First and foremost, beware of Denise. We chose this venue for our wedding because it was beautiful and the initial service was outstanding.

e manager, Denise - everything went down hill. I think she genuinely hated us. Have a question? Have to wait 2 weeks or call the front desk. Receive a contract? Need to make 20 changes because she wouldn’t pay attention to detail.
The only thing that worked out was the food being good. She left our event an hour in, and all of the service members were scrambling. Considering the amount of money spent (on service alone) we expected AT A MINIMUM respect and competence.
Run away and beware of Denise, I truly don’t know how she is still employed.
When I called to request information they were very rude of the phone. I wanted to schedule a tour and they wanted an estimate first which is fine. I emailed them all of my details...
to get the estimate and they never responded. It's been two weeks and I still haven't heard back from them. It was just hassle to deal with them and they have terrible communication.
Our original wedding date was in April and the planning experience leading up to that date was probably 8/10 but after having to postpone and working with the new coordinator (Kerr...
y) we’d change our rating to 9.5/10! We loved having our wedding at the resort because many of our guests were coming from out of town - they had a place to stay, a water park/golf course to use, and close to other things to do in Phoenix. We were originally going to have our reception inside but after re-evaluating for COVID, Kerry and the venue staff were very accommodating in making our event work outside. Kerry is wonderful and we appreciated that she took the time to really understand what we wanted to prevent any misunderstandings. Our event went smoothly with only a few minor hiccups that were easily addressed. The only bummer is that since it is a resort, the price for appetizers, dinner and drinks are tough to swallow. However, we were still thrilled with our overall planning and wedding experience. I would definitely recommend this venue to others if it falls within your price range!
We held my daughter’s wedding over New Years Eve 2017/18 at AGR. Misty and Tracy were an unbelievable team in helping to make the weekend a success. The coordination and profess...
ionalism they put into this event along with the service from all of the staff was unmatched. I cannot say enough positive things about them. They remained flexible and helpful throughout the entire time our guests stayed. They were a great team and the venue was absolutely gorgeous. All of our relatives who traveled to be there loved it
If we could give the Grand more than 5 stars we would! We had a perfect day! Everything and everyone was wonderful. It honestly could not have been better. All the hotel staff were...
very friendly and accommodating. Starting off on Friday, the front desk and bellmen were extremely helpful in getting us checked in and helped me move multiple items from villa to villa. They also helped move some items from my husband’s room and our reception into our villa at the end of the night. It was so nice to not have to worry about where everything was. We had some guests over for a brunch on Sunday and the cleaning service afterwards was excellent as well. They left rose petals in our room in the shape of hearts twice. We had a few meals at the restaurant and the food and service was excellent. We had so much fun at our rehearsal dinner at Aunt Chilada’s on the property and really enjoyed the food - they shuttled us back and forth very promptly.
All our guests commented on how delicious the reception food was and the excellent service at the cocktail hour and reception. I especially love the fact that a member from the banquet team left dollops of icing on our cake plates because the best man mentioned my undying love of frosting in his speech.
The cake the bakery made was amazing and looked exactly like the picture I provided them. It also tasted delicious! I wish we remembered all the names of everyone who helped make our weekend so special so we could thank them individually. The most important part is that everyone is just so nice at the resort- you can just tell they are all good people.
We will definitely be back next year for our complimentary one year anniversary stay. The Arizona Grand holds a very special place in our hearts.
Thank you again!
Out of all the venues we looked at in Scottsdale and Phoenix area Arizona Grand Resort had by far the best ceremony and reception locations we saw so it was an easy choice. We w...
anted a small wedding less than 100 people and Arizona Grand Resort was one of the few places that were willing to accommodate our smaller wedding. Most other places we looked at had outrageous minimums. Booking our venue at AZG was the best decision we made. Our ceremony and reception sites were so unique and beautiful. But above all the service we received was above and beyond. Our wedding coordinator Misty helped me every step of the way. She was always able to answer and quickly respond to any of my questions and was always willing to meet with me and my mom throughout the long wedding planning process.
The resort offered great room rates for us and our guests. Our room block coordinator Alex was so helpful and accommodating. The rooms were easy for our guests to book.
When we got to the resort the whole staff was very welcoming and friendly. This helped us make our guests feel welcomed and comfortable.
We hosted a welcome reception with some appetizers the night before the wedding in the lobby bar. Brandon at the Lobby restaurant was very helpful in helping me plan this. He was very accommodating and him and his staff provided excellent service throughout the event. Our guests had a great time.
Throughout our wedding day Misty and Tracy helped us through everything and made sure everything ran smoothly. Our guests were impressed with the bartender at the reception. She remembered everyones drink orders and had them ready when they came up.
Overall choosing the Arizona Grand was a great decision. We had an amazing time and were impressed with the exceptional service. I would highly recommend!
We could not be happier having had our wedding (9/16/16) at the Arizona Grand. Lyn and I didn't want to spend a great deal of money, but we wanted a location easily accessible to ...
our relatives coming in from out of state, and the Arizona Grand nicely fit that bill.
We also had the idea to make a weekend of it, having the ceremony on Friday, and inviting the relatives to spend time with us and the kids at the water park through the day on Saturday. This worked out PERFECTLY, as we were able to enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere as husband and wife with our whole family and friends for an entire day, without the anxiety of the preparations for the wedding ceremony.
Having said all that...the most important part of all this was the wedding, and the fantastic care taken by the staff. Tracy and Misty and all of the supporting cast were careful from beginning to end to make sure everything went off without a hitch...and it did. The food was spectacular, and the staff was there for our every need.
We are so very grateful for the care that they all took from Arizona Grand, and we would not have changed a thing.
Thank you to all.
Most Sincerely,
Shawn & Lyn Miller

AZING!!! Our night went so smoothly and a big part of it was due to her professionalism, organizational skills, kindness and desire to go above and beyond for us! I am forever grateful to her! Thank you Genia and staff at Arizona Grand Resort & Spa for making Michael and my night truly spectacular!
I don't even know how to begin writing this review because I cannot begin to express how much we LOVED our wedding at Arizona Grand Resort! I cannot sing their praises high enough....
AGR was the first venue we met with when we started planning our wedding, and walking away from that first interview, I knew we could hand our wedding off to them right then and there and never worry about another thing. Tracy, their Director of Social Catering, is God's gift to brides! From day one, she was extremely helpful, enthusiastic and fun! She always answered my emails within two days and never once made me feel dumb for asking so many questions. My mom and mother-in-law came down for our tasting about four months before the wedding and it was such a fun experience! First of all, the food is incredible! Second, that day, Tracy and her colleague Nikki went over every single detail of our wedding day and again, we left feeling like we would not have to worry about anything! Leading up to the wedding, Nikki was my saving grace: she was my sounding board for all details, and my answer to every question. AGR provides a very detailed event order form to you a few weeks before the wedding detailing every linen color, every floor plan and every minute of the schedule. Most of our wedding party was from out of town and staying at the resort, so Alex in their rooming department sent me a rooming list every few weeks and again, answered all of my questions promptly. The week of the wedding was the most fun I have ever had and I can directly thank Arizona Grand for that. Our guests ranted and raved about the constant level of service they received and are already planning return visits. The rehearsal and wedding day went off without a hitch. Tracy and Nikki treated my husband and I like royalty on our wedding day and made sure that we didn't worry at all or lift a finger all day/night. Book with AZ Grand and you will have the perfect wedding, best decision I have ever made!!
We had a wonderful experience at the AZ Grand. Everything from out initial visit, food tasting, rehearsal, wedding day, and day-after water-park celebration was amazing. Tracy an...
d Nikki were so helpful, kind, and professional. They food was delicious, the resort was perfect for our out of town guests, and the ceremony and reception spaces worked so well for what we wanted. I would highly recommend this venue- especially for couples with lots of family/friends traveling from out of town.
I had the pleasure of working with Tracy Mueller and Nikki Ruiz from the Arizona Grand Resort when I was planning my wedding, in November 2015. I have to say, I had the most incre...
dible experience and they continued to exceed my expectations every time I spoke with them. I’ve been known to be a little high strung sometimes and I’m sort of a perfectionist when it comes to planning parties, and even when I tried to convince myself that my anxiety levels were through the roof, Nikki and Tracy calmed my nerves almost instantly and made me realize that everything would be ok. I probably emailed Nikki and the hotel group reservation representative at least 3-5 times a week during the month before the big day, and not once did I ever feel like I was a bother or an inconvenience to them. The entire staff at the Arizona Grand Resort was so attentive, caring, kind, thoughtful and helpful that I know I made the best decision by booking my wedding at this venue. We were so confident and happy with the Grand that we ended up having our Rehearsal Dinner (Aunt Chilada’s), Ceremony (Paseo Court), Reception (South Mountain Ballrooms), changing suites (including a hotel block of almost 30 rooms for our guests from all over the country and Chile) all booked at the resort. I can’t tell explain in enough detail how wonderful the staff is, how beautiful the venue is, and what an incredible experience my husband, my bridal party, my family, my guests and I all had at the Arizona Grand Resort.
I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. The people were inconsistent and every step after signing the contract was a headache. There were so many things that went wrong, it was embarr...

My October 2015 wedding was at the Arizona Grand Resort and Spa and boy was it a phenomenal event! I worked with Tracy and Nikki and I have to say they made me want to quit my job...
and become a full time event planner! It was more than a pleasure to work with both of these ladies and although we booked the venue about a year before they were very attentive and were fantastic communicators. As a bride that planned my own wedding from start to finish, these ladies never made me feel as if I was asking dumb questions or bothering them. They were also organized and detail oriented. The venue itself, though it’s not brand new, is so charming and has great character and several different options for your perfect day. We opted for an outdoor ceremony (Paseo Gardens) and indoor dinner/ reception (Las Palmas) and both locations were perfect; the grounds were well manicured and the reception location was clean and had so much style and class, our guests loved it all! The food was beyond amazingly tasty and the cake was gorgeous – just off of a photo that I provided to the pastry chef. Our families enjoyed the resort location and amenities; it was like a destination wedding just a few miles from our home! We are so pleased and wish we could get married every month just to have the perfect day at the perfect location all over again.
Tracy and the entire team at the Arizona Grand personally helped us every step of the way in our wedding planning. I am still receiving compliments on the ceremony and reception at...
Las Palmas! I had the perfect romantic evening wedding of my dreams surrounded by all my friends and family! From the details for the rehearsal & dinner, the ceremony & reception layout, incredible food, a custom cake design, a beautifully set up honeymoon suite, and a family brunch the next morning - to the entire staff being warm, welcoming, and accommodating all weekend as we had a family staycation at the resort and waterpark means the world to me! Help was only a few seconds away at any point all weekend. Superbly friendly staff, golf carts, and vans were readily available to help my out-of-town guests, including my grandparents, at any moment. Not only were me, my bridal party, and parents taken care of every step of the way, but 100 guests felt welcomed. I cannot say enough good things about Tracy, Nikki, and the entire AZ Grand staff! They are at the top of our recommendation list!

g! It was honestly the most perfect day - we just wished it would've lasted longer.
We worked with Genia and she was fantastic. She was always timely with emails and was so on top of everything. She is great with all of the little details.
The venue is beautiful. Our pictures were amazing because there are many beautiful spots and backgrounds there. The food was delicious and everyone at the resort was so helpful. We loved too that guests could stay at the resort.
We are so glad we got married here and can't wait to visit next year on our anniversary.
I highly, highly recommend this venue for your ceremony and reception!

Having my wedding at the Arizona Grand Resort was everything we hoped it would be! With hosting many out of town guests we knew that AGR had many amenities that made it the perfect...
venue for us. From being just minutes from the airport, to the resort style amenities like golf, spa, hiking and water park passes, it really offered something for everyone who attended. Our guests told us over and over how much they loved their spacious rooms and all the activities the resort offered.
Then there was the awesome professionalism and service from the staff at AGR. It was a joy to work with Tracy and her team who made sure that everything (down to the very last detail) was covered. The quality of food and personal service was something to rave about. AGR really goes out of their way to make the bride and groom feel like a king and queen for the night. The wedding night villa and turn down services were such a nice touch. My now husband and I can't wait to return for our free one year anniversary stay and relive our wedding day at AGR next year. Thank your for giving us the wedding of our dreams!
My husband and I got married just a few weeks ago and had the reception at the Arizona Grand Resort. We had an all outdoor reception in the Paseo lined with lighted palm trees. It ...
was truly breathtaking. It was exactly the "Italian garden party fairytale" wedding I had always dreamed of. I am still getting calls, emails, and messages about how gorgeous the wedding was. The wedding coordinators were so amazing throughout the whole engagement, and the day-of staff was impeccable. I did not have a worry the entire day, and it was truly Perfect. I wish we could do it all over again!!! We very highly recommend Arizona Grand Resort!
All of the staff that we worked with at the AZ Grand was always so friendly and helpful. I worked closely with Genia in the beginning to find our perfect location for our receptio...
n and then with Sam to put it all together. They both made me feel like I was being heard and helped me with anything I had a question in very quickly. Everything went perfectly the day of the reception and was beautiful! Most of our guests were from out of the town and booked rooms at the resort, everyone was very impressed with how nice the resort was and loved their rooms! There was just one snag with the rooms and as soon as I brought it to Sam's attention she took care of it for me right away! All the extra little details that they provided for us the day of the wedding made it so much more special. We had our reception at Las Palmas which is a converted restaurant and it was perfect, neither of us wanted the typical ballroom venue so the dark wood and raised bar area was just perfect. I would highly recommend taking a look at the AZ Grand for your wedding, there are many options of locations and the staff is wonderful to work with!
We loved this venue for our wedding. They made us feel like we were their only clients and no one else was having an event; even though there were in other areas. They were able ...
to handle special requests. Also, the positive attitude of the staff made the wedding much less stressful.

ble. Tracy helped us to coordinate and plan every detail to help make our day so memorable. The food and cake were delicious. We had a lot of our guests comment on how good they were! Beautiful presentation of the food and cake as well.
The staff pays attention to every detail from the main lobby to the common areas to the reception hall to the guest rooms. Everywhere you look is beautiful. Everyone is very welcoming as well. Arizona Grand helped us have the perfect day!
My husband and I were incredibly happy with our experience at the Arizona Grand for our wedding. We have stayed at the resort many times before and have always been impressed with ...
the rooms, food, and scenery. The staff was attentive and professional and handled everything wonderfully. Tracy Mueller who was our head event coordinator was fabulous. She answered any and all questions and concerns promptly and really put us at ease. The food (and cupcakes) prepared onsite was delicious and loved by all our guests. Truly and experience to remember and if we had to do it all again we would book them again in a heartbeat!
With many guests attending our wedding from out of town, it was of utmost importance to secure a venue that would not only provide impeccable food, service and aesthetic on the day...
of our wedding but also offer wonderful rooms, rates and activities for our guests for the better part of a week. The Arizona Grand Resort filled the bill on all counts. Our guests ranging in age from two to eighty-two all enjoyed the amenities at the resort immensely. We hosted a welcome night in the lobby bar, held our rehearsal dinner at Rustler's Rooste, got married on the island and had dinner in Paseo Garden. Tracy and Sam took care of all of the wedding details impeccably. Our day went off without a hitch and it was relaxing for me because I knew that we were in good hands. The food was AMAZING!!! The carnivores, vegetarians and celiacs alike say that the meal was the best they've had at a wedding or anywhere else. The banquet staff anticipated all of our needs and provided perfect service. Our guests were impressed that the bartender had their drinks memorized by their second trip to the bar. The resort was beautiful. One of the reasons that we chose AGR was because of all of the great photo back drops: from the huge water fountain to the waterfall, the stairway in the conference centre, and the island and Paseo Garden. Our wedding pictures are exquisite because of the breathtaking setting. My only regret is that is was all over too soon.
Our wedding was the hottest day in history for this day. However with Tracy as our wedding coordinator we didn't sweat a bit. Everything was Perfect & stress free! Hard to believe ...
when we planned it all in 5 WEEKS but its true. Need help with an officiant, DJ, florist, photographer? Tracy has lots of suggestions to help. The food & cake were to die for. Amazing food selection. Our venue space and decor matched us perfectly. Staff was friendly, organized and professional. The day flowed with ease. Our suite & service afterwards was immaculate. The water park the next day was a great way to spend time with our kids & families. My husband & myself were very pleased & Highly recommend the AZ Grand for your special day.

an we were looking for a more casual location to celebrate with our friends & family who were not able to make our Michigan wedding. The stuff totally understood what we were looking for and the Vista was a great location. The Paseo is also another great location for a casual event. i definitely recommend consulting with the folks at the Arizona Grand for your event.
We could not have had a better wedding. The staff at Arizona Grand resort accommodated us with everything we needed and wanted.
