Im a complete photophobe—Easy to work with, creative and competent. I would hire her again in an instant.
Andi was so great to work with! While she often works in California, she also does work in Wyoming, where we had our wedding (Grand Targhee). She was so friendly, helpful and patie...
nt. We wanted very natural candid photos and she was happy to oblige our requests and suggest great ideas for photos. Her work is beautiful and I can't have imagined having used anyone else!
We met with 6 photographers during our wedding planning, and Andi stood out to us intantaneously with her easy going personality and just sweetness in general. She's one of those p...
eople that even upon first meeting with her, I felt that she was someone I'd love to be friends with, and she truly enjoyed being a wedding photographer. There is also a very honest and heartfelt quality in her work that I didn't always see in photographers who were easily charging double of Andi's rates. We had both our engagement portraits and wedding photos done by Andi and we couldn't be happier with our decision. We felt incredibly comfortable with her limited guidance in the engagement shots and she worked with our ideas. I was nervous about the session but she really knew how to capture our emotions. On our wedding day she arrived early and stayed through the entire event. I didn't notice her as she managed to photograph our most precious moments of our day, along with the emotions that come with it. We just got our wedding photos and it was everything we asked for in telling the story of the best day of my life. I would definitely recommend Andi to any bride or anyone looking for a portrait session, you will not only be not disappointed but thoroughly impressed.
Andi Hatch is the best photographer in the Bay Area! We interviewed nine different wedding photographers and the minute we met Andi we knew she was the one. She's personable, frien...
dly, funny, adventurous, and is an amazing photographer. She takes a journalistic approach and captures not just the memories but all the little moments along the way. We loved both our engagement photos and wedding photos and she turned them around quickly. We were on our Honeymoon when she emailed us our wedding photos and our slideshow. It was so awesome! She captured so many moments, at our wedding, that we didn't even know happened. We would highly recommend Andi. You'll love her!
Andi took our engagement and wedding photos and did a stunning job! Like most other great wedding photographers, she knows how to work with the light and the space she is in, but ...
she goes above and beyond through her easy and natural personality. She instantly made me and my fiance feel comfortable during our engagement session so that she was simply a witness to the love between us. She is super intuitive to people and got to know us, our relationship and our family right away and captured these relationships. We just got the wedding slideshow she put together with music and it is BEAUTIFUL! Everyone I've showed it to so far smiles as they watch it with tears in their eyes. She truly captured the joyful emotions of the day!
Andi Hatch is as good as it gets!! We hired Andi as our engagement and wedding photographer, and we couldn't be happier about our choice. From our initial get-to-know-you meeting...
in a coffeeshop, until the final minutes of a long wedding day, Andi exceeded our expectations the whole way through. She is easy-going, yet professional; courteous and attentive and never overbearing. And she has a great eye for photography (duh!). When we met Andi for our engagement photo session at Pt. Cavallo (under the GG Bridge), we could tell she had arrived early to scope things out. We were really pleased with how the session went and how the photos turned out. Andi put us at ease and was really fun and easy to work with, and she had a great ability to capture special moments and the feeling of the day. We really liked her ability to play off the surroundings and be spontaneous and creative yet produce consistently high-caliber photographs in the end.
On the wedding day at the Mt. Home Inn months later is when Andi really shined! She spent so much time with us, from getting ready at the hair salon, to the late night dancing, and she was always cheerful and easygoing. Andi has a great ability to capture an event and be everywhere at the same time, all while never being intrusive or pushy. And even though she knew how to blend into the background, people commented on how cool she was and how she had a smile on her face the whole time. And it's not hard to smile around her, either (she is cute!). The wedding photos were no less than spectacular, and some shots she took of us overlooking the back side of Mt. Tam were simply amazing! As was the slideshow she put together. We really liked her photo turnover policy, and thought her rates were very reasonable (especially for how well everything turned out!).
Overall, Andi's fun, creative, and professional style, and her artistic eye and wonderful photographic ability all added up to one dynamite experience. We would highly recommend Andi to anyone!
