Anomalie Beauty Agency

supportive and patient (even when things needed reworking) and helped me put into words what I was actually looking for. They were great with all levels of comfortability with make-up too, helping my mom feel her best. The admin team was very easy to communicate with and always made me feel like I was in good hands when it came to planning/making any logistics changes. I was really happy with my spray tan from them as well- which I had never gotten a non-booth one before. Completely recommend!! Only drawback I will say- when booking the previews I don't know if the additional time or second look add-ons where really followed through with timing wise even if they were paid for- so maybe pass on that unless you have really clear goals/looks to test out.

s (booking, preview trial, rehearsal dinner and wedding). The quality of their work was truly professional, elegant, and high-quality. The team was friendly and attentive, completing 23 services for my wedding party in an efficient and timely manner. And on top of that, my hair and makeup was absolutely stunning and flawless all day and night (the day after my hair STILL looked good). I could not recommend the Anomalie Beauty Agency more highly!

ime leading up to wedding day. I had the pleasure of having Amanda as my artist for both my trial and day of and I could not recommend her more - such a talent & so wonderful to be around. All around, would highly recommend!

over again!

artist!! From the moment I met her for my trial, I knew I could trust her. She is so talented, customizing my hair and makeup perfect for me! Danielle and Valerie were amazing for my bridal party, ensuring all the ladies felt confident and beautiful. Anomalie is 10/10!!!

ieces that fell out which required some extra Bobby pins to be placed (as expected) right before the ceremony. Overall, great experience. Kayla is so sweet and her and Jeanette were both timely with completing everyone’s hair in my bridal party!

—my engagement shoot, courthouse wedding, trial, and finally the big day. She is truly phenomenal at what she does. Selena has such a great eye for what looks good, while also listening to suggestions and making sure her clients feel comfortable and confident. She doesn’t just “do makeup”—she creates a look that enhances natural beauty, lasts all day, and makes you feel your absolute best. Every time she worked with me, I felt like the most beautiful version of myself. Jeanette is a true hair artist. Her skills are top tier—she has the hands and vision to bring any hairstyle to life and somehow make it even better than the inspiration photo. She did my hair for the trial, and when I wasn’t sure if it was exactly what I wanted, she was so quick to suggest adjustments and work with me until I felt 100% confident. On my wedding day, my hair was everything I dreamed of and more—elegant, secure, and perfect from start to finish. Katie is so sweet. She actually did my wedding hair for my courthouse ceremony, and on the big day she took care of my bridesmaids’ hair and makeup as well as my mom’s. She made sure each one of them looked stunning while still feeling like themselves. The girls couldn’t stop talking about how much they loved their looks and how comfortable Katie made them feel during the process. And a special thank you to Colette, who handled all of the scheduling. She was so accommodating with my needs and always willing to adjust things when plans shifted. Having someone so organized and flexible made the whole process stress-free, which is invaluable when planning a wedding. This team went above and beyond to make us look and feel beautiful. Their professionalism, kindness, and talent made such a difference on my wedding day, and I am so grateful for each of them.

diligent and ensured each girl felt beautiful. As someone who doesn’t wear a ton of makeup, I felt so beautiful with my soft glam and got so many compliments. Katie A was sure to work with me to find a look that I felt confident and like myself in. I can’t recommend working with them enough!

atty listened to my thoughts and ended up giving me exactly what I wanted! My hair and makeup lasted all night and looked amazing in photos :)

air and makeup, I absolutely loved it. We also had Daniela and Car helping out, all of my bridesmaids raved about their hair and makeup. We even ran ahead of schedule! Overall the entire process was super smooth.

enal experience that exceeded all my expectations. The professionalism of Anomalie Beauty was evident from our very first interaction. They were incredibly responsive and always available to answer my questions, no matter how small. When I needed to add services for additional members of my bridal party, they handled it seamlessly and efficiently, making the planning process stress-free. On the big day, Jen and Amanda truly slayed! They worked their magic on my entire bridal party, my Mother of the Bride, and Mother of the Groom. Everyone looked absolutely stunning and felt incredibly beautiful. What truly impressed me was how their artistry held up – the makeup lasted all day through the summer heat, looking fresh and perfect from the first photo to the last dance. Beyond their incredible talent, Jen and Amanda were also perfectly on time and managed to get everyone ready well before we needed to be. This punctuality and efficiency allowed for a relaxed morning, ensuring we weren't rushed and could truly enjoy every moment. I cannot recommend Anomalie Beauty, Jen, and Amanda enough. If you're looking for a team that combines professionalism, responsiveness, exceptional talent, and reliability for your wedding day, look no further!

o make my hairstyle work just as I wanted! Patty’s makeup was so beautiful and lasted all day. Not to mention, I remember something happening at our VRBO, getting stressed, then Patty stepping in to calm me down. Both girls felt like they were part of my wedding party. The vibes were immaculate. Not only are they incredibly skilled professionals but they are sweet, caring girls who want you to have the best day. They were on time, fast, prompt, and stepped in whenever we needed them. I felt so taken care of by Anomalie Beauty!

as such a warm presence. Anomalie was so flexible to work with and I was able to find a package/styling set-up that made sense for my group. Our hair held up beautifully even on a very windy Chicago day.

and even made some of them on the spot so I could see. She remembered my adjustments for my wedding day and was even able to change course on the day as there were more things I wanted to do differently. I looked incredibly beautiful on my wedding day thanks to Patty. I was worried about how everything would hold, especially the makeup but I had no issues. I cried a ton and my makeup still looked almost perfect at the end of the night - in fact, I slept with my lashes on and they still didn't budge! I also paid extra for a second artist to help the day go faster - highly recommend doing so! Katie joined us to do makeup for my bridal party and she did an excellent job. Everyone looked very beautiful. I was a little worried because my family is picky with hair and makeup but they were very happy and had no complaints! One last thing - as a person of color I was worried about finding an artist who could work well on someone with my complexion and they did an excellent job. When I was booking, I expressed this concern and they even sent me photos of people with a similar complexion who they had worked with to put me at ease!

ricing and services. I love how all Inclusive they are, but provide artists that are specialists. Their team provides confirmation of services and comes to you. It was such a special experience to have them at a place where you are comfortable. Jeannette and Daniella were my day of artists for my wedding. Words can’t even describe how incredible they were. They made me feel truly glamorous and more beautiful than I have ever felt while still enhancing all my natural beauty and features. I can’t recommend them enough for bridal services

lt amazing :) Special shout out to Patty who did my bridal preview and day-of hair and makeup. I felt so beautiful and received so many compliments. Would recommend Anomalie to any wedding party!

ivities and have to use different products some times and both were so accommodating and made sure I still got the look I wanted. Overall really good to work with whenever my planner or I had questions, would totally recommend overall!

onfident form. Colette coordinated everything seamlessly and is so genuine, kind, and easy to work with! I would do it all over again! 10/10!

smaids and mom looked stunning and felt so confident, which meant the world to me. I also worked with Jeanette and Katie M for my bridal shower and rehearsal—Jeanette styled my hair and Katie M did my makeup, and they crushed it. I felt so beautiful and truly like the best version of myself. Can’t recommend this team enough!

a did my spray tan and gave me the perfect, glowing look. On the big day, Patty, Lindsay, and Selina provided hair and makeup for 9 of us, and everyone looked flawless. Patty did my hair and makeup and made me feel so beautiful while still like myself. I can’t recommend this team enough!

questions with so much patience, grace, and attention to detail. Throughout my entire engagement, their communication was top-notch, and they always made me feel supported and cared for. Once I got my trials done, I knew I was in the best hands. Selina (makeup) and Jeanette (hair) were an absolute dream team. On the big day, they were joined by Maggie and Patti, and together they got 12 girls ready ahead of schedule without feeling rushed—and every single one of us looked and felt amazing. All of my bridesmaids kept saying they had never been in a wedding where everyone genuinely loved their hair and makeup. That’s a true testament to this team's talent, professionalism, and care. Highly recommend booking Anomalie—you will be so glad you did!

makeup done and the team was able to make it feel relaxing and not rushed at all. It was a very pleasant experience. Selina did my bridal makeup and I have never been happier with professional makeup on me. She listened to all of my concerns and allowed me to do things like apply my own mascara (something I’m picky about) to make me more comfortable. We did a trial and I was able to text her all of the little details I wanted to change for the wedding. She was very understanding and I could not have been happier with how my final look turned out! Selina is a true professional! Jeanette did my hair and also did a fabulous job! I loved my trial but then decided to switch it up slightly on the day of the wedding. Jeanette took all of my adjustments and created the absolutely perfect bridal hairstyle for me. She checked in throughout the process to make sure I was liking it and we were able to make adjustments as we went. I was so happy with how it turned out and would highly recommend Jeanette to other brides! Our third stylist on the wedding day was Patty and she did a great job making the bridesmaids and mothers that worked with her feel beautiful and confident with their looks! Overall it was a very professional and seamless process and I would highly recommend working with Anomalie beauty!

ey were so attentive, patient, and kind!!) I wanted to make sure I still felt and looked like “myself” on my wedding day and Anomalie NAILED it. I was very happy to do the makeup and hair trials with the girls who were doing my day of wedding hair and makeup- it helped so much in knowing how we would do things for the wedding! It was also so fun because seriously all of these girls are SO nice and friendly. My bridesmaids absolutely loved their hair and makeup on wedding day and each hair and makeup artist perfectly achieved each requested look! They are so talented!!! And I was, of course, SO happy with my wedding day hair and makeup- Selina and Jeanette made sure of it, even if that meant taking more time and being slightly late in schedule (oops! No regrets!!!) I am so happy I chose Anomalie Beauty Agency for my wedding. Don’t think twice and book them!!!! You won’t regret it.

service was to expectations of the VIPs and bridal party. They were able to style a variety of looks, and remained on-time the morning of the wedding. Selina, Jeanette, Maggie, and Patty did a fantastic job!! Thank you! As a wedding planner, I'm looking forward to working with you many more times in 2025! Claire , Marryment Director of Relationships

6:45 AM start time instead of 7:00 AM, we were told there would be a $105 fee for just a 15-minute difference. While I’m usually understanding of additional costs, this fee felt unreasonable. On the plus side, the artists were lovely to work with, and the quality of the work was generally good. However, I did notice some variation in skill and ability to execute the vision depending on which artist was assigned to us. Given that Anomalie hires a range of artists, this isn’t entirely surprising, but it’s something to keep in mind when booking. In summary, my experience wasn’t the worst, but I feel that the same quality could likely have been achieved without all the additional, hidden fees. While Anomalie offers good service, the inconsistency in pricing and talent might make it less appealing for those seeking more transparency or uniformity.

iendly and got along with our big bubbly group - making the morning-of a lot of fun and stress-free! They were all very timely, knowledgeable and passionate, and closely followed the direction/inspo pictures provided by each girl to feel their best. The planning process went smoothly as well, as they were very responsive and accommodating. I absolutely recommend for your wedding!

was so organized and easy to keep track of. Top notch customer service constantly checking in and keeping me updated. I worked with Selina, Jeanette, Lindsay, and Katie A for my day and they are all amazing artists... and we had so much fun with them while we were getting ready watching reality TV and hanging out.

pful guidance. On my wedding day, I had the pleasure of working with Jen, Kayla, and Michelle, and they were all so much fun to be around. We had a total of eight women getting ready in my apartment with a 7 AM start, and the Anomalie team was right on time and incredibly efficient. We finished almost an hour ahead of schedule, which was amazing! Despite how quickly they worked, none of us ever felt rushed. They took great care of everyone, and my moms and bridal party all looked absolutely stunning. Everyone was so happy with their looks! A special shout-out to my hair and makeup duo, Kayla and Jen. Kayla was so kind and thoughtful, always checking in to make sure I was happy with the look and making me feel beautiful and confident. Jen was simply amazing—I was a bit nervous about makeup, but she encouraged me to provide feedback after my trials, and on the wedding day, she was so patient and made sure I loved my final look. I truly felt like a million bucks! If you're still deciding on a beauty team for your wedding, you have to book Anomalie Beauty Agency. They are incredible!

sure to work with—every interaction was so gracious, lovely, and incredibly helpful. One of the best perks is that they are MOBILE - all of us gals got ready at my parents' home so it was so nice they could come to us with all of their products and materials. On our wedding day, my bridesmaids looked more beautiful than I had ever seen them, and I couldn't have been happier with my own hair. Not only did our styles turn out stunning, but they also lasted all night—through dancing, celebrating, and everything in between! Honestly, I woke up the next morning and my hair was still flawless. If you're looking for a beauty team that is professional, talented, and a dream to work with, Anomalie Beauty is the way to go! 💕

s not only completed all the services on time but did a beautiful job. Every girl was obsessed with their hair and makeup. What was wild is each girl had a different makeup inspo (full glam, soft glam, natural, etc.) and the girls did exactly what they asked for. The hair was unreal. I did a high pony for rehearsal dinner and I can’t even say how many complements I received. My hair and makeup for day of wedding was truly perfect (I am also SOOO picky with what I like and they did it perfectly). Colette is truly amazing to work with, makes the process so easy. The girls double and triple check the dates you need, the services, when to arrive, etc. Do yourself a favor and hire this agency for your wedding. You will not have to stress at all and all the girls will look amazing. Thank you guys so much.

yone's hair lasted all night! Jeanette also worked with my clip in extensions and they looked flawless! Prior to the big day, the team at Anomalie were responsive to all my questions and regularly checked in to make sure I didn't need anything! I'm so glad I chose to work with them!

ugh, she made all of us look beautiful and was very efficient and personable in the process! Our makeup lasted throughout the entire night also. Thank you Jen/Anomalie!

d it into reality, perfectly capturing my style. On the big day, they arrived early, full of positivity, and brought all the necessary products. They worked seamlessly with my bridal party, making everyone feel beautiful and special. My makeup lasted all day and night, and my hair stayed flawless despite dancing and the elements! I received countless compliments from guests, and I felt like a true queen. If you're looking for professional, talented, and friendly service, look no further. Highly recommend!

was such a joy to work with them, and I would absolutely recommend them to new brides. Thank you for making me look and feel so stunning on my wedding day!

helped schedule all our trials and events and was so communicative from booking all the way through the wedding day. They made the planning process so easy! Jen, Katie and Shante were our amazing artists and went above and beyond to deliver the exact bridal look I was hoping for. Highly recommend this team!

felt a little rushed. Overall, great experience from a professional and well-trained team.

and I felt confident in our hair and makeup. I highly recommend Anomalie Beauty!!

unicate with throughout the whole process, and all the artists I worked with were amazing and talented. I had scheduled my hair and makeup trial for the morning of my birdal shower and got a call the night before that my hair stylist had fallen sick but knowing it was my bridal shower they still send someone to do my hair and I was able to reschedule my bridal hair trial for a later time. I am sharing this in the most positive light possible, that when you go with a team the size of anomalie, you will have reassurance that no matter what the job will be done and done well. They truly care about their clients. I have no regrets going with them for my wedding and me and all my bridesmaids as well as my mom and mother-in-law all looked beautiful. I would recommend them to anyone.

party feel so beautiful on my wedding day. From the start, Dani and Colette built a relationship with me and continued checking in throughout the wedding planning process. I appreciate the personal touch and would highly recommend Anomalie to all brides!

edding, but my bridal shower and rehearsal dinner too. The girls are so incredibly kind and supportive! Even with all the pre-wedding jitters and 12 bridesmaids/ mothers and sister in law's- they were able to make me and my wedding party feel confident and radiant. Cannot shoutout Kayla and Amanda enough. They’re so fun to talk to and really make you feel at ease! Would choose Anomalie over and over again

ouse, maximizing convenience. Patty and Jennifer did the hair and makeup for the wedding and we could not have been happier with their work. Me and the entire bridal party felt beautiful.

he made sure to ask me what my personal makeup style was, to ensure they could provide me with what I wanted. My makeup artist Amanda drove from the city to the suburbs of Chicago for my trial and was AMAZING! We clicked immediately and she truly delivered on my vision for how I wanted to look on my wedding day. In the weeks leading up to the wedding, the Anomalie team sent me the getting ready schedule, with a 5:30 AM start time (keep in mind, 12 girls total were getting full makeup done). Both Amanda and NiNi arrived early to the hotel to start getting set up, and we started promptly on time. They both did AMAZING on everyone's makeup, and the girls looked gorgeous. The makeup lasted all night, and photographed beautifully. I could not recommend Anomalie more - they made this portion of wedding planning so easy! Plus made me feel so beautiful on my big day!

at made them a less-than-desirable vendor. During the booking process, I explained to Dani, the representative who I worked with to generate a proposal, the amount of bridesmaids I had, and the timeline for the wedding day. Months later, when I was having my first makeup trial with my makeup artist Jen she said "woah it looks like your start time for the day is 4 AM." I was completely shocked. No one explained to me during the consultation that I would need a second makeup artist for me, two mothers, and four bridesmaids for a wedding that started at 1PM. I immediately contacted Anomalie saying that there must be some mistake and was told that the 4AM start time was correct and that in order to avoid that I had to add a second artist, which would be be over $300. Although I ultimately paid for the second artist, it would have been far more professional to have the representative explain the timeline to me during the consultation so that my fiancé and I did not have to be surprised by an additional several hundred dollar expense that they had not factored into their wedding budget after we had already booked this vendor. At that point, we knew we would lose more money by walking away from this vendor than by simply adding the second artist. When I raised this with Anomalie, they said that the fees were in their contract. But the issue was not with their contract. It was with the fact that this was not discussed with the customer. I had my first makeup trial in November and unfortunately Jen did not meet the mark with what I was asking for. She used orange tones all over my face, which was not complimentary and did not match the bridal nude and pink tones I was looking for. As a result, I squeezed in another trial on the Sunday before my wedding on the following Saturday several months later. Jen was over 15 minutes late for the second trial. During the second trial, I walked her step by step through each and every color and product until we ultimately got it right, but unfortunately having that second trial cost me again. On the day of the wedding, our second artist Shante showed up on time and did beautiful makeup for many of my bridesmaids and mother-in-law. Unfortunately, Jen was several minutes late again. I only realized when one of my bridesmaids looked at the schedule Anomalie put together and said, "My makeup is supposed to start in 3 minutes, but Jen isn't here." When she eventually arrived she made up the time, but it was an unnecessary stressor that was completely avoidable. Ultimately, I wished that I squeezed myself in to be seen by Shante the morning of the wedding. The makeup that she did for the other women in the wedding was beautiful and unfortunately Jen's did not measure up. I also want to note that my sister planned her wedding at the same time as me and also hired Anomalie for both hair and makeup services. After seeing the beautiful look that her artist, Selina, created I reached out and asked if that artist was available for my wedding. They told me that she wasn't and said, "You will love working with Jen, she is great." Unfortunately, that did not end up being the case. In the end the makeup looked like it was professionally done, but the level of customer service was certainly below what I received from other wedding vendors.

ind artists for my scheduled events and kept track of any changes based on availability. Every artist I worked with was on time, professional, respectful and really listened to me when I explained what I wanted and worked with me to achieve the perfect look. You could tell by the way that they each talked about their work that they were really passionate about what they were doing and really cared about how you felt and wanted to look and made sure you were completely happy before packing up. I could not recommend Anomalie more for any event and I look forward to using them in the future.

wanted to change to get the exact finished look I was hoping for. On the day of my wedding it was no stress as it was the same! She was the best and so willing to adjust if anything needed tweaking, although it really didn’t! Overall my experience with the company was great - timeline was communicated clearly and payment process was easy!
