Our wedding day had unexpected weather, but thanks to Amy, every moment was captured with beauty and grace. Despite the rain, Amy was prepared with back up locations for our weddin...
g photo shoot, adapting to the changing weather conditions (rain, sun, and fog). Her communication was excellent throughout: always clear, prompt, and full of insightful ideas that enhanced our experience. Her patience and flexibility gave us great comfort and ease throughout the whole day.
Amy's photos captured the essence of our day in a way that felt natural and customized to us. Giving her the freedom to express her creativity was the best decision we made; the results were nothing short of delightful surprises, reflecting our personalities and relationship.
On a different occasion (our wedding reception with over 100 people), Amy not only captured the emotions of all of our guests, but also made every one of our guests feel comfortable while taking their pictures. We are eternally grateful for the memories she has preserved and highly recommend her to any couple seeking a photographer who can turn any situation with any group of people into a beautiful, lasting memory.

Amy was amazing all around. Amy shot our wedding in July 2022. We told Amy we wanted artistic photos, we didn't want "boring" wedding photos - and she delivered! Our first-look pho...
tos are magazine quality. She also did a great job telling the narrative of the day. We love our photos and have gotten so many compliments on how cool they are.
From our first conversation with Amy we felt like we were in good hands. Amy genuinely felt interested in us. She was easy to communicate with and relaxed, while also being very reliable and accountable. She was unobtrusive during the wedding, she'd slip in and get some great shots without us feeling like we had the paparazzi. Also, right as the ceremony was about to start, our friend who was officiating didn't have audio. Amy noticed this and ran over to find someone to fix it. This was definitely not her job, but we (and our officiant) really appreciated it. Amy made the photography one of the least stressful parts of wedding planning.
The photos are works of art, and also capture us as us. We can't speak highly enough of Amy.
Amy is such a pleasure to work with, and is so tuned in to all the interesting situations and interactions at a wedding; she also has a great eye and takes wonderful shots.
Amy was the perfect choice for our small wedding in July. Before our wedding day, she was very responsive and helpful with the planning process -- creating a photography timeline, ...
must-have shots list, and helping coordinate when and where photos should be taken. On our wedding day, Amy was extremely supportive, kind, and even managed my rowdy family with grace. She followed up with us immediately after the wedding and delivered the photos promptly. The photographs are breathtaking and I am so thankful to have had her for our special day. Thank you for your beautiful work, Amy!

Amy was the perfect choice for my daughter's wedding celebration. Amy really captured the fun evening in her photographs. She was a pleasure to work with.

o detail. While having photos taken can feel unnatural for many, Amy gave us tips to keep us relaxed and create natural smiles and positioning. Additionally, my husband is a photographer and during out wedding shoot, he knew we would be pleased with our photos based on her attention to the light (he was also very jealous of her camera lens!). Having said that, he is also very pleased with our final photos. I think his confidence was the highest compliment I can pass on. Thank you Amy!
I can’t stop looking at my photos! My husband and I hired Amy to photograph our October 2021 wedding. We recently received our pictures and I love them. Admittedly, I didn’t want t...

ewborn shoot and finally our wedding in July 2021. We had a queer witchy wedding and she totally got it and knew how to capture the ceremony without being obtrusive. She was very easy to work with and made us feel very comfortable even though neither of us had much experience being professionally photographed. She is especially talented at capturing light, color and spontaneity. She is not your run of the mill photographer. Hire her if you want photos that beautifully and authentically capture you and your loved ones!

ed to stay an extra half hour to capture the cake cutting which we really appreciated. Not to mention I was a classic Covid bride and had to reschedule with her THREE times, but I received nothing but positive words and support from her. She is a joy to work with, highly recommend.
From our engagement photos to our wedding photos, Amy was a joy to work with. She strikes the perfect balance of spontaneity and structure, knowing when to let special moments run ...
their course and when to provide direction. On our wedding day, she was laughing alongside us and running down to the beach with us to catch the perfect light and sunset. When we saw the final set of photographs, we were impressed with her ability to artistically capture the joy of our wedding day. We’d highly recommend her photography to any couples planning their wedding!
We need more stars, five isn't even close to enough, we need a whole galaxy!
Before we had our first meeting with Amy, we were a bit nervous because you want those perfect weddin...
g photos; and we were afraid that if anything they'd be just "okay" shots. From the time we sat down with her to the time we left, we had absolutely no doubt that we had found the perfect photographer.
The day of our wedding, Amy took the perfect pictures whether they were posed or candid, it didn't matter because each shot was just as beautiful and perfect as the last one. Amy's photos captured all our special moments, frozen in time. We were so lucky to have Amy as part of our wedding.

Overall, we were quite pleased with all of the pictures and especially the many great candid shots she managed to capture- we couldn't have asked for a better wedding photographer!

and boring looking wedding photos that could have been from anyone's wedding, we wanted fun, lively photos that really captured the joy of the moment. Amy did all of that and more. Amy was wonderful to work with! She was warm, patient, and kind. On wedding day our ring bearer was a little shy taking pictures with everyone and Amy took him under her wing and ...

Not to mention our pictures are out of this world beautiful!!! I am so over the moon for how they turned out. I would recommend her over and over again. Thank you Amy for capturing our love story!

ne I know, attuned to cultural sensitivities, and incredibly passionate. She was also so kind and incredibly patient; my family and I felt that she genuinely cared about us and about making our day special.
I was apprehensive about looking natural in photos, but Amy made me feel comfortable and accommodated all of my wishes for poses, locations, etc. She was flexible and worked tirelessly throughout the 8 hours of our wedding day to capture everything.
To top it off, she was incredibly prompt with returning photos, and they did not disappoint. Her photos reflect the magic of the day and the artistry of her work. She really is masterful in her angles and her use of lighting and her selection of places to shoot. I was stunned. Seven months later, my family and I continue to be thankful that we had Amy there to document such a special day and I would wholeheartedly recommend her!

HIGHLY recommend Amy if you're looking for a professional, reliable and reasonably priced wedding photographer in the bay.

een great. We hired Amy because of her eye for capturing candid moments and can't wait to see what she captured. She was great to work with on the day of and had a great blend of not being in the way or distracting from any part of the wedding, yet I also knew she was there capturing so much of the activity. She has a great style and demeanor and her personality was really reassuring and calming to me as a bride and the rest of my family (who are large and unruly to manage at times!). I also found Amy's rates and packages extremely reasonable for the Bay Area. As someone who doesn't like to be photographed, Amy had a very good knack for relaxing both my husband and I. Very happy!
We are so thankful to have had Amy as our photographer on our wedding day. She worked in a very timely manner, got along well with all of our guests, and most importantly captured ...

e she was. It was very easy, and a great way to facilitate and plan when we would take photos; and considering how valuable wedding reception time is, this was a godsend. We signed our contract with her right away after we saw this.
Amy was very receptive and communicative about our needs either through email or in emergency situations, by phone. During the ceremony and reception she was there at every important moment covering the wedding, but she was never obtrusive. It's almost like she was never really there but somehow captured all the important shots. We enjoyed her very appropriate documentary style. She also impressively avoided a meltdown with our ring bearer who wasn't cooperating during a shot. Everyone in the wedding party were shocked how fast she turned his face around to keep the photoshoot train moving.
From candid shots to poses, Amy is the photographer you want. Great photos, great rates, great person! Thanks again Amy!

big day. We just got our wedding pictures back and they are so beautiful, I can't stop looking at them! Her work really speaks for itself. She got all the candid shots we were hoping for and was very unobtrusive in doing it. I received compliments from many guests saying what a pleasure Amy was, she even trained my 3-year-old niece to take pictures on cue within 5 minutes of meeting her! I would highly recommend Amy for any pictures you may need, no matter the occasion!

f what I was hoping for. She was friendly, outgoing and all of my guests loved her! Not to mention how great she was with my 3 year old nephew/ring bearer who did NOT want his photos taken! She was so sweet to take the time to get him comfortable with her and even let him take a few photos himself to get him warmed up to the camera.
I highly recommend working with Amy!

She was a real pleasure to work with, totally unobtrusive for those candid shots and directive in just the right way for the ‘standard’ wedding shots.

We knew after our phone interview with her that she was going to be the wedding photographer for us and meeting her in person only confirmed that tenfold! She is a pleasure to work with, so warm, calm, reassuring, and helpful in person. The photos were well worth the eager wait after the wedding. the Brazilian Room in Tilden Park during an impressive heat wave, and Amy remained cool and calm, suggesting that we take pictures in the shade of some spectacular redwoods in the botanical garden, which came out just beautifully with almost magical lighting. She captured lots of wonderful moments during our ceremony and reception, and handled wrangling our family members with patience and efficiency. We're so happy with how all the photos turned out!
My husband and I hired Amy to photograph our wedding at the Brazilian Room in Berkeley. Prior to the wedding Amy was meticulous about ensuring that the style of the photography met...
our vision and was willing to be flexible about the way in which our wedding would be photographed (part planned photos and part candid shots). Taking photos before and after the ceremony was really fun and special for us. During the reception she was ever-present, capturing an enormous variety of events as well as strategically asking different parties to pose in fun and interesting ways. She was also very affable and numerous guests commented on how professional they thought she was, as well as how many pictures they saw her taking. We would definitely hire her again!

her for our wedding pictures. We trusted her to do a great job and were not disappointed. On our wedding day she captured each moment with elegance. She asked which photos were most important to us and made sure to get those while capturing all the magic of the day. She had a positive attitude and was easy to work with. We really enjoyed looking though the photos we got from her and we would recommend her services to any couple getting married.

we got all the photos we wanted. After the ceremony, we got swept up into the excitement of the day and Amy was great at capturing all the important moments of the reception without us even needing to worry about it! Most importantly, we loved our wedding photos and are so happy to have them to remember the special day. We would definitely recommend Amy!

She As for communication and planning, she is responsive on text/phone and had detailed timelines for our us to use with planning - super helpful and Amy is a true professional. We cannot wait to get our pictures, since we had the golden hour right after our ceremony for photos and I already have a great feeling, since we could tell Amy was so excited when she was snapping away!
