Working with Paul at Ascot Diamonds was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. His knowledge of diamond inventory made finding the perfect stone effortless, and his exce...
ptional service, paired with quick responsiveness, made us feel supported every step of the way. Both Kevin and I worked with Paul to design our custom wedding bands, and he brought our vision to life. The result was everything we hoped for, and more.
What stood out the most was how Paul made us feel—completely valued and treated with the same care and professionalism as any other couple. In situations where same-sex couples can sometimes encounter awkwardness, Paul created an environment of comfort and acceptance, treating us with genuine warmth and respect. His approach made the entire process not only easy but truly enjoyable, and it was clear that he cared about making our experience special. Paul cares about his clients.
On top of his outstanding service, Paul's pricing was incredibly competitive—often coming in below what other jewelers offered, without compromising quality. If you're seeking a personalized, high-quality experience without breaking the bank, Paul is absolutely the jeweler to trust. He goes above and beyond to make sure your piece is perfect, and we couldn’t recommend him more highly.
We truly cannot speak highly enough of Ascot Diamonds generally, and Paul specifically! If you are looking for a perfect engagement ring (or any piece of jewelry for that matter), ...
look no further. Paul is your guy!!
My now fiancé and I visited quite a few jewelers and chain stores before finding Ascot, and right away we could tell that Ascot was the way to go. During our first appointment, Paul walked us through every single thing there is to know about diamonds with so much expertise and experience; we were blown away (we thought we knew everything there was to know at that point, and oh my gosh we were wrong). His years of experience, deep passion, kindness and warmth, and sense of humor make him the best teacher there is.
Once we decided to move forward with Paul, the process of designing our dream engagement ring was as easy, fun, and effortless as could be. Paul knew just what questions to ask and what stones and settings to show us, and he listened so closely to everything we said about what we wanted in our ring. He was extremely communicative, available, patient, and easy to work with — a true master of diamonds who is unbelievably talented and kind. We swung by Ascot at our convenience (Paul always made time for us!) to double check sizing, look at the same stone for the second and third time, and confirm everything was perfect.
The final product absolutely blew us away. It is stunning, and exactly what we imagined. We cannot wait to work with Paul for our wedding rings and all of our future jewelry needs, and we truly cannot sing his praises enough! Paul is incredible, and anyone would be lucky to work with him!
We went to Ascot Diamonds for the engagement ring and both wedding bands and could not have been happier with the service we received. Paul is incredibly knowledgeable and did a fa...
ntastic job guiding us toward the perfect rings without ever feeling pushy. We even moved out-of-state early on in our engagement and Ascot still made it easy to purchase our wedding bands. We couldn't recommend Paul and Ascot Diamonds highly enough!

We loved our experience at Ascot Diamonds. Paul Jacobs was so informative, easy to work with and we love our rings. We shopped at quite a few stores shopping for rings, but once we...
went to see Paul, no one else compared. He helps us make a data driven decision, and applied 0 pressure. He was super transparent, and I was able to get a very delicate band. My husband also got my wedding present earrings from Paul. Ascot will be our go to for life!

the diamond to choose, and sped up the delivery to allow me to propose earlier. He was honest and trustworthy in his advice, and the ring looks amazing!
Ascot diamonds was pleasure to work with. They resized my engagement ring perfectly and created an elegant match for my wedding band.

e about the industry, and one of the best businessmen I have ever met. He never once pressured us to buy a diamond, and he gave us all the attention and information we needed to find the perfect diamond. We settled on Ascot for my fiancé's rings because we trusted Paul and his recommendations were perfect! I have since recommended four different individuals to Ascot, and each one of them has not only had an amazing experience there they have also all purchased their diamonds from Paul as well. If I am ever in need of further diamond jewelry I will most certainly be purchasing from Ascot again.
I had a fantastic experience at Ascot Diamonds! I went with my fiancé and met with Paul who took a lot of time to provide me with an in depth education on diamonds. They were willi...
ng to make any changes to a potential ring down to the tenth of a millimeter but never pressured me into buying something out of my budget. In the end, I got the perfect engagement ring that we’re both enthralled with! We’ll definitely be back for wedding bands!
We came across Jill at Ascot Diamonds back in 2013 when my then boyfriend, now husband, and I began searching for a jeweler to help with the engagement ring process. We thoroughly...
searched jewelers and researched diamonds because we had no idea what we were doing and were scared of getting taken advantage of. Ascot was recommended to us by a customer of mine, after noticing her absolutely gorgeous engagement ring. Her fiancee told me about all of their extensive research they did in DC and NYC for the best jeweler and how Ascot was by far their best experience, best quality for the price, etc. We figured it was worth a try, and I am SOOO glad we found them. Jill at Ascot has been our jeweler for 5 years now. She worked with us (and then my husband for many months afterwards) to locate the perfect diamond, together they created a custom made engagement ring that I adore. We got our wedding rings there, I got a ring after the birth of each of my children, and we just got a custom made necklace of the birthstones of each of our children (my first experience with gemstones!). Each time Jill gave us plenty of options without being overwhelming, researched diamonds, and or gemstones, ring options, etc. and helped us customize everything so it was perfect for me. I also brought her my grandmothers old necklace that we "modernized" with her help and their jeweler's great skills. I cannot say enough amazing things about this place. So easy to work with, so comfortable, the quality is amazing, the price is extremely reasonable, you will not find a better jeweler. Honestly, if we ever move out of this area, we will drive or fly back to DC to work with them for more pieces. I love Ascot!
