Bakermama

mpliments on how great the cake tasted. We also had a chocolate groom's cake that was gluten-free, and it tasted so good you would never know it was GF. Thea was a pleasure to work with. Her sample box was perfect for choosing our favorites, and communicating with her was easy and she listened to exactly what we wanted. I definitely recommend Bakermama!

lped me create the cakes of my dreams. My brain had a vision that was difficult to explain, but she created it perfectly. I also love that she has all sorts of different cake stands available AND offers an anniversary cake. I cannot wait to eat some more of her delicious cake.

al and I would highly recommend her. -Erin P.

so many cost-effective options for cakes, and ours turned out amazing. I'm so incredibly happy with her services, and plan to use her in the future! Our cake had strawberry and almond flavors, with a cream cheese buttercream. So yummy!!

en I read through the BakerMama website, I felt as though we had just had a great conversation. Her website was very informative and thorough and I loved that I got a feel for Thea herself, as well as her business. That led to the inquiry, then a tasting and in-person meeting, then the most beautiful and best tasting wedding cake that we’d ever had! I cannot recommend a BakerMama cake enough! Many of our guests went back for second servings, and some even thirds. Thea was so helpful and transparent. There were no surprises and she was the sweetest! We cannot wait for the next occasion to order another BakerMama cake!

e know it would have been as stellar as our wedding cake. Starting out, I was all over the place with my ideas because I wanted something unique, a bit of showstopper, but still classy. I threw so many design elements at her and she would walk me through each one with her personal opinion from her experience and capabilities via email and text. Bakermama was also a quick problem solver two days before our wedding. I didn't love the platform she planned to use for the bottom, and she gave me several places of where I could find one, but ended up just using some wrapping paper and ribbon from her house to make it gold. She truly went the extra mile for us saving us an errand at such a busy time. All in all, we absolutely loved our cake design and the taste. We didn't feel her cake tasting box was a good representation of her actual wedding cakes. So do not worry, she makes amazing tasting cakes!! Would absolutely recommend working with Bakermama. You'll love her and her cakes!!

lavors to pick from were also amazing! Thea was very professional and responsive to questions. I would recommend her to anyone!

uests, young and old, agreed that this was the best tasting cake, and cupcakes, they ever had. In addition, they are works of art; beautiful textures, colors, and design. You will not be disappointed. Check out her portfolio: https://bakermama.com/portfolio Thea is a treasure, easy to work with, flexible, and always with a spirit of excellence. Her sole desire is to please her customers. By way, she did not ask us to write this review. As long as she is baking, we'll be still buying for personal occasions. We love you Thea, and appreciate you! Reggie and Tricia Borik

is very professional yet personable and sweet, unlike any other vendor I've worked with. She helped me find the perfect cake combo for our special day, and everyone LOVED IT. I got so many comments on how good the cake was, and I'm so glad about it. She makes the best cakes around—trust me. When trying to figure out which design I wanted, she helped me narrow my options down, especially being transparent about pricing. I could not have been happier with my choice, thank you Thea!!!

Baker Mama to all of our customers!

d by all! Thank you for helping to make our night so special!!!!

ith communication. We will definitely choose Bakermama if we need a cake in the future!

, she is definitely your cake girl- i plan to use her for my cake needs in the future as well!

d made beautiful cakes. The grooms cake was a huge hit. We highly recommend working with Thea!

top talking about how amazing the grooms cake turned out. Not only were the cakes beautiful, every flavor was so delicious especially the chocolate cake with raspberry preserves. It was still delicious even a week after the wedding. I can’t recommend Thea enough for any kind of event if you want stunning and delicious cakes!

oard! The tasting box was amazing - it was hard for us to pick what we wanted. I appreciated her transparency about what realistically we needed for our size wedding, too. It was such a great process that she also did the desserts for our rehearsal party! We will absolutely use her for future celebrations.

the look and the taste that I imagined. She exchanged so many emails about how to achieve what I needed to have the cake design I wanted and enough cake for all attendees. Thea hit it out of the ball park!!! (We went with traditional New Orleans Wedding Cake flavor, almond cake with raspberry buttercream flavor)

cheese buttercream, so definitely give it a try! We went with champagne cake, champagne buttercream and lemon curd filling. I've never had champagne cake prior to trying cakes for my wedding. Thea really showed me how good of a flavor it could be when done right. She was so easy to work it, and I really appreciate her hard work in helping my wedding go off without a hitch!

ith white textured buttercream - still beautiful and most importantly, delicious) if you go to her website or Instagram, you can see for yourself how capable she is at executing any design! We ended up getting two different tasting boxes to make sure we tried everything we wanted, which was welcomed, and we must mention how good her almond cake and Italian cream are (one of our tier choices, of course!) Thea also graciously placed the flowers on our cake, a small detail that we definitely appreciated her handling, and was overall a joy to work with! Would highly recommend!

te divine. Guests were raving about how delicious both cakes were. It was very easy to work with Thea during the planning process. She is a one-woman-show and does it all, so don't be afraid to double email. I would highly recommend Bakermama!

e all delicious! Thea was there to walk us through all our questions, help us figure out how much cake we needed, and what cake/filling pairings she recommended. She executed our vision for our cake perfectly and I couldn’t recommend her more!

ng in it! I am pretty discerning with both cake and icing, and she absolutely nailed it. She let us try one more flavor (which is how we ended up with red velvet) after we booked to make sure it was perfect. Her previous cakes all had the vibe I wanted, so I just sent her screenshots of my favorite designs, and she ran with it and it turned out beautiful and just perfect without much fuss at all. We got so many compliments on our cake, looks-wise and taste-wise. And she was also able to make gluten-free cupcakes to match for my MIL in place of the traditional groom’s cake. Highly recommend Thea for sure!

life with her design and it was absolutely gorgeous! So many of my guests have asked me for details about the cake because they were raving about it all night. I would definitely recommend hiring Bakermama! She is SO talented.

cise, clean and gorgeous! The flavor of her cakes are just as amazing as her designs. She allowed us to taste test as many as we wanted throughout the year of planning and was extremity pleasant and fun to work with. I will most defiantly use Bakermama for any future cake needs!

, find some cakes we like, then meet her at her studio to receive a tasting box and go over cake details. Every interaction with her was encouraging and the meeting at her studio really helped us see what size cakes we wanted for our wedding. The tasting box threw us for a loop because every single flavor of cake and frosting was delicious. After the tasting, my partner and I changed our initial flavor plans which Bakermama gladly accommodated! The day of, she arrived early with the wedding cake and even made a second trip from her studio to deliver the backup cake separately! Everyone at the wedding remarked on how delicious and beautiful the cakes were. Any wedding - or event - would be enhanced by her wonderful cakes!

by their flavors but beautiful as well is remarkable! I just can't stop raving about you! PLUS you are as sweet of a person as your cakes! Truly a gem!

as also delicious. We really liked that she also offered the separate cutting cakes that have a slightly lower price point and were the exact same quality as the bridal cake. Would definitely recommend her.

de him exactly what he wanted! All of my guests were raving about how good the cake was! I cannot recommend Thea enough!

clicking with any other vendors but when I found her website I knew that she was the one for us! She’s is so sweet and created exactly what I wanted for our wedding cake. Not to mention it was delicious! We went with a few flavors but the snickerdoodle was our favorite. My husband and I cut our cake at the wedding and immediately went back for more after the first bite. Highly recommend using her for any of your baking needs and we hope to use her again for more events in our life!

bride to give them something they will love. I got so many compliments on my wedding day about how the cakes looked and tasted.

envisioned. You have to try the raspberry jam filling!

. And I am so glad I did! Thea has been an absolute pleasure to work with. She stuck with us through two postponed weddings (thanks COVID) and could not be more understanding or compassionate. She was patient with me as I threw out idea after idea and ultimately made the most incredible wedding and groom's cake. Not only were the cake's beautiful, they tasted amazing. She offers so many different flavors and they were all delicious. So many people were asking me for her information after the wedding. Thank you Thea!

design, floral and swirls of icing. It was layered with chocolate, vanilla cakes, and champagne icing. We received so many complements on design and taste. Thea was very sweet to me at her kitchen visit and her prices are super reasonable! Recommend to all!

e she made it complete! Thea was so easy to work with and very sweet throughout the whole process. We can’t thank her enough for her amazing talent and professionalism. We would HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

l on deciding how much cake to order and what size tiers would work for us.

had and was flexible as far as letting me do a last minute cake testing. I couldn't have asked her to do a better job because what she created for us was so beautiful and delicious! We received so many compliments. The flavors we chose were snickerdoodle (top tier), strawberry (middle tier), snickerdoodle (bottom tier) with cream cheese filling and vanilla frosting. She added our flowers and cake topper to the cake as well. She was also accommodating to the nut allergies we had for our guests as well! I would definitely recommend Thea for all of your cake needs. Check out her social media pages for pictures of her awesome work! Thank you Thea for everything!!

than we thought they could be. We received so many compliments about them even weeks later! With so many constant changes due to the pandemic, Thea was very flexible and was willing to wait until much closer to the wedding date to finalize guest count so we could make sure to have the right amount of cake while still following the most current guidelines. She is an absolute dream to work with and I couldn't be more grateful to have worked with her!

ot the biggest cake person, but I believe I had seconds (maybe even snuck in a third)! Everyone was raving about the cake! People reached out even after the wedding to inquire about her! Bakermama creates the most beautiful cakes for a reasonable price and you can tell this isn’t just a business for her. She takes pride in her work and checks in on her clients. My husband and I got married back in July 2020 and we still talk about her cake! In fact, we were told that if we reached out for a one year anniversary, she could create our wedding cake for us two to enjoy! How sweet is that?? We now have welcomed our first baby into our family and for sure will be reaching out for all the special occasions life will continue to bring!

t with a lemon and cream cheese filling and a triple chocolate with hazelnut filling -- both delicious. Not only was the cake amazing but Thea was great to work with. She always got back to us right away and worked with us when we had to re-schedule our wedding due to COVID. Seriously, book Bakermama NOW, you wont regret it!

and is not huge on frosting but he LOVED the cream cheese frosting. We did three flavors: champagne vanilla, chocolate, and cookies and cream - cream cheese frosting on all. I know many guests got to try all three flavors! Bakermama perfectly executed the vision for the groom's cake and did a great job recreating his favorite teams logo. My mom also used Bakermama to make a cake for my bridal shower and that was amazing too. My one feedback would be there is room for improvement on communication - I know Thea gets many inquiries and has her hands full so I did have to resend the same email once or twice. However, Thea was very apologetic when one email got lost in the shuffle, and during the week of the wedding she texted me regarding delivery time etc. which I appreciated. I look forward to ordering a one year anniversary cake with Bakermama!

roughout the process, and was extremely helpful when I asked her a bunch of questions. Her flavors are so amazing that you will have a hard time deciding which flavors to pair with witch icings and fillings! Not only is the flavor delicious, but the cakes themselves are beautiful. Bakermama is truly talented. I have already had people ask me if they can order just a birthday cake from her because they want the flavor again! I believe every wedding couple should hire Bakermama as their baker.

esign we loved. She also was very conscientious of our budget & made the best plan according to that. She was all around amazing. She delivered all 3 cakes to the venue & set them up flawlessly. Can’t wait to have an anniversary cake done by her! HIGHLY recommend.

hampagne cake with Baileys filling and a lemon cake with lemon curd filling. Scrumptious!!! My wedding guests keep talking about the cake!
