ul it was to work with her and how easy wedding planning can be. She was even more amazing on the big day as well and made me and my partner feel no stress that everything went so smoothly. I’m so happy that she helped us for our wedding day and recommend her highly. Thanks Kelsey!
Kelsey of Back Bay Bride was truly a dream to work with. We were planning a wedding out of state, so we needed help with recommendations of local venues and vendors, organization o...
f all our wedding decor and budget, and streamlined communication with our entire wedding team leading up to the day. We interviewed a handful of wonderful planners, but Kelsey stuck out the most.
She was the only planner who followed up promptly, invested time in researching local venues that fit our guest list size and budget BEFORE we even signed a contract with her, and took the time to genuinely get to know our love story.
From day one, she thoroughly laid out the whole process of what to expect leading up to the wedding day. Throughout our year of wedding planning with Kelsey, we had multiple milestone meetings to discuss our vision, ideas, and progress, and next steps, all accompanied by a very thorough and detailed deck to stay on track. I always felt like we were very on top of everything and her communication and transparency was flawless. She always was respectful of our budget and presented a variety of ideas and options to fit our needs and wants.
On top of her diligent and detailed process and extensive knowledge of the wedding industry, Kelsey truly made our vision come to life. I really appreciated her bringing unique and special ideas to the table, especially things I didn't think of! She has a keen eye for style and pays close attention to the small, meaningful details. We were told by SO many people that we had the most beautiful wedding with so many personalized details that go a long way. Kelsey made our wedding dreams come true :)
Leading up to the wedding day, I was never stressed or overwhelmed. On the day of, she was extremely organized, positive, and timely. The whole day went PERFECTLY.
Needless to say, if you are looking for a planner, look no further. Kelsey of Back Bay Bride is incredible :)

made. Kelsey is so knowledgeable and provided many wonderful recommendations for vendors to work with. Every detail and design was executed to perfection and the entire wedding day ran so smoothly. I would highly recommend working with Kelsey and can’t thank her enough!
Kelsey was absolutely the most incredible planner and designer and deciding to work with her was easily the best decision we made when planning our destination wedding in Maine! We...
would give her 100 stars if we could! About a year and a half out from our September 2022 wedding, we already had our vendors fully booked but I was so overwhelmed by all the design options available and the sheer number of details involved in the big day, especially planning everything from New York. Kelsey came to the rescue and was truly our hero! She quickly helped us finalize a wedding aesthetic that we loved, incorporating so many design elements we never would have thought of on our own (including a flower chandelier and oyster shell escort card gallery wall). She is so knowledgeable about the industry and Maine vendors and did SO much behind the scenes coordination on our behalf that it made the planning process on our end so smooth and truly enjoyable- from ensuring our floral designs were just right, to coordinating the full wedding signage and stationary process on our behalf, to managing the entire shopping list and assembly of everything needed to make the day gorgeous and super custom. As we approached the wedding day, I was truly stress-free and so confident that everything would be amazing, because Kelsey was ten steps ahead, ensuring everything was flawless and smooth. Moreover, she was super responsive, insanely organized, and simply an absolute pleasure to work with!
Our wedding day was more gorgeous than I could have ever dreamt of thanks to Kelsey’s incredible design talent and out-of-this-world attention to detail. Our guests literally audibly gasped when they saw the reception tent (as did we!). Moreover, Kelsey truly did the impossible for us by turning a drab hotel meeting room into a custom tiki bar and lounge for our wedding after party, complete with a tiki bar she fully designed and amazing furniture she sourced from local vendors we never would have known about. My husband and I love tiki bars and Kelsey executed on our whimsical vision above and beyond anything we could have imagined.
All our guests raved it was the best wedding they have ever been to, and so much of that was due to the incredible work Kelsey did to make our day the most stunning and seamless event possible! Thank you so much, Kelsey, for bringing our dream wedding to life and making the process so fun!
We truly could not recommend booking with Back Bay Bride more!

erent jobs Kelsey took on from going with us to Portsmouth to chose the table settings, to actually constructing a tiki bar. She has an artistic eye and great attention to detail as well as being a positive and friendly presence. Highly recommend!

he investment!
As the mother of the bride, it gave me a sense of peace knowing that Kelsey was with us to share her expertise and take care of the big and little details. She was able to take my daughter's ideas and meticulously plan and create a beautiful design. Kelsey has the experience and forward thinking to prioritize tasks. She handled everything that came her way with ease in the eight short months that we had to plan the wedding. Kelsey is creative, reliable, intuitive and dependable. This list could go on! We valued her honest opinion especially when discussing a realistic budget. At times this was especially challenging given the rising costs of services due to the economic climate. She was always able to find affordable options that were just perfect.
Kelsey was always calm and reassuring which meant we were able to relax and enjoy every little moment. I am so appreciative for all that she did to help make Annie and Andy's dreams of a perfect wedding day become reality. Kelsey is the BEST!
Kelsey was super professional and easy to work with, she was super organized and easy to communicate with. I highly suggest her for your wedding planning.
Our wedding would not have been even close to what is was without Kelsey. Her design, organization and expertise are unmatched and we are so grateful we had her on our team for our...
big day.
Kelsey was able to help us pull our vision together for the venue and it was so much better than we ever thought it could be. In most situations we are DIY-ers; however, I can not say enough about how happy I am that we hired a planner, particularly Kelsey, for our wedding. Kelsey knows so much about wedding design and has so many original ideas to make your venue and wedding stand out and make it reflective of how you are as a couple.
I always looked forward to our calls with Kelsey because I knew that she would help us stay on track with our timelines and help us figure out what to focus on next. Kelsey has relationships with so many vendors in the area that she was able to give us recommendations based on her experience and within our budget. This saved us so much time. Additionally, Kelsey communicates with the vendors to make sure everyone is on the same page about timelines and deliveries, etc. leading up to the event. I can not stress enough how imperative this is because as the bride or the groom, you don't want to be worrying about logistics on your wedding day. With Kelsey, you will really be able to take a step back and let her and her team work their magic- and you can be present on your day (and that is priceless)!
Kelsey really thought of everything and made it feel so incredibly special for us, our families and our guests. I dream about our day all day, every day. I keep telling my friends that I need an excuse to throw another party so that I can hire Kelsey to help me. You will not regret working with Kelsey as your wedding planner- she is amazing!

e helped us plan our wedding for almost 3 years due to covid rescheduling and I don’t know what we would’ve done without her. Throughout the entire planning process, Kelsey was extremely communicative, organized, and incredibly thoughtful with all of her suggestions on how to make our day feel special and representative of us as a couple. She has such an eye for details and truly made our day so beautiful. Kelsey helped us navigate postponing our wedding to a year later due to Covid. She communicated with all our vendors to secure the new date and made sure that we were taken care of during an incredibly stressful time. Kelsey has the most calming presence and gives great, level-headed advice when making wedding planning decisions, which was so appreciated especially when planning a wedding in a pandemic! For our venue, we had to bring in all rentals, catering, alcohol, etc and Kelsey placed all of those orders for us and organized all those details seamlessly so we never had to worry about a thing. On our wedding day, Kelsey made sure everything was exactly where it was supposed to be and everything looked flawless. Our wedding weekend was truly the best weekend of our lives and we have Kelsey to thank for that! Hiring Kelsey as our wedding planner was definitely the best wedding planning decision we made! We love her!

my own work and was overwhelmed by all the details I wanted to get perfect. Knowing that I had Kelsey to help with even the smallest of details was such a weight off my Shoulders. She had the best ideas and knew exactly what I needed to make a beautiful party custom-fit for my Mama! Can’t wait to get engaged so she can be a part of my big day! Wouldn’t trust anyone else! Run don’t walk to Back Bay Bride for an event of your dreams!
Kelsey from Back Bay Bride is simply, hands down, the BEST. Words just don't capture how amazing she was from start to finish throughout our wedding planning journey. From the very...
beginning, Kelsey listened to our dreams, concerns and everything in between, picking up on every single detail and tailoring our big day to us perfectly. She took our vision and completely brought it to life, making our October 2021 wedding an actual dream come true. She is insanely talented, has an incredible knack for taking an idea, making it a reality and elevating it beyond expectation. You can feel her passion for what she does in everything she does, and how she worked with us. She is incredibly friendly, warm, easy-going and fun to collaborate with! And that's just it -- it felt like a collaboration working with her. It was a partnership every step of the way, and we always felt a part of the journey. We trusted Kelsey without question. Even in moments of stress, Kelsey was always there to reassure us and we felt every ounce of confidence in her and in the journey. She also was beyond key in connecting us with our other vendors -- photographer, band, florist and caterer. Because of her, she created this amazing symphony of all our vendors seamlessly collaborating together, and everything went off without a hitch on our big day. I would recommend Kelsey to anyone and everyone! If you are looking for your wedding dreams to quite literally come true and be completely blown away, look no further than Kelsey from Back Bay Bride. Our wedding is certainly something we will never, ever forget, and we have Kelsey to thank for the most special memories that we will cherish forever.

ighly enough and have personally referred her to several of my friends currently planning weddings.
Kelsey guided us seamlessly through the planning process, coordinated expertly with all our vendors, and brought an absolutely stunning vision to life on our big day! We postponed our wedding by a full year due to the COVID pandemic and Kelsey handled all of the uncertainty and ambiguity graciously and efficiently. She answered all our questions quickly and was sure to keep us on task as well!
The day of our wedding was absolutely flawless, Kelsey and her assistant handled all day-of coordination for set-up and take-down and kept the whole evening on track. My husband and I didn't have to do anything except be present with our family and friends throughout the whole day. We truly had the best day of our lives and it was all thanks to Kelsey!!

ion come to life and exceeded expectations in every way imaginable. She worked tirelessly behind the scenes and went above and beyond to make sure we didn’t have to think about a single thing on our wedding day. We had SO much fun and the day could not have been more special. She got to know us so well and truly made sure that every little detail was perfect and customized to feel like us. Every vendor she partnered with for our wedding was carefully selected and she only works with the best of the best. We could not recommend Kelsey and her planning services more! Do yourself a favor and hire Kelsey.

t. Kelsey was highly recommended to me from a friend and I couldn't begin to thank her for all her support planning, execution and day of wedding coordination. She recommended vendors I now love and will continue to use, she helped me to focus design choices, she coordinated with vendors and ran around on my wedding day so I didn't have to worry about a thing. She level set with me about rain plans when I panicked two weeks in advance, you get the picture. Beyond her network to help bring your wedding to life, she's exactly the calm and grounded sidekick any bride could need for a big day. Truly a rock star.

quotes from vendors, to ordering decor, to handling all of the minute details that would overwhelm any bride or groom, she was there for everything. On top of that, not having to worry about any logistics the day of was honestly priceless. Her passion is tangible and she is so good at what she does - from the organization, to vendor relations, to the design / creativity aspect. I promise any future couples, you will not look back and wish you hadn’t spent the money on a planner. Kelsey, thank you for making our day stress free and more beautiful than we could have ever imagined!

ift in itself: she consulted with us, she learned what we liked, disliked, did want, did not want, hoped for, and did not hope for. She went the extra mile connecting us with vendors that complimented our ‘Maine Lobster Bake’ theme and beyond that, found us a day-of-coordinator that best fit us and who made our actual wedding day, the most magical day of our lives.

ng- her hard work and vision created a wedding that was far beyond anything we even dreamed of. She transformed a warehouse space into a modern industrial chic event unlike anything we had seen before. She took our ideas and executed the perfect event. I can say without a doubt she was the best money I have ever spent. Not only did she do all the vendor research/sourcing & planning- her day of coordination was perfectly executed- even to the smallest detail. To top it all off- Kelsey is so nice, helpful & happy to help with anything she can! Weeks later I still have people calling me asking me how I pulled off such an unique event- I tell them to hire Kelsey!

'd hope to find in anyone you work with (e.g. professionalism, punctuality, responsiveness, flexibility, etc....) which Kelsey certainly possesses in abundance, I think that what truly makes her stand out as a totally essential part of this whole wedding process is her intuitive ability to understand your needs and wishes and bring them to life in a seemingly effortless, completely stress-free way. She is an absolute pleasure to work with; the list of ways in which she made our wedding experience better than anything we imagined is too long to note here.

h! She took the initiative to schedule touch base calls which really helped me focus throughout the wedding planning process. I was very overwhelmed by what to do and when to do it, but Kelsey broke it down into stages for me which made it not only manageable, but fun! I was also nervous that the decor would be too expensive and outside of my budget, but Kelsey had clever ideas on how to achieve the look for less in a way that was tasteful and something I could be proud of. What I love most about Kelsey is the way she is able to customize ideas to fit YOUR personality. Our wedding was truly a reflection of my husband and I. By no means was it an out of the box theme that you've seen time and time again. Her strong suit is coming up with unique ideas that are personal to you rather than something that just looks like a Pinterest board repin. Another one of Kelsey's strengths is her ability to understand and listen. Sometimes I had a hard time articulating my ideas and style, but Kelsey practically read my mind! Even if you can't seem to find the words for what you're trying to explain, Kelsey just gets it. I could seriously go on and on about why she is so amazing to work with ... you will be in *amazing* hands with Back Bay Bride!

good idea for what I wanted my wedding to look like but I was having such a hard time pulling all the little details together and really making my vision come to life. Kelsey helped me tie all the details together in a way that was even better than what I had in my head. She gave me an awesome shopping list, detailing exactly where to buy everything and made sure it fit within my budget. She was available to answer any question I had throughout the entire process and it was just so nice to have someone as talented and experienced as her to bounce ideas off of. I can't recommend Back Bay Bride for your wedding day highly enough!!

ess) Hiring her as our wedding planner was hands down one of the best decisions we made! Kelsey’s attention to detail was critical to our wedding day going as smoothly as it did. Ten minutes before our ceremony was about to start, a mini hurricane came sweeping through the yard, Kelsey threw on her rain boots and was in the yard fixing everything before I had a chance to see all the damage that had happened. She didn’t even give me the opportunity to panic. Kelsey ran the entire show, and as a result, our wedding was flawless. If you are looking for a wedding planner, definitely without a question hire Kelsey, she was absolutely amazing and I can’t say enough wonderful things about her. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

decided to plan a styled shoot together! The next day, Kelsey already created an incredible mood board that represented our vision perfectly. Just based off the mood board alone, I could tell how detail-oriented she is and how much she cared about our project! Throughout the whole planning process, Kelsey was so communicative and well organized. She handled every detail so smoothly coordinating with all of the vendors involved - I never felt like I had to worry about a thing. The day of the shoot, Kelsey was phenomenal! Her calm demeanor made me feel incredibly at ease and when one of the candles for our table setup didn’t look quite right, she had 5 more as backup! She is an absolute dream to work with and I already can’t wait for our next collaboration!

st a planner, she is the visionary, the researcher and the executor. Within no time she feels like a true partner in making your dream wedding come true. While we are still in the planning phase of our wedding, I can confidently say that I am utterly excited for the unique beauty and attention to detail Kelsey brings to the New England weddings that she plans.
From the day we began planning, Kelsey was incredibly organized offering spreadsheets and well-composed emails to calm my overwhelmed bride mind. The first thing I noticed, she listens to exactly what it is that you're dreaming of for your wedding day, and then she somehow puts all of your disorganized thoughts into professional and stunning Mood Board with what I've come to call a wedding mission statement to set the tone for every other detail of the day. She has incredible relationships with vendors so when you tell Kelsey a specific style of a vendor that you had in mind, she can instantly offer a few suggestions and introductions. Even better, if you say “Hey, I have no idea what I'm doing in this category, help!” she's also got that covered. So far, she has absolutely nailed every single vendor we've met and we know it's only the beginning. She is everything you are looking for in a professional planner; creative, responsive and genuinely excited for your wedding day and I could not imagine going through this crazy process without her guidance.

s prepared, had great suggestions and helped guide me on what to focus my efforts on next. She also reached out to all of my vendors ahead of time and every single one went out of their way to tell me that we were in great hands for our big day.
Come wedding weekend, I didn't have to worry about a thing. She had a big wedding party of opinionated people to deal with, and she handled it flawlessly. Our family and bridal party trusted her so much that I saw them going directly to her with questions -- it was a huge relief for me.
Day of, everything went off perfectly, and if something did go wrong, I didn't know about it, which in my mind is the ultimate sign of a great planner. My husband and I were able to enjoy our day worry-free and know for a fact that the day wouldn't have gone off nearly as smoothly if Kelsey hadn't done such an amazing job.
Long story short, Kelsey lives and breathes organizational skills and beautiful wedding design. We couldn't recommend her enough.
Kelsey helped me find a last-minute videographer for my wedding, and although I didn't use her to plan my wedding as a whole, I wish I had! She is very quick to respond, organized,...
and connected to some very talented vendors. I am so unbelievably happy with the video of my wedding, and anyone who chooses to have Kelsey plan their wedding will have a beautiful result!

orough and attentive. She made herself available in the way that best fit my schedule which varied between meetings in-person, via phone or FaceTime.
Kelsey really has a gift for nailing an overall theme and bringing a bride's vision to life. For me personally, nailing the overall theme was overwhelming and that's when I luckily met Kelsey! After describing my [probably confusing] vision, Kelsey pulled together a very professional slideshow nailing what I was looking for. I immediately felt as ease. She just got it! This slide deck she put together for my husband and I not only had inspirational images, but also included examples of items we could use to recreate the creative ideas at varying price points.
Not only did she nail my vision, but she made it better! She's so creative and has ideas that are outside the box. I felt like the details of our wedding were so unique and our guests consistently complimented these little details. They make all the difference!
I cannot tell you how much less stressful my day was knowing that she was holding down the fort. She managed/coordinate our vendors timelines [DJ, floral, etc] and was in contact wit them through planning, week of and day of. She nailed all the decor placement for cocktail hour and reception as well. She even took the time to check in with me bright and early! I just knew that everything would be immaculate because Kelsey was setting it up and approving it. I was able to thoroughly enjoy my wedding day and can't thank Kelsey enough for that! She also was so giving to loan items that she has like gold votives and white cake stands. Then the day after our wedding, she came back and packed up the entire ballroom which by no means had to do... at all! She goes above and beyond. I absolutely love her.
Also - another thing is that while Kelsey was a professional fly on the wall during our wedding, a few of our guests must have approached her to see who she was because my husband and I heard from a couple people about how sweet she was. You'd think that they'd be like "oh cool, that's their wedding planner" and move on, but Kelsey's sweetness is so contagious that they thought enough to tell us how nice she is.
Kelsey is amazing at what she does! It often got so overwhelmed with all the things that needs to get done and planned, but Kelsey helped me every step of the way, even creating a ...
