fter our wedding on June 14. (Do not give your vendor reviews before they provide deliverables, a lesson learned). Per our contract, we were supposed to receive our photos within 8 weeks. After 10 weeks had passed, and after I reached out twice with no response or explanation, I sent a third email noting that this was now a breach of contract. Instead of an apology or clarification, our gallery suddenly arrived the next morning without any communication from her. The photos themselves were devastatingly disappointing. I actually cried looking through them because they were nothing like our sneak peeks or engagement session. The editing was inconsistent; some were extremely oversaturated, while others looked completely unedited. On top of that, we paid extra for 35mm film photos, which she admitted she forgot to take. She refunded us the cost, but of course that doesn’t make up for missing out on something we trusted her to capture on our wedding day. When we raised our concerns about the editing and the rushed feel of the photos, she admitted some of the edits were inconsistent and promised to re-edit. That was weeks ago. I provided specific examples as she requested, but since then I have followed up multiple times with zero response. Once again, total silence. We are STILL waiting to hear from her. She did mention that she had personal things going on, and I completely understand that life happens. Had she simply communicated with us, asked for more time, or been transparent, it wouldn’t have been an issue. The real problem was the repeated lack of professionalism, constant unresponsiveness, breach of contract, and the fact that we invested a lot financially only to be left disappointed with the most important photos of our lives. I strongly caution anyone considering booking with her. While our engagement photos were a highlight, the wedding experience was the exact opposite. Lack of communication, broken promises, and subpar results made what should’ve been a joyful memory extremely stressful and disappointing.

She was responsive while we rescheduled and ensured that we still received the same experience when circumstances changed. The session was so comfortable and the photos were beautiful and helped to commemorate a special moment in our lives for years to come.

She helped alleviate any concerns and fears we had from our first call, was timely and present any time we had questions, and made sure to listen to and discuss any ideas we had regarding our vision and preferences. Ashley was one of the primary reasons our wedding day experience was incredible. She and her second photographer arrived early and helped us stay ahead of schedule. Her communication was clear and effective for ourselves, along with our bridal parties and families. Most importantly, she made it easy for us to cherish our first look and ceremony, while capturing beautiful, meaningful, and genuine pictures in the process. Overall, we would strongly recommend Ashley to any couple in North Carolina and beyond. Every moment we spent with her, both in the planning process and our wedding day, were comfortable and exciting; and our pictures have turned out beautifully and been exactly what we were looking for.

e at the start of November, but due to Helene it had to be moved to Charlotte. Without missing a beat, Ashley was able to make it here to Charlotte and shoot the wedding like she had been in the venue hundreds of times. We also had guests joke that whenever there was a memorable or funny moment, Ashley was right there getting the picture. We are incredibly thankful we had the opportunity to work with Ashley!

was my friend. Even at our wedding I had several friends and family members comment on how much they liked her. It was like she was a guest at our wedding and not just our photographer. As someone who does not really like to have pictures taken of them, Ashley made me feel completely at ease and I loved all of the photos she took! We would absolutely love to use her again in the future for other big life moments!

nd the wedding all went incredibly smoothly, and everything we've gotten back from her has looked fantastic. We were a bit nervous going in since neither of us had had professional pictures taken before, but Ashley made the whole experience a lot of fun. On top of her photography skills being great, she also was super flexible with us after the hurricane hit WNC. We had to change our wedding plans last minute, and she was able to work things out to where she was still able to come and be our photographer even with the new venue being several hours away from where we had originally planned. Being able to keep her was such a relief during the chaos of replanning a wedding, and we can't thank her enough for making it happen.

at least 10 photographers, set up phone/zoom meetings with 5, and the second we got off the phone with Ashley, I knew she was the one. She walked through a hypothetical timeline with us and it felt like we were catching up with an old friend by the end of the conversation. Every interaction we’ve had with her since then has had the same vibe—just really fun, simple, and easy. I got a horrible spray tan and makeup done before our engagement pictures, and my mom was able to fix my makeup to some extent, but Ashley made me look and feel super confident and fabulous the whole time. And the pictures straight up looked like they could’ve been in a magazine. The wedding day was even more perfect. I was still getting my hair and makeup done when Ashley arrived, so our morning was running like an hour behind and Ashley still made everything happen without making me feel rushed at all. Everyone says you don’t remember your wedding day, but I remember every single moment, and a lot of that is thanks to Ashley. And it's not just because she captured all our special moments in pictures; it's because she helped the day flow smoothly and helped us focus on what was most important to us. She made us look and feel exactly like ourselves all day, she made sure we had time to breathe and enjoy each other, and the pictures really reflect that. My husband is introverted and much more comfortable behind the camera than in front of it, but Ashley and her second shooter (Destinee) made it super easy for him to feel comfortable all day.
