If I could give Armstrong Farms and the Fieldstone Barn more than five stars, I would.
From the moment we toured the property, we knew it was something special. The setting is beautiful and peaceful. What truly set it apart, however, was the outstanding team and the seamless experience they created for our family.
One of the biggest advantages of choosing Armstrong Farms was having access to the property for the entire weekend. We were able to decorate on Friday, hold our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner on-site, and enjoy time together without traveling between locations. The rehearsal dinner was held outdoors with a bonfire and provided the perfect opportunity for family and friends to relax and reconnect before the wedding day.
The accommodations were wonderful. The bridal party stayed together in the bridal house, which comfortably housed the bride and six bridesmaids. The groomsmen stayed in a separate house just a few minutes away. The bridal house included a full kitchen, allowing us to enjoy breakfast and lunch together while everyone prepared for the day. We hired an on-site hair and makeup team, and there was plenty of room for everyone to work comfortably.
The Armstrong Farms team was exceptional from start to finish. Communication throughout the planning process was outstanding. My daughter lives out of state, which can make wedding planning challenging, but the team accommodated us with Zoom meetings and regular updates that kept everything on track. They also met with vendors before the wedding to ensure everyone was aligned, which made an enormous difference on the wedding day.
We appreciated the list of recommended vendors. While not required, the vendors were excellent and familiar with the venue, which helped everything— from deliveries to setup to day-of logistics—run smoothly.
Another unexpected benefit was the Prop Shop. Armstrong Farms offers a wonderful collection of décor items, signage, easels, crates, baskets, and decorative pieces that couples can use. This saved us both time and money.
A special thank-you to Kristi, who was a pleasure to work with. She answered every question we had and guided us through the planning process with patience, professionalism, and kindness.
And then there was Anna, our wedding coordinator, who was simply extraordinary. I cannot say enough about her. She anticipated needs before we even knew we had them, kept everyone organized, and made the entire weekend feel effortless. She led the rehearsal so efficiently that everyone understood exactly where they needed to be after just one walkthrough, while also making the experience fun for everyone involved. Throughout the wedding day and reception, she managed the timeline while always keeping the bride and groom’s needs as her top priority.
As the mother of the bride, I received countless compliments about how smooth and organized the entire day was. People kept asking me how I managed it all, and my answer was simple: “Anna.”

The venue was originally established as a bed and breakfast in 1996. Since then, the farm has welcomed hundreds of couples, all with a unique love story that weaves through the estate. The property features two restored barns to host the celebrations - Fieldstone and Westminster Preserve. The former is the epitome of refined elegance and sits between rolling pastures, offering scenic landscape views. The barn can comfortably accommodate up to 150 guests, or couples can make use of the outdoor deck that can fit a further 30 people. For celebrations of more than 180 guests, Westminster Preserve is the perfect fit. The vast space is complete with high ceilings and original beams decorated with twinkling lights for a romantic setting. The barn comes with an adjoining arbor, ideal for a cocktail hour under the crimson skies.

om cannot stop talking about what a good job our coordinator, Kristi, did. I loved that set up and tear down was included and that we were able to save time, money, and effort because Armstrong provided their own tables and chairs. And the prop shed was so well stocked, it was so easy to decorate. We all loved having access to the space starting at noon the day before our wedding so we didn't have to rush to setup and didn't have to book a separate rehearsal dinner space. My one caution note is that only the kitchen sinks in the lodging houses have water filters, so you get the full well water experience in the bathrooms. But for an entire weekend of lodging for our whole crew, the space was great.

so kind to us and our guests. Our coordinator Kaelyn really thought through everything and made sure we were set up for anything and everything we could want. We were able to select our own caterer and all other vendors and even bring in our own alcohol which saved us thousands. They even offer a prop shed that you can borrow tons of decor from, included in the package! The ability to stay on-site was a game changer and is something that sets this venue apart from most others that we looked at - we got access at noon on Friday and didn’t have to go anywhere except our welcome party until Sunday at 10am. It was cute, cozy and felt so peaceful all weekend. Waking up on wedding day to see the fog over the pond and get to go out exploring the property in the morning with my bridesmaids was so special and something I didn’t think would mean so much to me. They were flexible and understanding with any of our concerns or questions we had over the two years we planned our wedding. I would recommend having your wedding at Armstrong Farms a thousand times over!

different reception location & this venue did just that & more, from the ceremony down by the pond to the cocktail hour in the barn & outside to dinner in the tent & dancing back in the barn , 2 bars every thing was absolutely perfect, if you are looking for a farm style wedding that’s not too far but just far enough from the city this was my fairy tale wedding venue. We utilized a horse and carriage into our ceremony as well. From Marlene being our lovely tour guide to Kristi being so kind & answering all of my questions through the process to Lori our coordinator who I just adored, everyone was amazing I can’t say enough good things about our experience with Armstrong Farms.

. This was the first property we toured and from the moment we drove up, we knew it was the one, no questions. We chose the Westminster location. Our ceremony was held in-front of the pond. The nature and ducks swimming in the background on the pond was truly magical. Dinner reception was held in their beautiful huge white tent. so spacious and open for our guests to enjoy the beautiful scenery as the sun set behind our sweetheart table! The barn was a dream come true for me. It was perfect, decorated with fairy lights and lanterns. I cannot express how perfect it was.
We also got even more lucky with their incredible wedding coordinator Lori.
Lori has to be one of the sweetest, kindest people I’ve ever met. She helped me TREMENDOUSLY with answering all questions, getting anything and everything I needed from their incredible prop shop, along with taking away my stress and anxiety. This beautiful lady was exceptional and the property chose the best that’s out there. I can’t wait to write another review in a few weeks with more pictures from our photographer to share our dream day. The owners created such an incredible place. ALSO, having the venue for the entire weekend was amazing. Our rehearsal dinner was held on the big back deck, overlooking the pond and adorable cows. Our guests also were able to enjoy the bone fire on the property both Friday and Saturday night which they loved.

operty is beautiful for a wedding and the entire staff helped to make our day extra special. One thing in particular we loved about Armstrong Farms was the ability to rent the facility for the entire weekend so we could enjoy the property for the whole weekend rather than just the day of the wedding. This was perfect for us to be able to set up on Friday and have one less thing to worry about on our wedding day. Having 2 cottages on-site allowed us to provide our wedding party with a place to stay and hang out for the weekend which we loved! The entire team was awesome to work with, quickly responding to any questions that we had. Our day-of-coordinator, Kaelyn, helped the entire day go smoothly and took so much off our plate - we truly couldn’t have enjoyed the day the same without all of her help! If you are looking for a barn wedding, we couldn’t recommend Armstrong Farms more!

eforehand, leading up to the week of, and of course the weekend of, Lori was on it - always prepared and knew exactly where anything we needed was.
The venue itself was stunning. We had 80 people and it was more than enough space for everyone, as well as a sizable dance floor. The downstairs area of Fieldstone provided the most beautiful cocktail hour.
They also have decorations available for use on site that you can just go and grab when you please. This allowed for a few last minute changes as far as our decorations went without any hiccups along the way.
All in all, Fieldstone was the perfect place for us to get married. It was quaint, beautiful, warm and welcoming, and just everything we could've hoped for. Being able to stay on site in the guest house made things so easy the weekend of, as well. We cannot recommend Armstrong Farms enough as a venue. Everyone is so kind and responsive, and the venue itself is stunning.

When you book their venue, you are provided with housing for the ENTIRE weekend. This was a huge help! Instead of driving back and forth all weekend from rehearsal dinners to wedding day, I was able to be at my venue all weekend. No need to book hotels because they have housing covered. This was a huge task taken off of my plate.
The venue is beautiful. I was worried that it was going to rain on my wedding day (which it did). My ceremony was inside, but it was still gorgeous. The farms made sure to flip the lower level of the barn after our ceremony to get ready for cocktail hour. It was flawless!
A main thing when planning a wedding is communication. When I emailed the farms or my coordinator (kaelyn) I was provided with a response not even hours later. this made my planning seamless! My coordinator, Kaelyn, did an amazing job before, during, and after the wedding. she ensured that everything was in line and ready to go for the wedding. The day of she provided support and make certain that everything was handled. it was amazing to have someone so organized to help me with my special day!
I have no complaints about this venue. i had the wedding of my dreams. if you want a stress free venue that will help you every step of the way, please check out Armstrong farms :)

We planned on having an outdoor ceremony, however the weather had other plans. When the weather changed an hour before our outdoor ceremony, the Armstrong Farms staff hauled the chairs inside and found an arch to use my flowers. We cannot express our gratitude to Armstrong Farms for making our wedding weekend run smoothly!

ms to life! It is definitely important to have a vision and clear plan for decorating/execution of details in your day. The coordinator helps with the flow of the day and providing scheduling/venue-specific directions, but it is up to you to be well-planned and delegate tasks to your helpers! (These roles were explained well ahead of time, so this was not a surprise.)
We had our rehearsal dinner on-site and utilized the on-site lodging (cottages) for our wedding party and ourselves throughout the weekend. It is so convenient and fun to be able to stay at the venue for several days as we prepared and spent quality time in anticipation and later celebration with our family and friends. Many members of our wedding party frequently mentioned how special it was to spend the night before our wedding all making memories and getting excited together in one big "sleepover" of sorts. The accommodations were quite cozy. It was wonderful to wake up exactly where we needed to be and to also be able to have our ceremony and reception at the same site (cuts transportation costs and also makes it easier for older friends and family for whom mobility and transportation independence is a challenge). The staff at Armstrong were flexible in allowing us to have our ceremony down by the water even on a day when the ground was soggy after rain. We were determined to highlight this beautiful natural aspect of the venue that we had so fallen in love with, and they went to every effort to make our wishes come true, even when it was challenging. (They even allowed us to roll out artificial turf as an aisle to make walking in the wet grass easier!) I recognize that at many places, we would have been told "no" to having our ceremony down by the water with ground conditions like that, and I am so so grateful that they ran with our hopes! The owner, Andy, and coordinators Davlin and Nicole were on-site all day to answer questions and assist us as needed. Andy's expertise in years of venue direction is obvious in conversation and his leadership, and he was a very reassuring presence throughout the day. They communicated efficiently, kindly, and expertly with our vendors to answer any questions and make sure everyone was where they needed to be.
Beautiful space with scenic outdoors for photos. We had our wedding on 5/18/24, and we can't wait to get the photos back! We enjoyed the farm atmosphere with animals and wildlife nearby, but definitely make sure you are accepting of that! (We even had a snapping turtle nearby during morning set-up!) It added to the fun of the day.
Armstrong Farms helped make our dreams a reality, and all our guest could not stop commenting on the beauty and "rustic elegance" of the venue. Ample space for eating, socializing, and dancing in the barn/tent throughout the reception as well. Best day of our lives!

enue was. As an added bonus, you’re able to stay the whole weekend. We checked in Friday at noon and didn’t leave the property until Sunday morning. This takes finding accommodations and a location for the rehearsal dinner off your list! They also have a prop shop with various decorations that can be used. Finally, the staff was fantastic and extremely helpful. Kristi was our head coordinator and she had the support of Nicole for the weekend. Even our initial contact and tour with Marlene was great! I highly recommend Armstrong Farms!

As a bride you always want your wedding weekend to be the most stress-free relaxing weekend of your life and honestly I’m in the business myself, and I’ve been a bride myself and you can really see the effort and appreciate the amenities and accommodations that Armstrong Farms provides to make your wedding weekend the best it can possibly be. You also get the freedom of bringing in your own vendors and alcohol which is really nice and can help you to stay within your own personal budget. Another awesome perk is no matter the time of year you can have both your ceremony and reception at Armstrong Farms which can save on transportation costs!! Not only that but the property itself is really beautiful for plenty of amazing photo opportunities. Another plus is that you can get married all year round with Armstrong Farms. Since I got married in DecemberI had double the property to take pictures on (Westminster and Fieldstone location) Honestly 1,000/10 for this venue I would recommend this venue to anyone and everyone! We absoutely loved our wedding planner (included), Deanndra. She was flexable during our planning proccess, making our day go smooth. She was also boots on the ground on our big day, ensuring everything ran smoothly, which it did. Most of our vendors, photographer, caterer, DJ, ect, have been at Armstrong Farms before, making everything run smoother.
We can't say enough about this venue, it was absoutely wonderful. We had a December wedding and it was decorated beautifuly with what we (my wife and I) picked from their barn full of decor. We had 13 tables, about 120 guests, and that was just enought room for dancing without feeling cramped inside.

They also have a “prop shop” to utilize for your decor, so I had to buy very minimal decor, which ending up saving us a ton of money! They provide a day of coordinator and if you book I hope you get Deanndra. Deanndra was a gem to work with. I am so thankful she didn’t mind my random early morning /late evening texts because something popped into my mind. She made our day run smoothly. Her communication is a 10/10 and she helps you every step of the way even if you ask her for her opinion on something she will never steer you in the wrong direction. If I had a company, I would hire Deanndra! This venue along with Deanndra made my wedding dreams a reality. I would highly recommend Armstrong Farms and their team for your big day.

(and then some). From beginning to end Armstrong staff (Marlene, Shannon, and Kayla ) cared for every detail. They answered numerous questions and guided us through each step- even helping us to select vendors that they knew had a great reputation. It's wonderful because we rented it for the whole weekend, The bride, groom and extended family were able stay on the premises and decompress, not having to run everywhere. We had the rehearsal dinner on the beautiful deck that overlooked the pond and ceremony site. A view that was stunning- especially at sun set. It was nice that family was able to get ready on site- and eased any fears of late arrivals etc. A huge shout out to Marlene who assisted us in rehearsal dinner preparations. As well as an enormous shout out to Shannon and Kayla who saved the wedding day. We had a hiccup in the afternoon where florist forgot to deliver the ceremony arch. These ladies thought outside the box and secured an arch from their all so helpful prop shop. They decorated themselves with remaining flowers. it was gorgeous, and I must admit much better than what florist was going to provide. Again- I can't say enough about the gorgeous venue and amazing staff. If I could give this a 10-star review, I would- you will not be disappointed if you choose this for your venue.

is rustic, but not a barn. The Fieldstone building and the surrounding grounds are lovely.
The staff was excellent: Marlene Micko, with whom we initially booked the venue; Kristi Sherge, in the office, during our planning process; and nearer to the event, Deanndra Wetzel, who was our Armstrong Farms coordinator for the day of the wedding. Each of these people was responsive, reliable, and very helpful. The high quality of the staff played a big part in our decision to choose Armstrong Farms.
We also hired a wedding planner, who was familiar with Armstrong Farms.
Having your wedding at a place like Armstrong Farms, where you have to provide your own venders, can be more work than having it at a place where everything is provided; but you can choose your venders to suit your style, your vision for your wedding, and your budget.
Our daughter had her heart set on an outdoor wedding, but, of course, alternative plans are necessary in planning, to take weather into account. Armstrong Farms allowed us to be flexible with our planning. Due to a prediction of rain, we had the wedding ceremony on the wrap-around porch -- it was a lovely setting -- our daughter said that should have been Plan A to begin with. Before and after the ceremony, we were able to take many beautiful photos on the grounds. The Fieldstone building was great for the cocktail hour and reception.
Everything about the wedding day was wonderful! Many guests told us that this was the best / most fun / most beautiful wedding they had ever attended! Thank you, Armstrong Farms!

Farms! Morgan was such a great coordinator, everything went very smoothly and she handled everything very well. Everybody the whole time was super friendly and we didn't have any issues at all. Having the prop shop available was really nice, and she clearly had everything planned perfectly. We couldn't ask for anything more. The price was reasonable for the fantastic venue, and they were really flexible and had great features. The air conditioning worked just fine for a July wedding.

Morgan was our day of coordinator and she was with us all weekend making sure everything was going perfectly. She was incredible, I don’t know how we would have done it without her. She kept everything on track, calmed me down on multiple occasions, was super helpful in the decorating/tear down times, and most importantly brought us a plate of food from the cocktail hour when we were doing photos. I absolutely love her.
The only thing that was difficult is that we had to arrange everything besides tables and chairs. It would be great if they had packages that included a bit more. But in the end our wedding was perfect and went off without a hitch. Absolutely book them if they are available!!!

a place to stay all weekend. This was great for wedding party members traveling from out of town! Our coordinator Kristi couldn’t have been more perfect and helpful throughout the entire planning process and wedding weekend. The inside of the barn was beautiful and comfortably fit our 120 guests without looking too crammed or too empty. The cocktail hour in the basement was a literal dream - and all of the guests were grateful for the AC blasting on the 90 degree day in May all throughout the barn!
The outdoor ceremony was perfect, but even if it rained, the basement of the barn would have been a beautiful ceremony too.
The huge wrap around porch and large outdoor space created a safe space for guests in the world of Covid. Guests raved about how beautiful everything was and how they loved the option of indoor/outdoor. We even had several people say they would be looking here to get married. Since the porch is covered, this venue would have been a PERFECT option if it rained.
The bonfire after party was a blast and the perfect way to end the wedding weekend!

They also used their gators to drive us and our guests back and forth so we didn’t get wet or muddy. The fact we got to stay right on the property the whole weekend with our friends and family was amazing. You also get assigned a coordinator. We had Lori and I cannot begin to describe how amazing she was. She answered all my very detailed and pointless questions, gave suggestions, found different places/things for us, and kept me SANE for months before the wedding. The day of the wedding we had to switch from outside ceremony to inside the barn and it went flawlessly. Lori handled all the guests and vendors and gave me nothing to worry about. When our bus did not come back for the last trip and left people stranded, Lori came back to the venue and literally drove people to the hotel they were staying at. She deserves 10000 stars.

And being able to have the venue for the entire weekend (with a cute farmhouse and a guesthouse to stay in right on-site!) made it a much less stressful experience. The family that owns the venues and each of their team members that we worked with were wonderful, and you can tell that they truly have a passion for making their couples’ weddings as memorable and lovely as ever. Lori, our coordinator, was second to none. She was so responsive and answered so, so many questions over the months leading up to our wedding. The weekend we were there, she couldn’t have been better prepared or more helpful to make sure everything went smoothly. As a bride, you expect bumps in the road or for a few things to go wrong — but NOTHING did. It was the most perfect day, and we couldn’t feel more fortunate or blessed to have been married at Armstrong Farms.

Our wedding day was SO beautiful! Our ceremony overlooked the pond area and was perfect for the end of summer. We had dinner in the tent and reception in the barn. It was so cool to have three separate areas to move to throughout the night. The barn was well lit with strand lights and we had plenty of space for the dance floor with extra tables for our guests to sit at. The tent was so perfect for dinner - our guests could eat and then get up and walk around the venue and enjoy being outside. We had the most perfect night and everything flowed so nicely.
Aly was our wedding coordinator and she was amazing to work with! She was so helpful throughout the whole process and even helped us get organized on Friday. She made sure everything was in place on the day of and helped our vendors figure out where to go and where to set up. We can’t say enough good things about Aly!

Our day of coordinator Deandra was excellent in ensuring that everything behind the scenes was going smoothly and was able to address anything that needed to be taken care of. We booked the venue for the entire weekend and it was a great atmosphere to do our rehersal dinner and get ready all on site. The venue itself is a little bit more pricey than some of the other venues out there but it is absolutely worth it!

Armstrong Farms provides a “prop shop” loaded with decorations which made it incredibly simple to get our rustic look without spending a ton on decorations. They also have availability to rent 4 separate lodging options (one directly next to the Fieldstone Barn with a fire pit that our bridal party used following the wedding). This was really helpful to provide lodging to family and our bridal party, and we were able to have our rehearsal dinner at one of the homes! Kristi (our coordinator) and owner Andy went above and beyond to answer all questions, provide multiple viewings, and they organize a vendor meeting so everyone is on the same page and timeline before the wedding. Things could not have gone more perfectly with Armstrong Farms!

a wedding during COVID isn't easy, but the staff at Armstrong did everything and more to make sure our day went off without a hitch. I literally did not have to lift a finger on our wedding day! My husband (who is not the event-planning type) also loved working with them and said so many times how great Armstrong was to work with. They were so flexible and kind throughout the whole process! Kristi Sherge was amazing to work with and always SO responsive. She answered every question and concern I had leading up to our big day. The owners, the Allens, are so nice as well and Andy even stopped by the evening before to check in to make sure everything was going smoothly with set up. The use of the farmhouse is truly invaluable as well. Kristi set up a table for us outside on the patio and we held our rehearsal dinner out there, which was nice to have as a back-up because our original rehearsal dinner plans got canceled due to COVID. Armstrong is also the ideal place to have your wedding during COVID because there is so much space to work with. Our guests raved about the amazing location and how comfortable they felt about attending our wedding. You also really get your money's worth at this venue-- it's truly a great value. I can't say enough amazing things about Armstrong Farms and would encourage any bride and groom to look at Armstrong for their big day. I also knew that IF we had to change our date due to COVID that Armstrong would bend over backward to work with me to make sure our day went off without a hitch. I had zero wedding day anxiety at Armstrong because I knew everything was going to fall into place perfectly, and it did. Kristi kept in touch with me all Spring with updates and the safety precautions they were taking. My husband and I were lucky enough to keep our date and our guest count. Both Kristi and Brittney were such a big help and took care of everything for us. They made our wedding weekend super easy!! I hate to even write a review like this, but I will always have this feeling about our wedding day and it's not a good one. We chose to get married at the Fieldstone Barn location ...
because it met all of our must have's.. unique, air condition, ceremony site, cocktail hour floor, weekend rental. It also gave us access to their "prop shop" which came in handy MULTIPLE times. Fast forward to the week before our wedding, we go through the weekend plans, everything is planned down to the hour. During our final meeting, we discussed our card box and who will responsible for it and the gifts. Very quickly, Armstrong Farms employees say they will take responsibility for the cards & gifts - they will be locked away in the office. We thought great, that’s one less thing we have to worry about. Our wedding day was perfect. Our timeline moved according to plan, I was getting pictures sent to me as the venue was setup and everything was beautiful. All day, our guests kept telling us how beautiful the venue was. Now, we are home getting ready to leave the next day for our honeymoon and go through our cards and gifts. While we were going through them, I notice a few things might be missing, but figured with all the boxes we packed up maybe they were elsewhere or maybe our guests forgot them. We go on our honeymoon and I'm still thinking I didn't get a card from one of my best friends since I was in grade school - so strange and unlike her. We get home from our honeymoon and go through our cards one last time. We notice there are over ten cards and gifts missing.. We search high and low, call family members but the gifts just aren't with us. We start to contact our guests (mind you these are reliable guests who are VERY close to us and have always been very generous). We explain it’s not about the money or gift, it’s the fact that their gift might not have made its way to us and that is NOT okay. Our guests told us they 100% placed their card in the box at the venue. Several of our guests also shared that they placed two cards in at the same time (we received one card, but not the other). I reach out to our venue coordinator; she says they aren't at the venue. Then, I called the manager of Armstrong Farms because that answer just didn't sit well with me. How aren't they there? The manager tells me she will call me when she's back in the office. Couple of days go by, I get a short email that the cards aren't in the office – but they will keep an eye out.. I replied to her that I was disappointed considering Armstrong Farms voluntarily took full responsibility for our cards and gifts. Then, I get a call from the owner and we go through it all again. He told me to check with family members because sometimes family picks them up to keep them safe… My wedding was over a week ago – no one is holding onto our cards and gifts. When I asked if his employees had a background check he never said yes, so I'm assuming that's a no. The owner tells us we will hear back from him within a week - it's been over a week, no follow up. I write this because I will always have this memory about our wedding day. We should have asked a family member to care for our card box, but we gave trust in the $10,000 venue. I’m very disappointed with the outcome and that our perfect day will forever have this cloud over my memory. If you rent this venue, ask a family member to tend to your gifts and get insurance that will cover such a horrible situation.

ooked at a handful of other barn/farm venues in the area and talked to several coordinators, but none of them even come close to Marlene.
We live in California and first spoke to Marlene over the phone to get some information on the venue. From that first call, we knew AF was the one. Prior to speaking with Marlene, we had already visited the Pittsburgh area (where we are from) to visit venues but didn’t feel strongly about any of them. Plus, several of the coordinators at other venues really turned us off. After we first talked to Marlene, I asked my parents to visit AF and they loved it. Marlene was so nice and easy to talk to that we ended up booking the venue site unseen.
Planning a wedding from across the country is a bit nerve-wracking, but Marlene made us feel completely taken care of from the start. She took every step to ensure we were well-informed throughout the entire process. She provided us a several suggestions for vendors, which is great because we had no idea where to start. We ended up choosing most, if not all, of her recommendations, including the caterer (Hoffstots), florist (Julie James), and the bakery (Main Street Bakery in Saxonburg). Marlene also took videos of the property, took time to explain every inch of the space, and regularly sent pictures of different things we asked for. She even worked with her husband to create a 3D scale model of the venue on google sketchup! Yes really!! This was incredibly helpful because we could play with layouts for the reception all of the way from CA. Even though we only visited the venue twice before the wedding, with the help of Marlene, we felt like we knew the venue in and out.
The venue itself was beautiful. We lucked out on our July wedding day with blue skies and temperatures in the 70s! But even leading up to the day, we thought it might be over 90 degrees. Marlene reassured us that the new tent on the property would be a good alternative for the ceremony and that we could make the call the day beforehand. Marlene also worked with all our vendors to make sure everything ran smoothly. Seriously, we didn’t have much to worry about.
Having the whole venue to ourselves for the weekend was also a huge plus. We and several of our guests were from out of town, so we had an amazing home base at AF all weekend. The house and cottage on the property were great. We had several of our close friends stay at the house which could easily sleep 12+ people.
All in all, AF and Marlene are amazing and you will not be disappointed. Our wedding day was a perfect day.
