Ashley Skeie Wedding & Event Planning

e able to work with her to plan the most special day of our lives that we will never forget!! I interviewed 7 wedding planners and Ashley and her team stood out within the first 2 minutes of my interview call. I felt immediate trust and care after our initial conversation. We hired Ashley and her team for their design, planning and floral services. She has a calm presence but is also incredibly organized, responsive and prompt. Her and her team blew us away every step of the way. If we could rate them 10 stars we would!

ll on the day of? What dreams are made of. She understood me, my husband, the vision for the wedding. I really do not think my wedding would have been at all successful without her. She also did my florals and knocked it out of the park. Her team is incredible, her work is phenomenal, she's efficient and organized and a dream come true.

cation, quickly made any adjustments I requested, and was very helpful during our planning meeting when I needed help on decisions. I put full trust in her and her team and they nailed it! She communicated clearly with our day of coordinator to ensure various floral arrangements were repositioned throughout the venue at certain times, and it all worked out seamlessly behind the scenes. I would highly recommend Ashley and am so thankful for her hard work to help make our day so beautiful!

to lift a finger on wedding day! The decor exceeded my expectations and it was truthfully the best day of my life. We couldn't have done it without them!

ntail. Ashley and her team kept things organized and kept us calm throughout the whole process. She was so detail oriented, all the little details were perfectly managed! Despite my somewhat vague and unclear vision (I literally just told her Irish countryside), she provided the most BEAUTIFUL mood boards for each day AND perfectly carried them out. Ashley and her team do their own florals and oh my god did they deliver. I cannot recommend them more. Our wedding was perfect and I really can barely recall a single hiccup the day of (which speaks to her exceptional planning). Also Ashley and Julia are just lovely individuals, and it has been more than a delight becoming friends with them over this process!

erall experience was marked by preventable oversights. There are two positives: on the actual day, both coordinators maintained a calm, supportive demeanor. The breadth of inventory offered is excellent and remains a key strength. That said, several important aspects of coordination were not executed as planned. Additionally, Ashley's communication leading up to the wedding day demonstrated her team is likely taking on too many clients. Day-of, reception setup was incomplete despite clear instructions, incorrect items were used even though replacements were clearly labeled and communicated, dessert signage was not displayed (creating allergy concerns), and timeline management issues affected key moments. We also never received the final vendor timeline, which caused stress during morning preparations. We hired a wedding coordinator to manage logistics and details so we could be fully present, and unfortunately these issues became the most stressful parts of our day. While the team we worked with was kind and energetic, their performance did not align with the level of commitment and professionalism we expected.

ings included in our package were detailed and left us feeling confident in their skills. With access to their rental inventory, we didn't' need to hire other vendors for vases, candlesticks, etc. They brought it all with them and took it away at the end of the night. Ashley was very responsive via email in the months leading up to the day and Emma was so helpful the week of answering last-minute questions. We were able to drop some item off at their office the week of for them to transport to the venue, which took a HUGE stress off our shoulders! Emma and her assistant were a calm, positive presence on the day and they showed up ready to work. Their set up and management of the vendors meant we didn't have to lift a finger and could rest easy knowing they would handle everything. I would hire them again in a heartbeat! Save yourself some stress and book Ashley!

All of our guests told us that the day was truly magical and everything was so well done.

estions as we navigated things we had never heard of before. She went above and beyond helping with our designs, making sure that everything was cohesive. Julia frequently checked in leading up to the day and on the day of checked in on us to encourage us to take in the moment. She kept us on track and had things running smoothly. She was incredibly kind and joined in on our jokes, making us feel comfortable to trust her throughout the whole process. Ashley Skeie as a group is fabulous as well! The attention to detail and effort that they put in to make sure their clients have a perfect day was incredible. We felt like every tiny detail was addressed, no question was too out there, and that we had a 'team' behind us. We love you guys!

, she made the entire process easier than we ever could have imagined. Her organization and creativity made planning feel manageable and even fun. She was incredibly responsive, always willing to help, and consistently a step ahead in anticipating what we would need. Ashley and her team transformed our space into something beyond beautiful, we were seriously speechless when we saw the design deck come to life on the big day. Every detail was thoughtful and cohesive, and it felt like walking into a dream. What amazed us even more was how seamlessly she combined both planning and floral design. The flowers were absolutely stunning and brought the entire vision to life in a way that felt personal and elegant. Julia was also incredibly helpful in several aspects of our design process from invitations to linens. Her knowledge and guidance gave us so much confidence in those final details, and it truly showed in the end result. Throughout the day, guest after guest asked who had done the planning, the flowers, and the setup. People were genuinely surprised to learn that it was all handled by one team. That is a true testament to the talent, professionalism, and care that the Ashley Skeie Events team brought to every step. Having them by our side was one of the best decisions we made! They brought our ideas to life and turned them into something even better. We will be recommending them to everyone we know, and we feel so lucky to have had them as such an important part of our wedding!!

hire Ashley as your day of coordinator? YES! Do you need to hire Ashley has your florist? 1000% yes. From the beginning, Ashley made the entire wedding planning process so easy. She has been in the business for over 10 years, so she knows a thing or two about weddings. She provides worksheets for you to fill out during your planning process, that keep things organized for not only yourself, but for her and her team to use on your wedding day. She has a huge rental inventory for you to rent from and she brings those items with her on the day of your wedding. This was so important to my husband and me. It allowed us to fully enjoy and be present on our wedding day, while not having to worry about a thing. Ashley really took my wedding vision and brought it to life - even better than I ever could have dreamed of! Ashley was easily the best vendor we hired for our wedding. I wish I could get married again just to hire Ashley and her team. She is the best of the BEST!

ugh every step with precision and care, ensuring no detail was overlooked. Their expertise, creativity, and fresh ideas made the entire planning process smooth and enjoyable. On the big day, they brought our vision to life beautifully, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere that was exactly what we wanted. The florals were to die for, the design was unmatched, and the planning went exactly as planned. Their organization and attention to detail allowed us to truly relax and enjoy every moment. sful and enjoyable. Ashley and her team are nothing short of incredibly talented. Their keen eye for design and impeccable attention to detail ensured that every element of our event was stunning. We partnered with them for the design and floral aspects, and I was blown away by the beauty they brought to life. Beyond their creative expertise, the team's organization and communication were exceptional. They kept everything on track and made sure that we always knew what to expect. No question went unanswered, and their proactive approach made planning much easier. A special shoutout to Julia, who was our amazing day-of coordinator. She handled everything with grace and precision, ensuring that our day ran smoothly from start to finish. Knowing that she was there managing the timeline and logistics allowed us relax and enjoy every moment of the day. Thanks to Ashley and Julia our wedding was everything we dreamed of and more. I can’t recommend them highly enough—they are truly the best in the business.

anized and calm no matter the situation. She is also so widely known and respected in the industry, as nearly every single other vendor we worked with had incredible things to say about her! I HIGHLY recommend her more for any wedding!

a friend’s floral plan from another florist and it was so messy and confusing I was a little nervous to see mine, but Ashley’s proposals are so easy to look at and read it made me feel extremely confident in my decision of hiring Ashley! All of the staff I met during set up were so kind and were such a great help day of the wedding! She gave me the best experience I could have asked for and gave me my dream flowers!

s super excited about my wedding day florals but also a bit nervous since we did not do any mock ups and I wasn't sure how they would turn out but they turned out PERFECTLY. Each floral piece was amazing and truly encompassed the fun, playful feel we wanted. We were also extremely impressed with our day of coordinator, Marissa, and how on top of everything she was. I knew after my in-person meeting with her that she would be amazing and she made our big day go by with ease! Highly recommend this company for all your wedding day needs! Thank you, Ashley Skeie Events!

urchased, and our flower arch which was our "wow piece" felt like a "Pinterest vs. Reality" fail moment. The top of the silver base was still exposed throughout and visible in all of our photos, and it looked significantly less full and shorter than what was included in our contract. To be transparent, we paid $3,000 for this arch and it looked incomplete and notably smaller than what was agreed upon. I will say Ashley took full responsibility for the missing corsages and gave us a full refund for them without us even asking, which we appreciated. When I asked about the use of the fake candles she noted that "there weren't enough candles" (we provided more candles than Ashley had advised us to purchase), she "didn't think it would be an issue" and "thought that would be the right call" without confirming with us or our planner. I responded that we were disappointed about the situation as those tables were our focal tables, and I haven't heard back from Ashley or her team since then, which is why I feel it's necessary to write this review. With the missing corsages, the use of fake candles, and our arch looking incomplete, we can't help but wonder if anyone took the time to double-check these details before considering the job done, especially for an event such as a wedding. I understand mistakes happen, but 3 noticeable mistakes for our wedding seem unacceptable. I just don't want other brides to pay for something and end up with a disappointing version without any response, or feel taken advantage of like I do now. The photos I included show what our flower arch was meant to look like per our contract, and what we received instead. Overall we’re disappointed in the outcome and the lack of response from this team since then. We can't shake the feeling that we were let down, and our wedding decor fell short due to a lack of effort and attention to detail from this floral team.

day was as seamless as it could be. The best part is her company does it all, floral, planning, advice, rentals. design, clean up, set up, you name it all under one roof. You couldn’t ask for something easier or more seamless. Ashley’s team of planners are just as wonderful as she is and will make your day incredible!! Best decision we made was hiring Ashley and her team to take care of our day!

er as our planner/DOC was a total game changer and saved me from so much stress. Ashley and her team are also the nicest and sweetest humans. They made the planning process so easy and wedding day go so smoothly. Their work sometimes truly goes unnoticed (especially since everything went according to plan without any hiccups) and that is something I appreciated so much on my wedding day. We also did flowers through Ashley and were blown away by how absolutely gorgeous our florals were! Ashley was patient and listened to vision and her the team executed everything to perfection! If you are on the fence about DOC or planning, DO IT, you will not regret having this amazing team of women working hard to make your wedding day the best, and smoothest running day ever!

! ASE provided day-of coordination and florals for our wedding at The Hutton House. ASE is a well-oiled machine and had systems in place so that I wouldn't forget any details in planning my day. I was so appreciative of the support from Ashley as I planned our special day and working with Ashley was so easy. She has so much experience in this industry as well as this local area; she was well-versed in the details of our venue, The Hutton House, as well as with our caterer, Fork & Flair. I would recommend ASE to any and all brides looking for dependable and experienced planning and management for their special day!

t perfectly! We chose to use them for wedding day management and florals which made everything so smooth and the flowers were AMAZING. The fact that their rental items came with the service was a huge selling point. I wasn't interested in buying items for one day and then having to figure out what to do with it afterwards, using their rentals was perfect for what we were looking for. Julia was our day of coordinator and she was absolutely amazing. So calm and collected, she blended into the day perfectly while keeping us on track with our goals for the evening. They walked through every possible detail beforehand which enabled us to just relax and enjoy the day we planned! We still have family talking about how smooth the day was and how impressed they were with Julia. I cannot recommend this team enough... they blew us away.

ust the best partners in helping the wedding coming off without a hitch. I really loved having florals and planning in one place, as well -- it made everything really simple and streamlined designed. Twin City couples, I can't recommend ASE enough!! Reach out to them if you want a stress-free wedding planning experience and gorgeous florals.

ons to the floral questionnaire, everything was well organized throughout our engagement season. Ashley was always upbeat and warm whenever we got to interact with her. On our wedding day, I had 100% peace of mind knowing Ashley was running the show from the schedule to the florals to decor setup. We absolutely loved our florals and got so many compliments on them! The day flowed perfectly thanks to Ashley, and she even bustled my dress for me! I couldn't have asked for a better DOC/florist! We now recommend her to friends and love seeing her at other weddings!

f of as far as what I was looking for, and what she created was absolutely perfect and blew my mind! We got so many compliments from friends and family on our flowers. I wouldn't have changed a single thing! I would highly, highly recommend working with Ashley for all your floral needs!

n a wedding and what we were looking for, but Ashley's guidance helped us figure it all out. The whole experience was smooth and peaceful, thanks to Ashley and her team's easygoing energy. They were able to calm our nerves when we felt anxious. I highly recommend Ashley Skeie Events to all future couples!

’s wedding from start to finish, she did it all and we couldn’t have been happier with the outcome! She was able to execute my daughters’s vision along with give suggestions. We loved all of her vendor recommendations. And most importantly, she and her team are wonderful people who can handle all of our wedding stress with grace and love!

xtensive collection of rental items included with our package and the monthly checklists of to-do items. It really made planning a breeze! The real star of our experience was Brittany. From our planning meeting 6 weeks before to the very last dance, Brittany was professional, supportive, and all around an incredible person to have by our side on our big day! She was organized and communicated seamlessly with our other vendors. From the moment she greeted us on the day of to walking out the door after our last dance, she brought a calm, collected energy and you could tell that her entire focus was on making our day perfect! Not only did she put us at ease throughout the day, seemingly appearing out of no where any time we needed her, our family and wedding party truly appreciated her presence. We truly do not have enough great things to say about Brittany, Ashley, and the Ashley Skeie team. Run, don't walk, to book them for your event!

m to work with. Their attention to detail and creative ideas were exceptional, making our wedding vision come to life. On the day of the wedding, their coordination was flawless, ensuring that everything ran smoothly. She also made all my floral dreams come true! The overhang, bouquets, displays - it was beyond beautiful! I couldn't have asked for a better wedding planner, and I would give them 5 over and over again!

nowing. Ashley knows exactly what she is doing and how to get it done. you. must. hire. her. seriously!!!!! you will not regret it. I even had a total moment of panic and she helped calm me down and even gave me a foot massage - like who does that!?!?! love love love ashley & team. use them!!!!!!

for their weddings, because of how amazing our experience was! We hired Ashley Skeie Events for Day-of Coordinating/Event Management & Floral Design, but their Event Management package goes way beyond just day of coordinating. All of their planning resources are so thoughtfully designed, they made planning our wedding so much easier especially since I didn’t even know where to start - ha! Being able to use their rental inventory was also such an amazing perk, as it took so much off of our plates not having to purchase & coordinate all different kinds of candle holders, glassware, dessert accessories, etc. The Ashley Skeie Events team takes care of it all in terms of setting up & taking it all down - it truly is amazing! Don’t even get me started on their Floral Design - literally works of art!!! From the florals hanging from our backdrop that we got married in front of, to the mismatched monochromatic bridesmaid bouquets & my amazingly beautiful bridal bouquet - I was OBSESSED & AM STILL OBSESSED with it all!! We were so blessed & lucky to have Ashley herself & Brittany for our wedding day, and they both were amazing. They took care of everything, so we could be so present and just enjoy our special day. I was so relaxed and at ease because of Ashley & Brittany!! Brittany also had the most beautiful wedding earlier this year!! Check out Ashley Skeie Event’s website for more of their wedding highlights so you can see more of this team’s magic :)) Ashley & her team made all of our dreams come true, & I can’t thank them enough for it! Hire them for all your wedding & event needs - you will be happy & glad you did!!

ortless day without her and the Ashley Skeies team!

shley put together was stunning. Everything I could have wanted. We went with Event Management because our vendor required a day of coordinator---- absolutely amazing and a must in my opinion. Julia did an incredible job managing our asks, everything day of, and keeping us on track. Day of I did not worry about a thing. I would highly recommend both Julia and Ashley's whole team for event planning AND Florals!

We did a final walk through at my venue about one month ahead of the wedding and she totally understood my vision. She was also very helpful with reminders and last minute changes before. She took care of everything on the day of the wedding and relieved me of all stress. I didn't have to work with a single vendor or answer questions from vendors, guests, family because Paige was my go-to gal. Ashley Skeie events also has an amazing rental inventory which saved me a ton of money and time because they bring all of that, set it up, and pick up at the end of the night. I really just can't get over how helpful a day of coordinator is, and I could not recommend using Ashley Skeie, Paige and the team more.

cture. My first meeting with Ashley I knew she was going to take my vision to the next level. We hired her for partial planning, day of coordinator, design & floral. Let me tell you - this was THE BEST MONEY I EVER SPENT. I would not have had a wedding without her and her team. Each planning session was so fun. She was able to pull all the thoughts out of my brain and knew exactly what I wanted - even when I couldn't tell her. Her planning / organization skills are impeccable. Her rentals are beautiful and more than I could have expected. Her florals are jaw dropping. She had the best team supporting her. Jaycee and Marissa ended up at our wedding the day of, and they truly are just an extension of Ashley. They knew exactly what to do, I didn't even have to ask them for anything. They anticipated my every question, move, next step, brought me food, water, cocktails & kept me so calm. The set up was BEAUTIFUL. They take care of everything from set up, to room flip, to tear down. They make sure to answer anyone's questions the day of so people aren't bothering the bridal party. They are honestly the NICEST people. They have the best attitude and truly just want to make your day special. They felt like some of our biggest supporters & closest friends that day. They all worked so well with all our other vendors. They put together an easy to read timeline. They coordinated with everyone so everyone knew exactly what was going on at all times. The day and my entire experience with Ashley & her team was truly flawless. I found some vendors I never would have known about if it wasn't for them - and they only work with the very best. I never thought I'd enjoy wedding planning (details make me anxious), but Ashley made my experience so much fun I may have to renew my vows in a year or two, just so I can work with her again!! I can't say THANK YOU enough!

xecuted better. If you're looking for a wedding planner in the twin cities, Ashley's full service wedding planner package is for you!

orked with Brittany and Katie on our wedding day and they were incredible - the whole day was seamless from top to bottom! A huge perk to working with ASE is their expansive rental inventory - it made our planning process so much easier to have all of our decor brought in by their team.

! The flowers were absolutely stunning, and the guests just loved them too. Ashley's monthly to-do lists helped to keep me on task with the planning process. Jaycee and Katie ran our wedding the day-of, and they were absolutely wonderful! Everything ran so smoothly, and they helped everything run on time. We couldn't have asked for anything more, and it was so nice to focus on our guests and each other rather than worry about the logistics on our wedding day. I would highly recommend hiring Ashley Skeie Events for your planning needs and floral!

my day of coordinators were AMAZING! They dealt with every obstacle thrown at them with ease, and handled everything themselves so I was none the wiser of any issues. They made our families and wedding party feel so comfortable, it felt like having friends with us throughout the whole day. HIGHLY recommend having day of coordination, especially Ashley Skeie's team!

d they were with the entire planning process they were even though we only hired them for day of coordination. The monthly checklist emails kept us on track and her preferred vendors are all incredible. We don't have a strong knowledge of florals and Ashley took the snippets of what we loved and pieced together amazing floral arrangements. The room reveal was a highlight of our day and we can't recommend ASE enough!

e has a way of making you feel incredibly special and at ease with your wedding day plans. She truly has it all under control and our vendors have full confidence in her as well. Our wedding day was perfect in every way and it's all thanks to her. She is an amazing human who truly cares about her work and her clients. I cannot recommend her enough.

t, our preferences, and the color scheme of our wedding. We cannot recommend their day-of services strongly enough. Ashley and Paige kept regular contact with us, and were essential in keeping our planning on track from the time we hired to the day of our wedding. Paige and Carmen did a wonderful job of setting up, managing, and breaking down on the day of our wedding. Paige packed up the car that was transporting our supplies home that night and brought it to the front of the venue’s entrance. If you’re on the fence in regards to hiring a day of coordinator, we HIGHLY recommend it! It made our day go so smoothly. Ashley Skeie Events is simply the best!!

of our nerves and stress around wedding planning. We ended up having to postpone our wedding due to Covid, and she was very flexible and understanding. She is so organized and easy to work with and really made the process easy for us. Not only did our wedding day go so smoothly, but the decor for the ceremony and reception were stunning, and we loved our bouquets! We are so thankful for her hard work and for making our wedding day so beautiful and stress free! Thank you Ashley!

ailed. She was a joy to work with and every detail of the day was taken care of. She also set up THE most gorgeous reception room I’ve ever seen! It was breathtaking! As a planner and a florist, Ashley is the best of the best!!

important the day of. They help make your vision come to life in all aspects - from the coordination, rental inventory and floral design! #1 vendor I would recommend to anyone looking to plan their wedding!!!

ing day. We were matched up with Katie, who was so amazing! We met in person and walked through every detail (vendors, timelines, emergency contacts, etc.). Katie asked questions that you do not think of as never planned a wedding before. Ashley and Katie were so supportive during the process, answered ALL our questions within 24 hours and we felt that they cared about us as a couple and wanted our day to be special. Katie came to our church rehearsal and made sure everything ran smoothly and helped the bridal party know exactly where to be! On the day of, Katie arrived during hair + makeup and was there helping the vendors with any questions they had and anything else that needed to be done. Katie and her assistant were there all day, staying until the very end which made our lives the day of, stress free! For the last few months of wedding planning and now post wedding, we tell family and friends that hiring Ashley's team was the best decision we made!!!
