Kara is the BEST. She is so kind, flexible, and thoughtful, and created the most beautiful arrangements for our wedding. I didn't know specifically what the florals would look like...
, but she nailed the vibe and exceeded our expectations. She also included a lot of decor like votives, candles, and table numbers, which took a lot of the decorating off my hands. Thank you Kara!!
Kara had a lot of great recommendations for our wedding florals. She was a joy to talk to and showed up on time on the day of the wedding and set everything up as requested without...
any issues. When we decided we wanted a floral cake, she worked with our baker seamlessly to provide her with fresh flowers that matched our theme. The only thing I would have liked is more direct communication from Kara- she uses a website that sends automated emails and many of them were repetitive. I also found her website/planning tool hard to navigate. Other than the communication issue, Kara was a joy to work with and the flowers and decor were worth every cent we paid!
Kara is phenomenal! She is a positive force of nature who invested extra time to create an atmosphere that was not only gorgeous, but meaningful. When we told Kara that there would...
be a Vietnamese tea ceremony at the welcome supper, she researched the traditions and indigenous flowers and turned the already beautiful garden into a paradise with a distinctly Vietnamese flavor. The wedding flowers were beyond beautiful, and the reception, which was a completely different style than the welcome supper (classic, Pacific Northwest), was absolutely magical. Her flowers, candles and design were spectacular. On top of it all, Kara was a joy to work with. We feel so provoked to have worked with her!
Kara did an exceptional job for my nephew's wedding on San Juan Island. The color theme was Yellow Yellow Yellow, and there were three weekend events with flowers. So, it was a big...
job! Kara used a wide variety of yellow and white flowers, and the flowers at each event had a different vibe. Kara stayed for the whole wedding to make sure everything went smoothly. Well done! Highly recommended.
This florist designed flowers and did event management for a wedding that I attended. It was so amazing and I was very impressed I got her information for future use. The flowers ...
were exquisite, from to the headpieces and boutonnieres to the amazing table centerpieces and floral arch for the wedding vows. WOW
My mother had apparently set this all up for my fiancée. She said that Apotheca Design was instrumental on how beautiful and perfect our magical setting came out. Walking to this ...
amazing spot on Friday Harbor and seeing rose petals, candles, a gorgeous bouquet, champagne and glasses set up in the woods made our day an unforgettable one. According to my mom, Kara was a complete joy to worked with and even went out personally to select this amazing backdrop. Thank you Kara for making it so wonderful for us!
