We are so happy we chose Arch City Lights for our wedding! They were fantastic, and so many of our guests have complimented how great they were. The band kept the energy up all night. Emily was fantastic to work with throughout the entire process. She was responsive, organized, and made planning the entertainment completely stress-free. We do not have words for how incredible Arch City Lights is, and the dynamic they bring to a room. Multiple guests at our wedding could not stop dancing and did not have a choice in the matter. If you want a live band, let me simply say: it does not get any better than this. They set the vibe from their opening number by Earth, Wind, and Fire—and from that moment on, the party did not stop until they kicked us out. If you are able to book them, I cannot recommend it enough. I promise you will not regret it.

Services Offered In addition to a live performance during your reception, they are also well versed to play for your ceremony, offering acoustic or classical music followed by cocktail music where they offer a variety of ensembles. Emcee and DJ services are readily available to keep your timeline on track while taking on live special requests and first dances. They also bring their own lighting/sound setup, so you can eliminate the hassle of working with multiple vendors for your event.

I will be the one working with you from step 1 all the way to the big day. I take great pride in our group and seek to make the process as smooth and fun as possible. I've been singing and working in various music groups for over 8 years and created Arch City Lights to fulfill a need for excellent, high-end live music in the area. I look forward to working with you and singing at your event!

We got to go to one of their public performances to see them live before booking and it immediately sold us. Their range of music, upbeat energy, and technical execution of the notes, timing, and rhythm made them stand out. Emily was wonderful to work with. She was very organized, responsive, and flexible to accommodate what we envisioned for our wedding. Being able to book a string quartet, jazz duo for cocktail hours, and 8 piece reception band all through Emily made planning so much easier. They were able to accommodate our venue’s strict set up and take down requirements for the stage and equipment with zero issues. They had a LONG list of songs they could play that we were able to read over and pick out our favorites. Emily helped walk us through all of the song decisions we needed to make and helped us every step of the way. They even LEARNED a couple special songs for us and played them PERFECTLY. I could not recommend this band enough! They truly ELEVATED our wedding and made it so so much FUN!

We had some last-minute concerns about the room being too dark during the reception, but Arch City Lights was able to rent out both uplighting and dance floor lights - something that our venue could not do. They helped keep the night on track by introducing the wedding parties, readying the people giving toasts/speeches, and handling any other small detail that came up. My (now) husband's special song request was a "1950s jazz version" of 21 Questions by 50 Cent, which the band happily accepted and absolutely nailed! We finished the night with a private last dance to Beyond by Leon Bridges, which was incredibly special for us. Cannot recommend Emily and Arch City Lights enough!

atch our desired sound by tailoring the ceremony music, cocktail jazz trio, and the playlist for the reception to have the old-school feel we were looking for. The band was able to provide the full scale of services for the wedding day: their pianist played some beautiful covers of selected music for the ceremony. The horns and piano set a great mood during the cocktail hour. Emily MC’d the evening, corralling guests and making sure everything went smoothly. She sang a beautiful rendition of our first dance song which they had to learn for the big day. But Arch City Lights truly shined when it came time to get people dancing. We opted for the seven-piece ensemble, which included a horn section. They performed an awesome setlist – a mix of our suggestions and their own wedding hits - that had our guests dancing until the very last song. Their prices are very competitive, and we felt that their performance was well above other bands we looked into within the same price tier. In addition to great music, they brought a great energy to the night and were so kind and accommodating. We can’t recommend them enough!

Arch City Lights also arranged the string duo for our ceremony music – and they were fantastic. It was incredibly helpful to have all our music needs taken care of through one vendor.
