Makayla was so sweet and amazing! She had three of us to make up, so we started at the hotel and moved to the venue when it opened. I was literally GLOWING! I've never felt so beautiful in my life. My mother, his mother and I all had very different looks we wanted and we all looked amazing! Highly recommend Bangs + Blush!

I had a phenomenal experience working with Bangs and Blush on my wedding day, especially with my makeup artist, Jamie, and my hair stylist, Kacie. It is clear the entire team takes...
immense pride in their work and prioritizes the client's happiness with the finished product more than anything.
During my hair and makeup trial, the artists would step away after completion of the service to give me a moment to process it without feeling like I needed to react for the benefit of the artist. They encouraged me to give honest feedback and made adjustments without hesitation. They asked very thoughtful questions both before and during the process to get a good understanding of my preferences. I appreciated that they made suggestions I may not have considered on my own and took the time to explain any additional recommendations.
The B&B team communicated directly with my venue so they could arrive ahead of time and already had all of the hair and makeup stations set up when my bridesmaids and I arrived on the morning of the wedding. We never felt like things were being rushed but the team easily stayed on schedule and was even able to accommodate an extra hair service on the day of the wedding. All of the bridesmaids requested different hair and makeup styles, and the team was able to execute every request perfectly.
The products they use are very high quality and it is clear they take great care to keep products from getting cross-contaminated when being used for so many different people. Both my hair and makeup lasted flawlessly all day, even through lots of dancing and happy tears. I was especially impressed with their use of airbrush foundation, which provided good coverage but still looked natural on everyone. Both my bridesmaids and I were flooded with compliments on how our hair and makeup looked throughout the wedding day, and the highest compliment I received was that I looked like myself, but elevated, which is exactly how I wanted to look. I was so thrilled with my experience with Bangs and Blush and would highly recommend them to anyone!

l. Amanda and Abby and the rest of their team were not only deeply talented hair and makeup artists, but also AMAZING cheerleaders. Their energy was so fun and wholesome in the bridal suite on the day of my wedding. They handled the tight timeline with ease and showed absolutely no stress, and kept everything light and fun. The whole vibe of the bridal suite was pure happiness the day of my wedding, and I think a large part of that was due to the Bangs and Blush team being so fun to work with. I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to be apart of my day.

LOVED working with Bangs and Blush! The communication was seamless from day one. I had nine girls including myself that needed hair and make up and they worked quickly and efficie...
ntly (even finished before our timeline needed us to be done.) All of us have been in multiple weddings before and my bridesmaids all said how this was the best hair and make up they have had done/how they did not want to change a thing. Everyone requested different styles which the team was able to accommodate and they all loved how it turned out. The entire team was so calm and kept the entire morning stress free. Wendy and Heather were amazing at my trial and on my wedding day! They listened to what I wanted/helped me with my vision and allowed me to make adjustments. Both my hair and make up turned out better than I could have imagined! Could not asked for a better team to work with on such a special day!

The hair and makeup artists do fantastic work and were so kind throughout my whole experience with them - A special shoutout to the makeup artist, Heather, who did my bridal makeup...
without a trial. She listened to my concerns and callouts and did a fantastic job!!
Only giving 4 starts for two reasons - 1) I found the client coordinator hard to work with - Her responsiveness was not as quick as I would have liked and after agreeing on a timeline with me, she ended up changing the timeline 3 days before the wedding. The change was for the best but that is something I would have expected her to catch sooner.
2) The hairstylist team got started about 30 minutes late which caused literally the one moment of stress I had all day. Some of my bridesmaids did not end up getting the hairstyles they wanted because we were so rushed at the end.
I would book again but I’d make sure you have some buffer in your timeline, based on my experience.

I was referred to Bangs and Blush because the people I hired originally did a horrible job during my trail. Since I was an out of state bride my trail with B&B was scheduled 3 days...
before my wedding. I met with Jewely (Julie) and I showed her my inspo pics and we talked about what I liked and what was possible for my hair and makeup. She even did one eye different so I could choose which way I preferred. I was so happy I didn’t want to take if off but I wanted my look to be a surprise. So she changed my hair and makeup so I still looked great for the rest of the day. On my wedding day Jewely was all set up and ready for us at our start time of 10am. She did all 3 girl and myself as well as touching up the first two before she left. My girls do not wear makeup and they couldn’t stop talking about how much they loved how they looked. Jewely did my look even better that day. I couldn’t get over how good and natural I looked with amazing hair! She said she tweaked a few things since she knew how my skin reacted. So don’t skip the trial ladies!!! I left her open to what sparkle to add to my hair and she chose to use the Queen crown after seeing my dress. She even asked if I wanted it in all day or just for the ceremony. I said all day and let me tell you it never moved even after multiple dips on the dance floor. What an amazing experience and the level of skill and professionalism is off the charts. Please don’t hesitate to book with them, even the email traffic and communication was always quick and prompt. Thank you Jewely and all the ladies that helped make my wedding day special for my husband and I.

The ladies at Bangs and Blush are incredible!! When I was exploring different hair and makeup artists in the area of our wedding I couldn’t help but notice how beautiful the brides...
looked when they had Bangs and Blush as their vendor. I knew right away these were the ladies I wanted to trust with making me feel my most beautiful on my big day. I’m from out of town and didn’t think I’d be able to do a hair and makeup trial, but they actually said they could fit me in a couple days before the wedding when I would be in town. I’m so thankful I took them up on the offer because even though I thought I knew what I wanted there were a few things I ended up changing my mind on after the trial. Kacie did my hair and she listened to everything I wanted and did it perfectly. She made my vision come to life and I was obsessed with my bohemian style wedding hair vibes. Amanda absolutely nailed my makeup look and thankfully convinced me to do false eyelashes because I was so nervous to try them for the first time, but they made my eyes pop! These ladies were so professional and made all of my bridesmaids and the mothers feel so beautiful and comfortable. If you hire them you will without a doubt feel the most beautiful you’ve ever felt!

I was lucky to have Amanda for my makeup and Erin for my hair (both from the Knoxville studio) and from the moment I met these two ladies, I felt like we had been friends forever and they took such great care of me. I have never felt more beautiful than I did each time these two worked together on my hair and makeup (engagement session, trial run, and wedding day)! They were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and brought my all of my beauty visions to life. On the wedding day, they traveled to my venue, and each had 7-8 girls to help get ready and we still finished ahead of schedule. They made each girl feel gorgeous and we all had an amazing experience together. These ladies really added a fun and positive energy to our bridal party, and I cannot imagine how my day would have been without them there. I cannot say enough great things about Bangs & Blush and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for beauty services. It is worth the investment, and you will not regret it!!!

and finally came across Bangs and Blush. I live out of state and booked my hair/makeup with them before having a trial. Based on the photos on instagram I knew I would be in good hands. I was absolutely blown away after having my trial (2 days before my wedding) and then even more so on my actual wedding day. tic to work with. I was thrilled that we were able to have them travel to my venue where they had a great room located upstairs and were able to quickly work on everyone. I was extremely fortunate to work with Wendy for hair and Heather for makeup and have to say that absolutely everyone looked breathtaking . We had a few mothers who in the past had done hair and makeup and didn't love the end result and were very hesitant to participate. During my hair and makeup trial, Heather and Wendy listened to my concerns and were great about talking through the process with all of the mothers and I was ecstatic to find out that not only did I think they looked gorgeous, but they all loved their final look as well. And as the bride, I was absolutely blown away with how gorgeous I looked and felt. They gave me the look I had always dreamed of and I am so thankful for their talent and the opportunity to work with them!
