We could not recommend Ashling Catering more highly, and especially Karla, who was truly one of the most important vendors we worked with throughout the entire wedding planning process. Our wedding was a fairly complex one at a private residence outdoors under a tent, with a lot of moving parts, details, and logistical challenges. We had never planned anything like this before and had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. From our very first conversation with Karla, we immediately felt like we were in good hands. Ashling was one of the vendors we booked the fastest because the service felt so personalized, flexible, and accommodating, which was exactly what we needed for the kind of wedding we were planning. Throughout the process, my mom and I constantly said to each other that we genuinely did not know what we would have done without Karla. She went so far above and beyond for us. She knows exactly what she is doing, is incredibly professional, and guided us through every stage of the process with so much patience and confidence. I cannot emphasize how many changes we made throughout planning — to our services, menu, design, and flow of the day. Karla and the Ashling team accommodated every change and request, never making us feel difficult, stressed, or overwhelmed. What really stood out was how willing Karla and the team were to work with us on all of the specific details. We wanted guests to walk into the tent and see a fully styled place setting with the charger, salad plate, and menu already in place. Ashling worked with us to create the look we wanted while still keeping everything sanitary by replacing the display plates with fresh plates before salad service. They also accommodated adding wine-pour service, managed both a cocktail-hour bar and tent bar setup, and worked closely with us on our signature cocktail, including helping us figure out and provide the ingredients needed to execute it properly. The wedding-day service itself was fabulous. The staff was professional, attentive, and everything ran exactly as it should. They even greeted guests arriving for cocktail hour at the front of the house with our signature drink, which was such a fun and polished way to welcome everyone and immediately set the tone for the evening. Another one of the touches we appreciated most was how well they took care of my husband and I throughout the day. While we were busy taking photos and talking with guests, they made sure we each had one of our signature cocktails in hand, which was something we never would have thought to ask for. They also brought an appetizer plate directly to our seats so we could actually enjoy some of the cocktail-hour food as we were busy talking to guests for most of the cocktail hour. The food was amazing and everything looked beautiful, but what meant the most to us was how much Karla helped tie together so many different pieces of the wedding. She was someone we could rely on throughout the entire process. For a private-residence wedding with a lot of moving parts and a very specific vision, I truly cannot imagine having worked with anyone better than Ashling, and Karla was an absolute standout. We would recommend Ashling and Karla without hesitation to anyone planning a wedding, and especially to anyone taking on a more complex outdoor or private-estate event. We are so grateful we had them.

Karla and the entire Ashling team were absolutely incredible! Karla was very helpful through the entire planning process, highly responsive to any questions we had along the way, and so easy to work with. All of our guests - and us - agreed it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. We had an absolutely perfect day, incredible food, and the Ashling team went above and beyond delivering special meals to almost all of our guests with allergies so they didn't experience any cross-contamination at the buffet. The team also flipped the ceremony space for dinner in a short period of time and it looked fabulous. Thank you, Ashling!!
