I can’t recommend Anemone highly enough! Jessica was wonderful to work with and really listened to what we wanted, making sure every detail of our wedding flowers came together bea...
utifully. She also had so many creative suggestions for getting the look we wanted while staying within our budget. I’d absolutely recommend Anemone to anyone in the Chicago area searching for gorgeous wedding florals!
Anemone Chicago designed the florals for my daughter's outdoor wedding (120 guests) and they were absolutely stunning. Jessica took my daughter's vision and designed unique and ele...
gant florals, exceeding all expectations. She installed the venue florals at the ceremony location (outdoor gazebo) and managed this even with thunderstorms prior to the wedding. The bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, corsages/boutonnieres, the florals for the gazebo that incorporated a houpa and was transitioned to the pavilion, table settings were amazing. We had vases at the head table for the bridesmaids and bride to place their bouquets, incorporating them into the decorations. We were able to take the centerpiece floral arrangements at the end of the night-and they lasted several days after the wedding. Jessica was also very responsive from the start to end and I felt like she looked to see how to best incorporate the floral arrangements from the ceremony to the reception areas. We got several compliments on the wedding florals.
Jessica and the Anemone team completely understood our vision and somehow made it even better than we imagined. The florals at our wedding had everyone oohing and aahing from the m...
oment they walked in.
The mandap was truly something out of a dream. Walking down the aisle and seeing it for the first time is a moment I will never forget. It was absolutely breathtaking. I threw so many random details and inspiration photos her way, and somehow she took all of it and turned it into a cohesive, stunning color palette that felt effortless and intentional. One detail that stood out most were the orchids. In the lead-up to the wedding, Jessica actually texted me asking if I liked the flower, and the gorgeous pink-and-purple spotted orchids she ended up weaving throughout the design became one of my absolute favorites. That flower will forever remind me of my wedding day.
But my favorite detail has to be the guest trees that held our seating place cards. They were probably the idea I was most excited about. I had this whimsical vision of a tree where guests could pick up their escort cards, shared through one inspiration photo and a lot of me rambling, and Jessica just got it. For the evening reception, she didn’t just bring the idea to life, she elevated it into two breathtaking cascading trees that were accessible from every side. It was even more beautiful than anything I had imagined and truly felt like a centerpiece of the entire experience.
Beyond the florals themselves, Jessica and her team were simply wonderful to work with. They were organized, responsive, and made the entire process feel easy and calm, which is no small feat during wedding planning. Walking into each event and seeing everything come together was one of the best parts of the weekend, and our guests are still talking about how stunning everything was.
Jessica, you are unbelievably talented. Thank you for taking every “crazy” idea I had and turning it into something more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. We’re so grateful for the care, creativity, and heart you and your team poured into every detail.
Jessica with Anemone was everything we could have hoped for in a florist. She was warm, kind, incredibly talented, and always kept us informed throughout the planning process. She ...
made our vision come to life with the most gorgeous floral arrangements. It's clear that she loves what she does, and that passion shows in every bouquet and centerpiece. We couldn't recommend Jessica and Anemone more!
Anemone is the BEST! Jessica is so knowledgeable about wedding venues and vendors and shared all of that knowledge with us. She helped us narrow down our venues and I’m pretty sure...
every single one of our vendors was recommended by Jessica! She asked the right questions to help her take my loose suggestions of jewel tones and dahlias and turn them into art.
The flowers and tablescapes Jessica created were stunning. My bouquet was beautiful (so beautiful I had it preserved into a stunning piece of wall art!) and the installation on the mulberry tree was breathtaking. I absolutely recommend Anemone for your wedding flowers!
Working with Jessica and the team at Anemone was one of the highlights of our wedding planning process. From the very beginning, Jessica fully understood our vision (despite me kno...
wing nothing about flowers). We wanted a timeless look with white florals and lush greenery, and she brought it to life perfectly. Every detail was stunning, from the elegant bouquets to the show-stopping hanging installation for our ceremony/dance floor that absolutely took our breath away.
Not only did everything look gorgeous, but Jessica also worked within our budget without compromising our vision, a rare and much-appreciated balance. Beyond the beauty, it meant so much to us that Anemone is a sustainable vendor. Jessica helped us compost and donate our flowers after the event, which made the whole experience feel even more meaningful.
We’re so grateful to Jessica and her team for helping make our day feel (and look!) so special. If you’re a Chicago couple looking for a talented, kind, and eco-conscious florist — look no further than Anemone.
Jessica and the Anemone team are the best choice for your wedding floral and decor - we are still in awe when we look at pictures and videos. Each arrangement was elegant, artful, ...

work with. She was attentive and responsive. Florals meant a lot to me for my wedding and I had a specific vision and she understood me very clearly. Our florals and decor looked stunning on the day of and we even had some guests and catering staff take home the centerpieces because of how beautiful they were. I can't recommend her enough!
Jessica is an amazing artist with floral and decor. She truly made the ceremony and the dinner unique and stunning.

essica spent on Zoom calls and emails to help us understand the pros, cons, and practicalities of our ideas. Working with Jessica and Anemone Creative was one of the easiest parts of our entire wedding planning process. We shared our vision and budget, and she made it into a beautiful reality.
Our wedding was an Indian-fusion celebration, and we needed a large Mandap (altar) for the ceremony. We told Jessica we wanted bright florals but weren’t too picky about the types of flowers. Two of our "nice-to-haves" were the inclusion of marigolds, as they are traditional flowers for celebrations and ceremonies in India, and some blue/indigo/violet flower colors. Jessica delivered a gorgeous, flower-covered Mandap that included marigolds! It was truly the centerpiece of our ceremony photos. The bouquets included the vibrant blue colored flowers, as well as roses that matched the bridesmaid dresses, which was a lovely addition. On top of this, Jessica/Anemone Creative had the vision to repurpose several florals from the Mandap for our Sweetheart Table, which also included a simple but creative flip of some hanging flower garlands. During the ceremony, the garlands hung from some open windows in the ceremony space. During the dinner reception, they flipped them the other way, to provide a colorful backdrop for our Sweetheart Table.
The personal florals—bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages—were equally stunning and perfectly matched the vibrant, joyful, multicultural vibe we aimed for with our wedding flowers.
Thank you to Jessica and her team at Anemone Creative. It was a pleasure to work with you, and you made our big day so beautiful.
I found Anemone through my planner, Amanda Paige Events, and they were the perfect choice! My flowers were my most important and most expensive vendor because I wanted everyone to ...
walk in and say WOW. And they did - I got more compliments on my flowers than anything else.
I really only gave Jessica a color/vibe and a budget, and after we discussed my 'vision,' she sent a detailed proposal. Considering how unhelpful my input was, I was amazed at how she achieved exactly the WOW look I imagined. I would definitely recommend Anemone!!

It took just one phone call with Jessica at Anemone to realize she was the one. Trust me, we had intro phone calls with a handful of florists who couldn't remember our names, seemed disinterested, or treated us like we were just another paycheck. Jessica, from phone call #1, was interested in our story, took copious notes, was HONEST... and REAL, and funny! ... she was also really sensitive to our budget, and even improved our vision. Our wedding looked BEAUTFIFUL ... like the kind that takes your breath away. Some of our guests said it "looked like a movie set", and "everything felt so warm."
Plus, the communication to get there was perfect. Jessica always had an idea and always quickly responded to our questions.
Basically, "the florist" was the area we were the most concerned with...and after one phone call with Jessica ... it quickly became the part that we were most comfortable with.
We recommend Anemone 1000x over!
I am not a big flower person, and I definitely did not think I could ever be excited by flowers, but Jess at Anemone Chicago completely blew me away. She listened to the vibe I wan...
ted (I knew nothing about flowers to tell her any specifics) and she ran with it in the most magnificent way. It is hard to find a florist who is able to use as much color as I dreamed of, and Jess was excited and helpful from the beginning. She provided many inspiration pictures along with the proposal, and she brought samples to the final walk through at the venue, so we could really get a sense of her ideas. She was professional and easy to work with. But most importantly, she is truly an artist. We got compliments on the flowers all night, and she really brought the space to life. I would recommend her to anyone!! Thank you Jess!
Anemone was great to work with for our wedding at the beginning of July. During the planning process, we were a little indecisive and vague about our vision. Fortunately, Jessica i...
s an artist with flowers and she was able to create the most gorgeous arrangements with just a few suggestions.
It was also really convenient to be able to rent most of our wedding decor from her too, instead of having to find another company. Her team came and set everything up. And they were so quick and efficient when our ceremony had to be moved inside due to lightning. At the end of the evening, they came and picked up all the rentals, which made things much easier. We took home my bouquet and several of the table centerpieces, which lasted over a week!
I would highly recommend Anemone and Jessica. Our flowers were exactly what I was hoping for, and we got many compliments on them from guests and other vendors.
I spoke with a bunch of florists and ended up going with Anemone because they made me feel comfortable and they were confident in creating designs I’d love within my budget. I was ...
planning my Chicago wedding in Virginia so I didn’t have much control going into it.
I told Jessica my vision (which changed approximately 4 times in 6 months 😂). She was so kind and assured me she understood my vision even though I felt like I couldn’t articulate what I wanted. I’m not a huge flower person, so I needed a professional to take over.
I was SHOCKED when I saw my bouquet. It was out of a fairytale. I was floored by the florals at the ceremony and wanted to cry when I saw the tables at my reception. It was more perfect than I could have ever imagined. The pictures speak for themselves. The florals transformed the venue into a storybook wedding. I’d trust no one else with your floral needs. Delivery was quick, they picked up and packed up at the end of the night. They provided beautiful votives and candles, the hanging lights in the pavilion, and florals for my cake. It was PERFECT.

selves, and she took our initial, admittedly mostly vague, thoughts and turned them into a beautiful vision. The floral arch she created not only was the centerpiece of the ceremony, it was so terrific we used it as the backdrop for all of our posed family photos - and it looks great in each one! The table centerpieces were the perfect size and style for this historic venue and captured our love of wildflowers and the season of Spring in beautiful blues and yellows. The bouquets, corsages and boutineers were perfect and looked great for the entire day in all of our photos too. Throughout the entire planning process, Jessica was kind, understanding and a awesome resource for sharing her experience on what would look great - and she was right!

endliness, and creativity gave us every confidence that she would deliver. She put together a package for us that included boutonnieres, centerpieces, and decor for the ceremony and the reception. She decorated the venue beautifully with fresh leafy vines. The backdrop to our ceremony were fresh leafy vines, and an assortment of candle lanterns. They looked amazing. Before the ceremony, she met us in our ready room, and she placed the boutannieres on us. This was so appreciated. After the ceremony, Jessica discretely moved the lanterns from the ceremony area to the reception venue. Our guests loved the beautiful centerpieces. We could not have been happier with Jessica's design work, and the ease of doing business with her. I absolutely appreciate, and recommend her and Anemone to others.

It was such a great idea and really tied everything together. I cannot say more positive things about our experience with Jess and Anemone!!

to my budget concerns, available for questions and so very knowledgeable about the types of flowers that were in season and showed me a ton of samples so that I would have a realistic idea of what I would see the day of. The flowers exceeded my expectations and it brought together the vision I had so well. I appreciate Jessica working with me to incorporate votives that we had supplied ourselves, putting together tablescapes and arrangements so beautifully and being an expert in her field. Most of all she gave you a level of comfort as wedding planning can be stressful that she would get it done and that was a huge stress reliever. Would definitely highly recommend!
Jessica was wonderful to work with. She listen to my rambling and managed to pull off exactly what I was dreaming. Very professional and I would hire again in a heartbeat.

led my vision for the day and made us feel like she cared about the details of the day as much as we did. We were not just another wedding. She was always quick to respond and very respectful of our budget. When she walked in the room with my bouquet I almost couldn't hold back tears and my jaw dropped when I walked in and saw the arch she had prepared at the ceremony. Such a talented and amazing florist. Do not hesitate!

ess pulled together my vision flawlessly, advised me on how to stick to my budget and rolled with a color palette tweak partway through planning. Not only is her work gorgeous, the colors she brought to our day were so vibrant and fun, just like we pictured. She even whipped up a last-minute (seriously, hours before the wedding) bouquet for a bridesmaid that could make the wedding at the last minute! The arch, the bouquets, the centerpieces and little touches around the venue, all stunning. I couldn't recommend Jess and Anemone more highly!
We booked Anemone for our wedding day (Arch, Bridal Bouquet, center pieces, ceremony decoration, sweetheart table, etc.). Jessica is the best. From the beginning she was truly de...
dicated. The initial communication I provided few pictures of what I envisioned and described what I was looking for on our big day. Then we had a zoom meeting and Jessica shared her suggestions with pictures and her ideas, based on I requested. The zoom call was very productive as I was able to see additional pictures of her work and just by talking to her things would naturally fall into place. I was amazed by her work. She had several ideas and options. You can tell that she love what she does. The floral arch for me was very important. I was much more than pleased with the arch. It was just stunning. Throughout the process, Jessica was very direct, flexible and patient at the same time. I connected really well with her style. She worked with me on many changes and adjustments. We went from doing the wedding ceremony at the church followed by dinner; to having the ceremony and then flipping the room to dinner at the restaurant. I would not have done it without Jessica. What I love the most about Jessica is how straight forward she is. She focuses on what you desire and enhances it at all times. The end result was just perfect. If I were to go back in time, Anemone would remain my number one option. She is a true talent. I look forward to working with Anemone in the near future for other events. The only thing that I regret is not making this review sooner.

ely talented and worked with us to make sure we got what we wanted, not just a cookie cutter version of wedding flowers. Jessica is really creative and we liked her focus on sustainability. We would absolutely hire her again for any floral needs.
I can sum up how good Jessica and her team are in one short story. When she dropped off the bridesmaids' and my bouquets at the hotel where we were getting ready, my makeup artist ...
stopped mid-application and jaw dropped said "Holy Sh*t." That's how good my bouquet was. It was INSANE! Beyond that, she captured my vision for the entire day. I wanted simple. I wanted elegant. I wanted greenery for days. And that's what I got. Thank you so much, Jessica!!
