During our engagement photo shoot, she made us laugh and feel comfortable while also teaching us how to pose and not look awkward lol! Her recommended list of engagement photo spots were all amazing and it was hard to choose just two! We still get so many compliments on how beautiful, classy, and elegant our engagement photos are. They look natural and candid while still having some elements of posing (to make us look good)! She was very responsive and helpful throughout the entire wedding planning process. The day of the wedding, her and her second shooter Ray, kept everything running smoothly. They arrived early and kept the day running on time. They were honest yet funny when telling us what to do and kept everyone in line (which is a feat for our families)! I love that their styles totally compliment each other. They made sure we got all of the shots we wanted while also taking creative liberty to get some different shots we would have not thought of! Ashley just made us feel at ease from the beginning of this process to the very end. I cannot speak highly enough of her and her team. I cannot wait to see our wedding photos!

While it may seem like work for the client, its important to communicate key details so she can plan accordingly. As for the wedding day, we had Ashley take photos of the "getting ready", followed by the bridal party and parents at the Missouri Botanical Gardens (Highly recommend as well), and then the main Ceremony and a few hours of the party. Throughout the day, we were taken away by Ashley's quality, vision and commitment to her work. With so many things going on during your wedding day, the photographer must stay focused and flexible (weather changes, cranky bride, etc), and Ashley's team was just that. Lastly, her photobooth at the Reception was a big hit, as our guests enjoyed the funky props. We thank you again and cant wait for the final pictures to be produced.

Day of, she was great at taking charge and getting everyone organized. We had a LOT of family, but she was able to get everyone to listen so that photos went smoothly. was the PERFECT fit. She was so personable and knowledgeable about the entire wedding process! She followed up with us several times over the next few months to make sure she knew exactly what we wanted and that there were no lingering questions. On the day of our wedding, Ashley and her assistant showed up with the best attitudes and ready to help with whatever we needed. There were several times she gave me an encouraging "pep talk" to calm me down when details with other vendors weren't coming to fruition exactly as I had planned - definitely something she didn't have to do but is so appreciated. I felt like she was right there for me the entire time and was able to capture exactly what I wanted in a very non-invasive, "non-stagy" way. We absolutely LOVED working with her. After our wedding, we received a "teaser" blog with some of the most stunning images I've ever seen! We couldn't wait until we got to view them all! Only a few weeks later, we had access to ALL 2,000 photos and there is not even one that disappoints. They are truly incredible, timeless pieces that capture every detail, every mood, and every feeling that day. We are SO happy we went with Ashley and are blessed to have her work to share with our kids and grandkids down the road!

rther than Ashley Fisher Photography! She spent a lot of time getting to know us as a couple and hearing what was most important to us on our wedding day. She listened carefully about what wedding picture style we wanted (editorial and light) and she DELIVERED! She made us all feel very comfortable and relaxed all throughout the day. I honestly (and I mean honestly) wasn't stressed at all the entire day and I attribute much of this to how well Ashley is able to ease any fears you might have, help address any problems that might come up (I refer to her as a therapist and wedding coordinator as well as photographer extraordinaire), and overall help your day be everything that you hoped it would be. I didn't know Ashley before I hired her but over the length of our engagement Ashley has truly become a friend. I refer her to EVERYONE because she is truly that good! To share a true story: one of my bridesmaids is getting married after me and already selected her photographer. Halfway through my wedding she asked her fiance if they could fire their photographer and hire Ashley because she was so blown away by how awesome she is. THAT'S how great she is, people! One piece of advice I can give all brides who hire Ashley is this: communicate thoroughly what's important to you in your wedding pictures, take any advice Ashley gives you about timeline, which vendors are best, etc. She has been in the industry for a long time and knows weddings better than we as brides do. I assure you of this! The second piece of that advice is to forget all about your wedding pictures on the day of your wedding and have an amazing time celebrating. Ashley will direct you when necessary but her true strength is take exceptional pictures when you don't even notice she's there. One of my best memories of my wedding was just savoring all of the moments as they came and passed. Photography was one of the most important details to me but it was also one of the things I almost forgot about completely because Ashley was so good at capturing the moments and making everyone look flattering without them even aware that the picture was being taken. For portraits, which are a bit more posed, Ashley had a KEEN eye to detail. She was able to quickly move through each picture while ensuring everyone looked amazing. To give you an example, Ashley went through the family portraits exceptionally fast but noticed even the smallest details like my husband's dad's pocket being just slightlyyyy out. It's a magical thing to watch. I have never seen anyone with this level of perfectionism while still operating as quickly as she does.
