Anna is such a kind, wonderful, and calming presence to work with. She understood the aesthetic and direction immediately, was helpful in honing that vision and absolutely fulfilli...
ng the look I had asked for. She was the backbone of communication and walking through the possibilities to get a feel for what the engagement shoot would feel like without pressure and was a calming guide between poses and backgrounds. Thank you so much Anna!
Anna was the perfect photographer for our big day! She immediately understood our vision for cinematic photos and captured such beautiful memories for us. We loved that she cap...
tured us digitally and on film. The best part of our experience was how comfortable and calm she made us feel in front of the camera. From the minute she walked in I felt like she was a trusted friend! She will be our first call for any future photo needs!
Anna is not just an excellent photographer, she's a sensitive and perceptive artist. Her work reflects a keen eye for emotion and humanity. That's why her portrait of me is my favo...
rite anyone has taken. It's what I use on my website and whenever I need to send a headshot for anything. It was her idea to do a diptych instead of a single portrait – and chose a location where we could experiment with the natural setting in a way that produced such a unique and special result. I wasn't just getting my portrait taken, I felt seen. Thank you Anna!
Working with Anna is a gift!
Capturing beauty, meaningful moments, and inspiring ease and trust in the subject? That’s not an easy combination. But Anna does all of it—and more—wi...
th grace. Her grounded, lighthearted presence promotes deep trust—and that trust makes all the difference. She creates a space where you feel safe to soften, to show up as you are, and be seen.
I don’t naturally love being in front of the camera. During our shoot, I was feeling self-conscious—navigating some perimenopausal weight gain and not feeling like my most radiant self. But Anna saw beyond that. She saw me. And helped me see me, too.
When the photos came back, I was floored. They weren’t just beautiful in a visual sense—they carried something deeper. Truth. Warmth. Me. Friends and clients told me these were their favorite photos I’ve ever taken. That says a lot.
Her way of being is a gift—but that’s not where her talents end. Anna is also a brilliant creative. She brings a higher perspective, an intuitive sense of beauty, and an uncanny ability to capture the precious, fleeting moments that connect us to the sweetness of life. She notices the in-between spaces where something real lives.
I was truly sad when she moved to Bainbridge Island—it meant I couldn’t work with her again in LA. But if you have the chance to step in front of her lens, do it. It’s not just a photo shoot. It’s an experience of being seen—and celebrated—for who you truly are.
I have nothing but great things to say about my experience being photographed by Anna. I was looking for professional photos that felt natural, honest, and aesthetically strong, an...
d she delivered that and more.
The images she captured were not only flattering, they were genuinely beautiful. Each one felt like a small work of art. Thoughtful and expressive, and perfectly in line with what I'd hoped for. I’ve used them often in my professional life, and I truly cherish them.
Just as important as the photos was the experience of working with Anna. The session felt like a relaxed walk through a neighborhood-- organic and collaborative and low-pressure-- and yet the results showed how attuned she was to light, detail, and composition. She caught moments I never would have noticed, and turned them into something remarkable.
I’m very grateful for her work and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone.
