lastly, the bat city beats management is very attentive and responsive to any questions you have via email/phone. We could not recommend Aaron and Bat City Beats enough!!!!

e took the time to create playlists for each part of the wedding, Neema did an amazing job mixing and adding complementary music to what we put together. He's one of kind and certainly provided great energy. You're the man, Neema!  We received a ton of feedback from our guests how impressed they were with the music experience throughout. The sound, lighting, mics, and Glam Photo Booth were top tier.  Tammy was an absolute gem to work with. She's got an amazing personality and provided great service throughout to ensure everything went without a hitch the day of.  Don't think twice about using Bat City Beats for your wedding/event!

er dropped and everyone stayed on the dance floor all night long! In fact, my videographer and photographer stated that they have never seen a grand exit line so long and that was truly because DJ Neema kept the vibes up all night long and everyone on the dance floor! I can’t thank Bat City Beats for making my wedding night so perfect!!! I would recommended them to anyone and everyone!!!

that word lightly). The Wedding From the very beginning, I knew we were in good hands. The team immediately said, “Oh, we’ve worked at Malverde before. Easy setup.” And it was. They coordinated seamlessly with our other vendors, and everything went off without a hitch. The MC was outstanding. He knew exactly how to read the room, brought the perfect energy, and genuinely seemed excited to celebrate with us. He had the right jokes at the right moments, got everyone moving when it was time to dance, and pulled things back at the perfect times too. The sound during our vows was flawless—clear, balanced, and emotional without being overpowering. The music cues were timed perfectly: walking down the aisle, the fadeouts, the transitions… smooth as butter. These guys are true pros who clearly love what they do. They also ran our photobooth and didn’t just set it up. They hyped it up, got everyone involved, and made sure we had an incredible collection of fun, candid shots with all of our family and friends. It wasn’t just a booth; it was another way they helped build the experience. The After Party And then… the after party. When we first started planning, they asked me: “Do you want a great party or do you want an experience?” My response: “This is once in a lifetime. Let’s make it an experience.” And wow, did they deliver. They came out beforehand, scoped the venue, and built the exact setup needed to turn our space into a full-on EDM show. Strategic lighting, legit lasers, booming sound that filled the room with deep bass and crystal-clear highs—it was everything we imagined and more. Neema, one of their DJs (highly recommend), kicked things off with the perfect vibe, and Bat City Beats provided all the right equipment for the other DJs we brought in. Our friends haven’t stopped talking about it since. It wasn’t just a party—it was an experience we’ll never forget. Communication & Professionalism Throughout the entire process, their communication was top-tier. They answered every question I threw at them (and there were many), never once seemed annoyed, and always reassured me with, “We’ve got it. Not a problem.” And sure enough, they showed up with their full team and absolutely crushed it. Final Word If you’re still reading this and wondering if you should hire Bat City Beats, let me save you the stress: Yes. Hire them. Whether it’s sound, lighting, MC, DJ, or photobooth, this is the team you want on your side. I had zero issues. 100% positive experience. They made our wedding and after party unforgettable.

had multiple people (of all ages) tell us it was the best wedding playlist they have ever encountered!

we had. All the music throughout the wedding was perfect and the reception was the funnest I’ve ever been to. I had zero plans to dance the night away but that’s what happened! 10/10 would recommend and rebook!

s off, but Neema and his partner got some of the highest reviews of the night from our guests. Neema and Aaron were both super chill and professional leading up to the event itself and did a great job keeping the dance floor busy. I definitely recommend doing the "add a musician" package - the drummer/DJ combo is super fun and adds a lot of visual/musical interest to the party!

l (Aaron), I felt confident we’d be in a good hands especially booking the Master DJ package. While it's possible there could have been miscommunication between the DJ and our coordinator, there were several hiccups throughout the evening that unfortunately stood out. I feel these could have been avoided with better preparation and reviewing callouts discussed during the week leading up to the event. To start, from what I heard, the ceremony didn’t start as smoothly as planned—the Groom's entrance song had to be played twice, which was a bit awkward. There was also a mix-up in the order of speeches, though that wasn’t a huge deal and we were able to laugh it off. What was more disappointing, though, was how the dances were handled. The Mother/Daughter dance, which was clearly listed in the timeline (and even highlighted as a separate section in their app), was completely overlooked. We had also discussed it during our planning call. While I understand that the planning call might have been challenging for him due to finding a quiet space, it still felt like a significant detail missed. The app they used was incredibly helpful for organizing our songs, from the ceremony to the dance floor. My husband and I put a lot of effort into selecting the songs we were most excited to hear, so it was a bit disappointing when not all of them were played (to add it wasn't too long of a dance party playlist). There were times when we had to request songs or have friends ask for them to be played next. Some songs that were played weren’t familiar to us, and it felt like he might have been testing things out, though I'm not entirely sure. Additionally, a few songs were repeated (like Low by Flo Rida), which wasn’t ideal, especially since music is such an important part of the wedding experience. I’ll admit, one song was repeated due to our own oversight. We didn’t realize that we had selected a similar song for both the Father/Daughter dance and the Anniversary dance. It would have been helpful if the DJ had flagged this while reviewing our playlist, so we could’ve chosen something different. Lastly, to me personally, one of the biggest letdowns was the late-night snack moment. I had talked with Aaron specifically about tying in HOTTOGO by Chappell Roan to our hot dog snack, with a fun announcement like "get your hot dogs to go!"—especially since we had bought hot dog sleeves for it. Sadly, the song was already played earlier in the night while I was away for a dress change, and when the snack was finally mentioned, it was done in a very brief and unceremonious way: "and there's a late-night snack option available." That moment was something I had really looked forward to, and it ended up falling flat. I do appreciate the effort, and I know music is such a key part of a wedding—which is why it felt disappointing. Given the many positive reviews I had read, I’m honestly not sure why this one missed the mark, but unfortunately, it just didn’t come together the way I had hoped. Not to say it was an awful experience but it wasn’t a highlight of our wedding like anyone wants it to be.

understand our style, our vibe, and the kind of atmosphere we wanted to create—and they nailed it. Every transition was seamless, every song choice felt perfect, and they kept the energy up from the very first song to the final dance of the night. They read the room effortlessly and curated a playlist that had everyone on the dance floor—young, old, and everyone in between. It was so much more than just playing music; they created an unforgettable experience that felt like us. They even made sure to include a few fun surprises that had our guests raving long after the wedding was over. Beyond their talent, they were so kind, responsive, and professional throughout the entire planning process. We felt completely supported and in good hands the entire time. Thank you for helping make our wedding day so magical and memorable. You truly brought the party to life—and then some! With so much gratitude, Bailey and Casey EVANS <3

ting add on's. Neema was an incredibly fun DJ, I can't begin to tell all the compliments we received about the reception!

completely because he had great ideas, asked the best questions to get to know our preferences and our guest demographics, and was overall very knowledgable about what the crowd wanted to hear. Everything was customized to our tastes and it was great. He played everything we wanted and then some — it was a GREAT party! Bat City also provided us a portal to upload our favorite songs and it was super easy to navigate.

off from what I had asked for and put into the suggested play list and Neema even made some suggestions that helped make my list that much better! Can't recommend him enough!

about making our day special. We had DJ A-Wall, and we cannot recommend him enough!! We asked him for a mix of American/Persian/Arabic/Latin songs for Persian wedding, and he KILLED IT!! He had a selection of carefully curated songs, and was able to adjust the music depending on the mood to ensure we were dancing all night long. Everyone had the best time, and I’ve heard from many friends that it was one of the best reception thanks to DJ A-Wall. We also booked the Photo Booth through them, and loved the pricing/selection of backdrops available. Our guests loved the photo booth and we appreciated all the options Bat City had available for add ons! We will be recommending Bat City Beats to all of our friends and family, and will definitely book them again for any future events. Thank you for making our wedding so special!!

g choices kept the energy high and the dance floor packed the entire time. Not only was he an incredible DJ, but also a fantastic MC—he made our grand entrance unforgettable, hyping up the crowd and creating an exciting atmosphere that carried through the night. He also set up uplights and dance floor lighting, which elevated the whole look and feel of our venue. Everything was seamless and professional. DJ Neema is talented, personable, and knows exactly how to keep the party going. So many of our friends and family came up to us while we were dancing and told us that our DJ was awesome! We highly recommend him and Bat City Beats for any event!

or type of songs for later in the night. DJ Gsharp did a great job at mixing up the song choices while still doing his best to pull from our personal playlist. The dancefloor was alive throughout the night which all we could ask for!!

estions, even when we made changes last minute.

Neema is very knowledgeable, and he knows exactly what to play and when to play it, he knows how to keep the dance floor active at all times with a great variety of songs. All guests had a fantastic time. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to work with them, and highly recommend their services for any type of event.

ol, I worked in weddings for 17 years and Neema was one of the best DJs I have encountered. He also provided the lighting and sax to make the event spectacular and helped with planning. 100% recommended.

GREAT. DJ Neema did an awesome job getting the party started and keeping it going strong through the night; so many people commented about how awesome the music was and wanted to know how we found Neema :D --thank you Neema!

ss was energizing and he made sure we could fully envision the events of the day. While some things were changed on the fly the day-of (not that we even noticed), we felt that we ended up with the best experience for everybody in attendance. Would highly suggest Bat City Beats and DJ A-Wall for any Austin wedding.

d the guests had a great time! My husband and I loved looking through all of the photos and we will cherish the memories from our special day! Thank you so much, Greg! It truly was the best day of our lives and we appreciate all your handwork in making our day absolutely perfect!

You can not go wrong with hiring this amazing team from Bat City Beats So many great additional things you can add to the package too. We did the Photo Booth and it was a total hit with the guests! was one of our biggest goals - he made sure we succeeded in this!!!!). He not only played songs available on Spotify/Apple Music but also some of our requested remixes (and father/daughter dance song) that were only available on YouTube. He knew how to get the crowd hyped and he also took requests off the cuff during the reception. Thank you so much, Greg. We are so grateful to you for giving us the absolute best dance party of our lives with all of our favorite people!!!!! — Tyler & Emma

y important to us. Historically, we’ve found wedding DJs to be subpar. Between the poor choice in songs and the lack of beat matching ability, we‘ve always had critiques about the DJs when we attend weddings. From the initial consultation to the wedding day itself, DJ Neema was dedication to making the musical experience authentic and meaningful. Initially, we interviewed two DJs and DJ Neema stood out with his impeccable mix that seamlessly blended our eclectic music tastes, from Houston rap to Bollywood hits. On the wedding day, he worked his magic, keeping the dance floor alive the entire time — keep in mind that this was a daytime and a completely dry wedding! His ability to read the crowd and curate the perfect vibe for the event was truly impressive. When it started sprinkling, neither our guests nor DJ Neema wanted to stop so with the help from some friends, they constructed a cover for DJ Neema’s set up with a table cloth and dry cleaning plastic and kept the party going! Just incredible. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ to make our wedding day unforgettable. We wholeheartedly recommend DJ Neema to anyone looking for a musical maestro who goes above and beyond to make your special day truly yours.

r all night. We had so much fun. We chose the photobooth and cold sparks as our add-on's. We loved seeing everyone's pictures after and the cold sparks were a great touch to our entrance and first dance. We even got compliments from our bar and other vendors that we had the best/fun music! They were also great with communication throughout the whole process. Book them!

nd he played the portions of the songs we requested. The lighting they provided was also wonderful and fun for our wedding. It was colorful without being overpowering. The Photo booth was also incredible, everyone had a great time taking photos with the props!!

pleased and highly recommend Bat City Beats.

going to have a blast. He worked with us to get the music just right and helped us with suggestions and recommendations when needed. My husband decided to sing for me and Neema mixed the song so the vocals were faintly in the background so he didn't forget the lyrics. We got the cold sparks and he used them all throughout the night to amp up the energy and had them ready for our sparkler exit to take it to the next level. Everyone kept telling us how much fun the music was and Neema even provided us with the songs played so we could create a playlist and remember how much fun we had. Highly recommend!

and we knew he was meant to be our DJ; we couldn’t stop grooving at the table. Aaron brought the party and the hype to our wedfest and all of our guests danced the night away; I never saw an empty dance floor and received so many compliments from the guests. He made sure to play our requested songs when we were available and able to dance which made my night. My favorite part was when I was just about to walk down the aisle, Aaron was jamming out to my aisle-walk song on the side just hyping me up. It took the nerves away and made me so excited. He’s such a professional and knows how to talk to and work a crowd. Bat City Beats (DJ A-Wal) is HIGHLY recommended.
