Barbra Mousouris

ths in advance. Barbra officiated a lovely, heartfelt and personal wedding ceremony. She handled all of our wishes with grace and skill. Walk, don't run! Check out www.IDoSantaBarbara.blogspot.com. She is absolutely THE BEST!

heartfelt, personal, special, and fun! She took the time to really get to know my husband I before the ceremony and even asked us some fun personal questions that she tied in perfectly to the ceremony. We knew within minutes of skyping with her that she was exactly what we were looking for. She had everyone laughing one minute, and crying the next. We continue to hear from all of our guests that it was the most beautiful wedding ceremony they have ever been to. She was a huge part of our wedding weekend and she felt like part of the family right away. We can't recommend Barbra enough! She is exactly what we were looking for and in addition to being our officiant, we also did couples counseling with her a few times before the wedding. The sessions were helpful, comfortable, and tons of fun. Barbra makes everything relaxing and stress-free, which is SO important to have for a bride/groom while they're planning a million other things around their big day. We love you Barbra! - Amy & Tim

e looking for someone to take the time to get to know you both and can find the gems of your relationship and share them with your friends and family, then Barbra is the perfect fit for you! We loved our wedding ceremony and our entire wedding event!

ple that we found online after extensive research. We were fortunate enough to find Barbra after quickly vetoing various officiants that we found on different websites; we're very picky! I emailed Barbra to get a little more information from her and she immediately responded to us. After a few messages back and forth, we set up a Skype meeting where Barbra got to know my husband and me. It was an immediate sense of relief getting to know Barbra. She took the time to learn about Max and myself; from the day we met to our families to the wedding planning process. Not only did she learn about us, she also allowed us to learn about her. The mutual relationship that formed was such a comforting feeling to have with regards to one of the most important aspects of a wedding ceremony. Through the course of the next few months we were finally able to meet with Barbra in person during a visit to CA. Once we had a face-to-face with her, we officially knew that we had made the right decision. Barbra's process in writing the ceremony was something that we felt very supported in. She took two different religions (and quite a bit of uncertainty about what we really wanted to be said during our vows; plus, last minute changes...oops!) and made it into a beautiful speech about us. She incorporated inside jokes and humor, sentimental moments and memories, and optimism and best wishes for the future. I can honestly say that my nerves subsided once Barbra started speaking; I was so invested in how she was portraying the relationship between my husband and I that the butterflies in my stomach finally calmed down. Our audience was also interested and involved; we received so many compliments afterwards about how lovely the ceremony was. Overall, it felt as though a long-time friend was our officiant and made our day so amazing. Thank you so much, Barbra! Your kindness, thoughtfulness, insight, and confidence made our day so special. Love, Kimberly & Max (and almost-here Baby Shapiro)

the second grade, I knew she would be a perfect fit!! From the moment I met her, she made me feel comfortable, she even convinced Matt to write his own vows. From start, to finish, our wedding was perfect. The ceremony was beautifully written and personalized just for us. Matt and I feel extremely lucky to have had the best officiate our wedding! We love you Barbra!!

personal touches and obvious thought she put into her work was truly appreciated. We would recommend Barbra for any couple hoping to find an officiant who can make their unforgettable day a perfect one. Our guests and our photographer had nothing but the highest praise for Barbra, and neither do we! We rate Barbra an 11 out of 10!

insights with light with humor. Our guests gushed about her at the reception and people still talk about how great she was today!

Barbara was personalized and intimate, with the perfect touch of humor, candor, and advice! She was interested in us, our story, what we loved about one another, and wanted to customize a ceremony that would reflect that. Weddings in general are unquestionably a very personal endeavor, however, this is even more the case when it comes to ceremony itself. After meeting with Barbara a couple times to share stories, get her advice on everything from ceremony to vendors, and learning what to expect, we felt incredibly comfortable with her. This was in no doubt an advantage of her personality overall, and skillset as a marriage counselor and therapist as well. When it came to the ceremony itself, we simply let her guide us along. We were able to lose ourselves in the experience and simply enjoy the moment. Of course we loved the ceremony, but afterwards we were floored by how many people came up and applauded the officiant too - even days later people were raving about Barbara! When it comes to those special moments in a wedding that you’ll reflect on later in life, and that your attendees will too, you’ll want the right officiant to help create that. For that, you’ll want Barbara Mousouris!
