Everything was great
What a wonderful experience! We hired Backwood Barbecue to cater our wedding reception. They helped us out in a last minute situation. Our original caterer had backed out on us ...
at the last minute and Backwood stepped in and just handled everything needed to make our day perfect! I really like the personal touches that their team included for our wedding. That really doesn't happen enough in the todays society. They created a special sauce for our guests and named it after our last name. Dave talked to us about what kind of sauces we liked and created a sauce with our preferences in mind. It was a wonderful experience and just added to our perfect day. Thank you so much Dave and team for making everything pefect.
This caterer was great to work with. From the beginning of the conversation to the day of the event they were on top of every detail. Dave really said down and talked through eve...
ry detail of our day and made sure that they had all the information needed to make our day perfect. He asked us about the kitchen and every detail of the venue to make sure he had a good understanding of what was expected. He talked through with us what different foods we liked and what sides would compliment each of those main meats. He even made us a signature sauce for our wedding. Our sauce was named after our last name and had a hot version and a sweet version. They had even set us aside to go boxes for my husband and I. The level of detail they put in for their weddings was amazing! Thank you so much for all of the help and making our meal at our reception amazing!

e anything, I would adjust to make the amount of meat more proportional with what I think the guests would have wanted. We ran out of brisket during our event but luckily we had more than enough pulled pork to feed everyone. I would up the amount of meat that I purchased (And I think we had .4 pounds/person) and I would have purchased more brisket than pulled pork. Other than that, the Backwood BBQ team did an amazing job and the food was incredible!
