Barefoot Bridal

so helpful. We told her exactly what we wanted in a resort and she gave us all our options. When it came to managing our guests, barefoot bridal did everything! Their response time was very quick and they were very helpful for our guests. The website they create is amazing and very easy to navigate. I would 100% recommend Barefoot Bridal to any bride considering a destination wedding!

sts and confusing packages on my own until I found Barefoot Bridal. They completely turned our planning experience around. They kicked things off with an incredible intake call to understand our vision. They took total charge of the process right away, handling all the initial outreach to various resorts and filtering through the options for us. Their expert advice during our search was invaluable, and they ultimately guided us to choose Secrets/Dreams Playa Esmeralda for our May 2026 wedding. During that initial call, they walked us through the entire room block and contract process. One of the biggest reliefs was how they handled the contract logistics—specifically ensuring that any unused rooms would be handed back to the resort in a timely manner. Having that financial stress completely off my plate was priceless. Barefoot Bridal also saved us a ton of money by securing amazing incentives for our room blocks and flights. When you are planning a destination wedding, every single bit helps, and they maximize your budget. They communicate directly with the resorts to get upfront, honest pricing breakdowns so you aren't surprised by hidden fees later for things like DJs or decor. I cannot recommend them enough if you want a seamless, stress-free planning experience!

pt responses whenever we had a question or concern. A special shout-out to Diana, who went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect! Their communication and professionalism are unmatched. Highly recommend!!!

er picked up the phone or reach back. Luckly, I found Barefootbridal and within no time they assisted me selecting resorts, getting quotes and even creating an Spanish website for my family! I would totally recommend their services to any soon to be wife out there.

room blocks, and they made the entire process feel seamless and stress-free. From the very beginning, they were incredibly attentive, professional, and genuinely cared about making sure both we and our guests had the best experience possible. What truly stood out was their communication and responsiveness. No matter how many questions came up from us or our guests, Sharon and her team were always just a phone call or email away. They stayed on top of every detail and continued checking in with us all the way up until right before the trip. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing we had such a reliable and supportive team helping us every step of the way. I would recommend Sharon and the Barefoot Bridals team 1000 times over to any couple planning a destination wedding or group trip. Their dedication, organization, and level of care exceeded all of our expectations. Thank you, Sharon, for everything you did to make our wedding experience so special and unforgettable!

ts for a living, so have very high standards and Sharon and her team not only met, but exceeded them! I was able to entrust them with all of the travel planning details for all of our guests, which made things so much easier on end, and freed up so much of my time and mental energy! From my very first call with Sharon, owner of Barefoot Bridal, I felt heard and supported. She and her team provided a level of service unmatched by the other destination wedding travel agents I had come across: they managed the entire communication and booking process with the Wedding Department of our selected resort, set up a dedicated booking site for all of our wedding guests, and managed all reservations inclusive of resort bookings AND transportation. During the planning process I learned that this level of support is not standard in the travel agent world - many other brides at my resort had to spend a lot of time and energy helping guests with airport transportation, room bookings, and reservation issues. I on the other hand, never once had to manage, or even communicate with guests about the details of their stay, and on more than one occasion, Barefoot Bridal helped our guests modify reservations in one case even after our group code had expired (truly going above and beyond to work with the resort to help my guests with the needed arrangements). I had ZERO stress when it came to my guest's experience leading up to the wedding because I knew everyone was being so well taken care of! The Barefoot Bridal team is also extremely responsive and professional. They know the industry well and Sharon was able to advise me on several questions I had both during the resort selection process and also the wedding planning process. I highly highly recommend hiring Barefoot Bridal for your destination wedding. It is a free service (you pay a deposit upfront that is fully refunded once the wedding occurs) that will make your wedding planning process so much easier and smoother leading up to the wedding itself, and even once you have arrived at your resort!

another bride getting married at the same resort, I switched to Barefoot Bridal, and it was the best decision I made. My consultant, Diana, was kind, patient, and extremely professional. She took the time to explain everything in detail and was always available. The team was very accommodating and went above and beyond to honor my requests. They even credited the deposit I lost with my previous agency so I could use it toward my room reservation, which made the transition seamless. Their customer service was awesome for both me and my guests, and they kept everyone informed throughout the process. Although there was an issue with airport transfers upon my arrival in the Dominican Republic, it was resolved immediately. They apologized, refunded us, and included thoughtful gifts for the inconvenience. While no experience is ever perfect, I was very happy overall and would absolutely recommend them. Book with Barefoot Bridal and ask for Diana!

. I really recommend working with them. It took the hotel hassle off of my plate.

e difficult to know which resorts to consider and how to manage all the details needed to get your guests there. Barefoot Bridal made me feel like my destination wedding dreams were truly possible and supported us every step of the way. Once they helped us choose our wedding location, they ensured all travel details were coordinated from start to finish. They answered mine and my guests’ questions promptly and were extremely helpful in coordinating shuttles and room accommodations. I HIGHLY recommend working with Barefoot Bridal for your destination wedding—it’s an absolute must!

ing them, I spoke with several different travel agent companies while trying to figure out the best fit for our wedding. Barefoot Bridal definitely stood out right away. They were more responsive, more organized, and really seemed to understand what couples need when planning a destination wedding. Our agent, Diana, was absolutely incredible to work with. She was always quick to respond, extremely knowledgeable, and so patient with all of the questions that come up when you're coordinating travel for a large group. Having Diana handle everything gave me so much peace of mind throughout the planning process. Barefoot Bridal created a simple booking website for our guests, which made reserving rooms and making payments really easy. The payment plan option was also a huge plus and made the trip much more manageable for many of our guests. Diana also helped coordinate airport transfers for everyone, which made arrivals and departures at the resort smooth and stress-free. Another huge benefit is that Barefoot Bridal’s services were completely free for us as the couple. Diana also helped us qualify for both the resort incentives and additional Barefoot Bridal incentives, which helped offset the cost of our own room. I’m so grateful we chose Barefoot Bridal, and especially grateful that we had Diana helping us through the process. I would absolutely recommend Barefoot Bridal to any couple planning a destination wedding.

went above and beyond to make sure our guests had a great experience. Along with travel services and resort bookings, Sharon connected me with a local planner and other providers to help me plan events like a welcome party. I can't recommend Barefoot Bridal enough!!

ionally, and they assisted all of our guests with every single need. Special shoutout to Mauricio—he’s the best—and to Sharon, the owner. They are truly amazing people. Transportation to the resort was seamless and even arranged in luxury vehicles. We received so many compliments on how professional our travel agent was, and I will absolutely be recommending Barefoot Bridal to all future destination brides. Thank you, Barefoot Bridal!

Their team was responsive and knowledgeable about destination weddings, which made planning from afar much easier. Because of their support, everything came together beautifully. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful. They also offered great perks as part of the Barefoot Bride experience, which added value to the overall planning and travel arrangements. Overall, we appreciated Barefoot Bridal’s support in helping make our destination wedding a beautiful and memorable experience.

t Bridal. From that very first conversation, everything finally clicked. She explained the entire process so clearly, she was patient, and the fact that she’s bilingual made communication seamless for me, my family, and the resort. Even though my wedding isn’t until July 2026, I already feel incredibly supported and taken care of. Their entire team has been amazing. Whenever I email their groups inbox, I get a response quickly, and they even have a hotline where my guests or I can call and speak with someone directly. That alone gives so much peace of mind. Barefoot Bridal also built a custom website for my guests where they can easily book their room, upload their travel details for transportation, and view their invoices all in one place. On top of that, we have our own special login where we can see exactly who has booked so far, how many nights they’re staying, and what type of room they chose. It’s incredibly organized. What I love most is that I feel in control, fully aware of every detail — yet Barefoot Bridal is the one doing all of the heavy lifting behind the scenes. They’ve made destination-wedding planning not only stress-free, but truly enjoyable. I am so grateful I found Diana and the Barefoot Bridal team right before I was about to give up. If you’re planning a destination wedding, I cannot recommend them enough. Their professionalism, warmth, and system of support have already exceeded every expectation — and the wedding hasn’t even happened yet.

istened to my preferences and immediately sent over resort options that perfectly matched our vision. She set up our room blocks with ease and answered every single question I had along the way (and there were plenty!). The communication was always timely, clear, and reassuring. Planning a wedding from afar can feel overwhelming, but Diana and the Barefoot Bridal team made it feel effortless.  Every step of the process was smooth, professional, and genuinely enjoyable. I can’t recommend Barefoot Bridal and Diana enough for anyone planning a destination wedding. They truly made our dream wedding possible.

price for us & guests, vibe, etc. She also informed us of perks like getting flights paid for and cash back depending on rooms booked. She helped us decide on our location, block the rooms, create a wedding website for guest to book, and arrange transportation. Truthfully everything felt taken care of and the only decisions left to make were the “fun” ones of the wedding day. The team is quick to respond and helpful when any issues arise. We highly highly recommend.

24/7 and help me with planing as well.

re process so smooth — handling our room block, guest bookings, and even coordinating transportation for nearly 100 guests (which is no small task!). What stood out the most was their kindness, patience, and genuine care for everyone involved. They were always responsive, understanding, and human, which made all the difference during such a busy (and emotional!) time. Our guests couldn’t stop complimenting how seamless everything felt, and that’s 100% thanks to the Barefoot Bridal team. If you’re planning a destination wedding and want a travel partner who truly cares — Barefoot Bridal is it.

ub!  Barefoot Bridal went above and beyond to make our destination wedding stress-free and perfectly organized. Their services were completely free, which was incredible considering the amount of help and attention they provided — truly amazing value for our money! They worked within our budget needs and made the entire planning process effortless. From creating a custom guest website to coordinating airport transfers and communicating with the hotel, they handled every detail with professionalism, kindness, and genuine care. The Barefoot Bridal team was always positive, responsive, and so easy to work with. I’ve already referred three friends to them because I was so impressed. If you’re planning a destination wedding, I can’t recommend Barefoot Bridal enough!

ed to Barefoot bridal by a coworking who was also planning their destination wedding. My husband and I wanted a tropical wedding, and I wanted it in a gazebo. Those were the two big factors for us. On our first phone call with Sharon, we went over our dream wedding details and our budget and she worked her magic with location options. We were looking to have the wedding in Dominican Republic August 2025. Sharon gave us the pricing and had us think about any other locations that did not have a hurricane season. She brought up Curacao. Not knowing where Curacao was, we looked at what she sent us and fell in love with Dreams Curacao Resort Spa & Casino. From there details and room blocks were easy. Sharon took care of everything and was so quick to answer emails I sent. Dreams the resort, was nice. Not a super fancy resort but it was quite low key and perfect for what we were looking for. The staff were very nice and helpful. The wedding coordinator who helped me in the process was great. He would take a little longer to get back to my emails during some points but nothing that stressed me out. Sometimes details get lost in email and if that was the case Sharon was quick to reply with the answer and would resent the initial email. That was amazing. Everything we had in mind for our wedding came true. We were able to add everything and more. Every detail came out exactly how I pictured and more. I was truly blown away on how everything came together perfectly. I DIYed a few things and the resort and coordinator were great in setting everything up how I wanted and never complained or gave me any issues. The day of the wedding went so smoothly I was surprised. The hair and makeup people were ready and on time knocking on my room door. They were fast and were able to take care of my whole wedding party and our moms. The wedding coordinator kept checking on myself and my husband throughout the morning and having room service drop off fruits, dessert and champagne. The photographer was on time and on point as well. 15 Minutes before our ceremony in the gazebo, it started to pour down rain. The coordinator came to check on me and said once the rain stopped, he was personally going to go dry all the seats. Him and the staff did such a great job drying everything off including mopping up puddles through the resort. By the time I went down, I couldn’t tell it rained. The rest of the night was perfect. Everything went as I wanted and planned.  I truly felt like a princess. The food at the resort was good and they had a lot of options. The rooms were nice and clean. I had no issues. The overall staff was amazing to all my guests and myself. We were treated so well. The suite we had during our stay was beautiful and had an amazing view. Overall, the planning process is always a little stressful but working with barefoot bridal eased my stress to much. The reservations’ part was taken care of, my guests could email them for questions or to adjust their stays and I didn’t have to worry. The experience and professionalism they have to make sure you get everything you want on your special day is amazing. They work hard to make sure you get everything you want for your special day.

e planning process. Diana helped us pick the perfect resort, set up an easy booking system for our guests, and handled every detail—room blocks, flights, transfers, you name it—with total professionalism and grace. Our guests constantly told us how seamless everything felt. What made her truly special, though, was her responsiveness and empathy. As a past destination bride herself, she really understood what we were going through. No question was too small, and she was always just a quick message away.

rather than them. They are extremely responsive, helpful, insightful, flexible, professional, and all around amazing people! Planning a wedding can feel like a rollercoaster and choosing people you can trust is a must! I had no clue who to go to and felt very overwhelmed at the start of the planning process but I’m so glad I trusted my gut and put my groups travel coordination in their hands! My agent was Diana and she was soo sweet and was always just a text away! She helped me from choosing a resort to making the millions of changes and adjustments we needed throughout the process. She even helped talk me through and gave me support about a last minute venue change! Do yourself a favor and trust them for your destination wedding! You won’t regret it! Had the wedding of my dreams <3

information we did not have when it comes to traveling to different resorts. They are quick and responsive, always willing to answer my questions & transparent with all communication. They really take the stress away from managing traveling arrangements and payments for guests. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a destination wedding travel agency!!!

ng a resort was spot in, she kept our wants and needs in mind and was able to suggest several resorts to keep our guests' budgets in mind. Once we chose the Fives, Sharon was able communicate with the resort to get everything set up and made it easy on us to just plan the wedding. Our guests worked with Barefoot Bridal to book rooms and schedule shuttles, and they handled everything. The best part was the Promos that Barefoot Bridal offered, making our wedding more affordable. I would highly recommend Sharon, she was great. There are tons of destination wedding travel agents but do yourself a favor and book Barefoot Bridal.

left, and I was switched during the process, I was worried about things being overlooked, but I’m happy to say everything went smoothly with no mistakes. The communication and professionalism from Barefoot Bridal were top-notch. I highly recommend them to any couple planning a destination wedding. We had a small issue with a guest's reservation, which was actually the hotel’s fault, not Barefoot’s, but Sharon, the owner, took immediate action and resolved it without hesitation. I wholeheartedly recommend Sharon—her pride in her company is evident in everything she does!

with me, and gave me great advice. Everything ran very smoothly and we never had to worry about communication with the resort, or any issues with the hotel or transportation. Everything was handled very professionally. We would love to recommend them to all future newlyweds!

of each guest’s trip to my wedding, but their team handled it all well. They were always SUPER responsive and patient, even when I bombarded them with emails asking the same questions because I was confused. They never made me feel like a bother and were always happy to clarify things and make sure everything was clear. Not only did they handle the booking for my trip and my guests’ trips, but we also coordinated a fishing trip through their team and arranged transportation to and from the airport in the Dominican Republic for our guests. Everything went off without a hitch, thanks to their expertise and dedication. If you’re planning a destination wedding and need a team that’s knowledgeable, friendly, and incredibly responsive, I highly recommend Barefoot Bridal. They made our experience so much smoother and stress-free!

ions and concerns, as well as those of my guests. Their outstanding service and attention to detail truly made a difference. I highly recommend Barefoot Bridal to any bride, whether planning an intimate gathering or a grand celebration!

ent at the hotel. They have been great coordinating and on negotiating the best deals and rates for the couple. Thanks Diana for all your continued support!

and was connected with Diana. Now it’s honestly been a breeze and a lot less stressful as Diana sent me resorts to review, has been my communicator with the resorts, made room blocking super easy. She really helped me out a lot and continues to answer all of my 1 million questions in a timely manner, LOL. Definitely recommend reaching out to Diana or the other barefoot representatives to assist with your wedding travel. I’ll leave further reviews once we’re closer to the wedding! 2026 June.

p and her team have consistently been professional, responsive, and patient in answering my countless questions. The booking process was easy thanks to the personalized website they created for our group, and they handled all travel-related communications with our guests. I never needed to get involved except for following up with a few guests about submitting their flight information for airport transfers, which is completely understandable. This definitely made my life easier during the wedding planning process! Before our trip, they sent us and our guests a guide to our resort along with our travel documents, which was a nice touch. I even received a cute gift package, and we received some awesome concessions such as cash back and free flights. Working with Barefoot Bridal was so smooth, and we would recommend them to anyone planning a destination wedding!

as so patient and helpful in helping me to simplify it and to make the right choice. Her communication was speedy and brought a lot of comfort to me. Having done everything else in my own it was nice not having to worry about our family and friends and getting them the right accommodations. I had to step in only a couple of times but all went great!

essional, knowledgeable, and quick to respond to messages. Sharon helped me pick the perfect location/ resort within my budget and guests budget. Guests then used barefoot bridal to book their rooms. There were no issues with rooms booked and transportation. Barefoot Bridal answered any of my guests questions/concerns, which took stress off of me. I had multiple guests compliment how good Barefoot Bridal was. The resort and wedding was amazing; 10/10 experience. We now have multiple guests interested in a destination wedding after attending our wedding, so I'd say it was a success!

tions, to booking my site visit tours, to giving me hotel recommendations, and even honeymoon recommendations!! Sharon was also so kind and professional and literally answered so fast!!! I’ll never forget I emailed her a question at 10:50 PM, and I had a response from her by 10:53 PM!!! Without her, I would be completely lost. Booking a destination wedding is already stressful enough, so having someone to help you is a game changer. My favorite thing about Barefoot Bridal is that they all have personally had destination weddings! So they totally understand! I cannot recommend them enough and I will forever be so grateful for all their help. I couldn’t have done this without them!

er job were evident from the start. Her attention to detail and dedication to making my trip smooth sailing puts me at ease. I am so impressed with her that I'm already planning to write another review after my wedding in June. I highly recommend Sharon and Barefoot Bridal to anyone looking for a travel agent who genuinely cares about their clients.

as I thought it would be, there have been awesome people and vendors working behind the scenes on our behalf to make the day perfect. Our travel agent, Barefoot Bridal, is one of them and they have been answering my every question, helping our guest book their reservations and they sent me this cute little gift back in September. I thought the gifts didn’t come until it was almost time to get flown out. 🤣Would love to assist other destination wedding brides and couples in the near future. Grateful! #163daystogo

s and me, every time I spoke to her it was like speaking to a long-term friend. She went above and beyond to get us the best rate and was always available for me and my guest. I love the fact it is an all-women's agency. It is very empowering if you ask me and all the ladies were amazing, I highly recommend them to any future brides or friends.

d to do just about nothing but book my own stay. Cost me nothing, but saved me so much time and stress!

wait to leave another review once everything is over but right now, I am a happy bride!

ed a destination wedding from New York with over 100 guests without them! From the very beginning they have helped me make decisions & plans when I had no idea what to do! They are so quick to respond and helpful when they do. Someone’s always available for a call or an email back. We had some troubles in the beginning with another resort we originally picked and had to switch resorts, Carolisa helped calm my nerves and talked me off the edge! She made the switch easy and stress free. If anyone is looking to book their destination wedding absolutely pick barefootbridal as your travel agents! It wouldn’t be possible without them.

situations. They have been quick to respond, honest with me, and helpful with other aspects of wedding planning as they have been in the destination bride situation themselves. I highly recommend!!

rt for us and our guests. She created a site for our guests to book and it was very convenient. Sharon and her team respond to emails and calls very quickly and are also helpful. Our wedding was perfect and we are very grateful for the Barefoot Team and all their assistance.
