This place was a NIGHTMARE to work with for my wedding!!! They caused me more wedding stress than literally any other part of wedding planning. I had been going to this salon for ...
several years to get my hair cut and loved Hannah who had been my stylist. When I found out that Hannah also did wedding hair, it seemed like the obvious choice for my wedding. I decided to do both hair and makeup at American Image. I scheduled a trial for both- my hair didn't turn out great TBH, but I trusted Hannah and I LOVED my makeup. The first red flag was when I saw on Hannah's instagram that she moved salons. No one from American Image contacted me to let me know she had left. I had to reach out to them! They did provide another stylist and gave a complimentary trial, but I was annoyed that I had to be the one to figure out the problem. If I hadn't seen Hannah's instagram post, I'm not sure that I would've had someone there on my wedding day to do my hair!! Red flag number two was when the salon double booked my makeup artist. Again, they assigned another stylist and gave another complimentary trial, but this meant that I had to take a half day off work a couple weeks before my wedding just to do another trial! The final straw that compelled me to actually write a review for this place was what happened on the actual wedding day. The receptionist, who was SUPER rude to all my bridesmaids, told them that they didn't have enough stylists to do everyone's hair. They told my bridesmaids that they weren't going to do MY hair, leaving me stranded on my wedding day without a stylist, so my maid of honor just ended up DOING HER OWN HAIR!!! This place is awful, they were super rude and caused me a lot of stress during my wedding. STAY AWAY!!!!

d with my hair since it didnt last as long as I wanted to. Already after the ceremony some pieces of my hair came out and looked messy.
Ann did an amazing job! The salon gave me the VIP treatment during a very busy weekend. My mom and bridesmaids decided last minute that they wanted to get their hair done, and th...
e salon made it happen. Several stylists came in on their days off to accommodate our group. In the week prior I had cut, color, and hilight service done in the salon and loved it. Ann got the look exactly how I had pictured it with little to go on.
I also splurged for the eyelash extensions and airbrush make up. It was the best decision I could have made. My wedding day was rainy and wet, and I am a major cryer, but my makeup looked almost flawless even through the afterbars. The make up was a little more than I'm used to spending on myself, but it was worth every cent.
