Working with Kristina and Aspen Charm Cakes and Pastries was, by far, one of the best decisions we made in wedding vendors.
Prior to meeting with Kristina, my husband and I met wi...
th two other bakers, and one after meeting with her. As soon as we started working with her, we realized Kristina is a true artist. Kristina had asked us for our colors and general style before our meeting. When we arrived, she was prepared with everything from sample cupcakes to labelled foam cylinders to help us visualize the size and shape of our cake. As we were eating and discussing, she was drawing all of our designs freehand, using only the colors that we asked for! Quickly realizing that Kristina was an artist, we told her what we liked and what we didn't from our drawings, and told her to go from there. What she drew was absolutely perfect!
Kristina was prompt and professional from beginning to end. In fact, when she delivered the cake on the day of our event, the only reason we knew she had been there was because the cake was sitting on the table, in all of its beautiful glory. And it was DELICIOUS!!!! We ordered more cake than there were guests, and we didn't have any left! (Except for the top layer for us, of course!) Everybody absolutely loved the cake and people are still talking about it, several months later. The cake was incredibly reasonably priced, much less expensive than her competitors, and much better quality, too!
Kristina was a pleasure to work with and she will definitely be our go-to cake and pastry chef for all of our future needs!
Kristina's cakes for my daughter's wedding were the best! She was very easy to work with through the whole process. At the tasting she was able to combine our ideas with her experi...
ence to create 2 stunning cakes. They were absolutely delicious and we were so pleased. We'll definitely work with Kristina and Aspen Charm again!
Kristina designed a custom cake for our wedding, and it couldn't have been more beautiful (and delicious). Planning the wedding was crazy- I am a small business owner, and my husba...
nd was busy traveling with his band, The Lumineers. We didn't have time to think about the details of the cake, but wanted something different and tasty. Our wedding planner suggested Kristina based on her professionalism and creativity. At the first meeting, we showed her our invitations, and she drew design ideas on the spot, based on our colors and theme. She was a total pro. I would recommend her to anyone. I don't remember what the cake cost, but I do remember it being right in line with other designers we'd spoken with.
Everything was amazing! We tried several bakeries around Denver. Aspen Charm is newer but this is what Denver needs. A new approach to wedding cakes instead of the same cake in dif...

Thank you for a beautiful wedding cake. The cake was so delicious. We got cookies and cream, it was very moist and full of flavor. We saved the cake the next day and it was still moist!

The cake is the best part of the planning process, besides getting married. We chose a Lemon Cake with Raspberry frosting and everyone loved it. My cake was pretty simple, but tha...
t's how I wanted it. We didn't get to eat the cake but we had some after the wedding, delicious!
Thank you and best wishes to you and your success! The cake was amazing, we highly recommend, book with Aspen Charm if you want a truly customized experience for your cake.
I enjoyed the entire experience. The best moment was seeing the cake before Jeff and I cut it and I was completely in awe. Thank you!
Let me begin by stating that the cupcake tasters were absolutely delicious. The best of all the options I tried. However, I did not go with this vendor for a number of reasons. I s...
ent very detailed email to the owner, specifying that I wanted to have a red velvet topper with cupcakes. Additionally, I explained the theme of my wedding in detail. When I arrived with my cake tasters (mother and mother in law), the set up was lovely. Two platters with adorable cupcakes awaited us. But, there wasn't a red velvet taster to be seen - the owner excused this oversight by stating, "everyone knows what red velvet tastes like." Since red velvet was the centerpiece of my wedding and specifically requested, I was instantly put off by her blaze attitude. Then she proceeded to ask me about my wedding theme (which is completely natural when meeting in person), however, she asked as though she had never read my extremely detailed email about what I wanted and my theme. She also tried to go through her usual spiel about cakes and tiers, which I was uninterested in (per my email about cupcakes). She simply did not seem to have spent any time preparing for my specific tasting. While I appreciate that she may have had several tastings that day and I was the last, she should have reread my email prior to my appointment and been prepared for my specific needs. If she had not been so flakey she most certainly would have been the vendor I booked to make my cupcakes because her cupcakes were divine. I simply couldn't trust that she would get the details right after that first impression.
What a wonderful experience! From cake tasting to our wedding day. I wanted a traditional but not that traditional cake and Kristina created exactly what I wanted. I am so happy w...
