Ambient Entertainment - DJ's, MC's, & Uplighting

n to the dance, and was very professional.  He kept the crowd engaged and dancing the whole night and even provided an extra video.  We would definitely hire this company again.

dding to check ins along the way with our DJ Zach, the team at Ambient was very easy to work with and understood our needs from the get go. Zach was wonderful to work with on the wedding day, remaining flexible with cues for the ceremony, speeches, and first dances as our schedule shifted. The team at Ambient provided uplighting to bring the dance floor to life and a photo booth which was a huge hit with our guests. Zach understood the ambience and vibe we wanted to cultivate for the dance floor and delivered to make it a party we will remember for the rest of our lives. The reputation that Ambient has garnered as one of the top wedding DJs in the Twin Cities is well warranted and we hope that many other couples get the pleasure of working with them!

never missed a beat. Highly recommend.

re able to meet through zoom several times to truly form the perfect experience for us. Adrian knows what he’s doing and made sure to continually check in with us during the reception to make sure we were on the same page. This really helped my husband and I to feel seen and heard on our big day. An energetic dance floor on our wedding day has always been important to me. Adrian kept the amazing vibes going the entire time. We never had an empty dance floor! Adrian was also able to coordinate a fun outfit change for us too.  His assistant for the night went above and beyond to send us some footage that he had collected as well. What amazing memories!  Seriously, we had the time of our lives. He was such a blessing!!!

yone laughing all night with the little things you never expect. One of my favorite moments was when he played walk-up songs for our Man of Honor and Best Man. Hearing “Barbie Girl” come on had the whole room cracking up, and it immediately got everyone smiling and involved. Those kinds of moments made our reception feel so much like us. He also somehow managed to keep up with my impossible music taste. I’m the kind of person who wants to change the song halfway through because I get excited about the next one, and he somehow made it all work. Every song kept people on the dance floor, and he always seemed to know exactly what everyone wanted to hear next. But what I’ll remember most is how much he genuinely cared. Looking back through our videos, I found one where he noticed I was getting hot while we were dancing. Without saying anything, he grabbed a fan and pointed it at me so I could cool off. I didn’t even notice it happening until I watched the video later, and it made me tear up a little. It was such a small thing, but it says so much about the kind of person he is. He was paying attention to us all night in ways we didn’t even realize. Not to mention how perfect the lighting, Photo Booth, dance floor, and audio guestbook were.  Adrian brought so much fun, laughter, and heart to our wedding. He made everyone feel comfortable, kept the energy up all night, and somehow made everything feel effortless. He kept every detail true to who we were. If I could do our wedding all over again, hiring Adrian would be one of the easiest decisions we’d make.

unicate with during our meetings. His online platform made it simple to request songs, organize timelines, and plan all the details for the day. On the wedding day, every song was perfectly queued, transitions were seamless, and he kept the energy high from start to finish. He did an excellent job reading the crowd and keeping guests engaged on the dance floor. We couldn’t have been happier with our experience and would highly recommend Zach to anyone looking for a professional, organized, and fun wedding DJ!

to keep the dance floor lively for the entire wedding, even surprising us with some perfect songs we didn't even know we wanted to hear. We could not have asked for a better DJ and MC and would rebook Adrian in a heartbeat. It is well worth the splurge for the Legendary package so you can lock down DJ Adrian for sure. Thank you again, Adrian!

amazing to work with. He was always professional, responsive, and incredibly communicative, patiently answering all of my many questions along the way. Finding all our cultural music and the OGs had the most fun on the dance floor. As someone who tends to be quite anxious, I never once felt stressed or uncertain about what was going to happen next. He made sure everything from the timing of speeches to special dances flowed seamlessly. On the wedding day, Luke absolutely brought the energy. His ability to read the room and keep the dance floor packed until the very end was unbelievable. We’ve heard nothing but compliments from our guests about how much fun they had and what an amazing party it was. The dance floor was busy all night thanks to his talent for keeping the music perfectly in tune with the crowd. From the ceremony, where he helped create a truly grand and memorable entrance for me down the aisle, to the cocktail hour and reception, every moment felt intentional and well-executed. The music, the flow, and the emceeing were all flawless. His energy is truly amazing, and he was the ultimate hype man for our celebration. We are beyond grateful for his professionalism, his skill, and the care he put into making our wedding unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a better DJ experience!

ve had many comments on the music and how it brought energy to the room, even before dancing started! Zach did a great job managing the music transitions as MC and handoffs to group photo callouts and the four presentations. Communications were great with Adrian for contract and event planning and with Zach for music planning. I can't thank Zach enough for helping organize the music and how he enhanced the vibe and energy as the evening progressed! Thank you Zach, Adrian and Ambient Entertainment for creating a memorable evening! I recommend your services without reservation!

rocess, and from the very initial meeting we could tell how much he cared about creating a phenomenal experience during our wedding day - he was so intentional around not just music choice/pacing, but also about things like space setup, lighting, and the flow of the evening. We were nervous as we had never planned an event this large before, but we felt so immediately at ease with his professionalism and clear grasp of what it took to create a great event. We ended up selecting Adrian to serve as our DJ for the day, and wow we could not have been happier. He also was AMAZING throughout our event - not just as a DJ on the mic, but also in terms of how responsive in the moment he was to new information. For example, when he learned during our wedding vows how much we loved nerdy references, he incorporated instrumental versions of some of our favorite references (Lord of the Rings, Miyazaki movies, anime soundtracks, Avatar the Last Airbender) during the dinner background music, which so many of our guests commented to us afterward in delight as they tried to guess some of the songs. In terms of our evening dance, he kept the energy going all night on the dance floor! Many guests told me how much they enjoyed his music selections. Once again he was highly responsive and attentive to reading the room. He also made the brilliant suggestion for our last song to end with “Golden” from KPDH which was a huge hit with our guests and wrapped up our wedding on such a memorable note. So many guests (both during and long after our wedding) kept commenting how much they enjoyed Adrian as a DJ, and what a wonderful experience he helped create. We had such a warm, supportive, and fun experience working with Ambient Entertainment, especially Adrian himself, and truly could not recommend them more highly!

g it up! We went with the Premiere Package and it was perfect for us! Highly recommend them for your big day!

r guests tell us that our wedding was the best wedding that they had ever been to. I definitely recommend hiring Ambient Entertainment!

ity to read the room and keep the music bumping. I appreciated his professionalism and communication through the night. I am a terribly anxious person, but never felt worried about what was next or about dances and speeches going well and being on time. He was available throughout the planning process to answer my many questions and I always felt like he understood my vision. His energy is infectious and we couldn't have asked for a better hype man! The photo booth was a huge hit and I've already seen so many of the pictures posted! We had a few enthusiastic guests party a little too hard in the photo booth, but Adrian kept things running smoothly. He noticed after our event that some of the photos weren't sending and took time to address issues after that night and made sure everyone got their pictures! After 6+ weddings this year, we feel we can confidently say we had the BEST dance party of them all! Thanks Adrian for making our day a HUGE success!

for our event exactly how we imagined. The day of the event, Luke remained very attentive to our desires with the flow of the evening as well as the music that was played at the reception. We received SO many compliments regarding our DJ and the dance floor was energetic all night long. We cannot recommend Ambient and Luke enough!

to confirm announcements, schedule and made sure everything went well. I would recommend Ambient!

was nothing but professional. We decided to do an intimate backyard wedding but needed MC and DJ Services and Zach knew exactly what needed to be done and suggested proper power supply and everything else to ensure our special day went perfectly to plan. They also have a really easy to use planner through their website to make sure everyone was all on the same page which was really helpful. Highly recommend this company!!

His transitions between songs were seamless and reflected with what the crowd was vibing with. For my wedding he went above and beyond by creating an entrance for us based on our favorite show which made it so funny and special for us. I would recommend him for anyone who will listen, 12/10

ortal to create our dream wedding. On the day of the wedding, Zach was outstandingly prompt, respectful and professional. He ran our event so smoothly and the dance floor was alive all night! If I were to ever host another event that needed a DJ I would not think twice and I would hire Zach and Ambient again!

lano Homecoming dance. Not only did he take the stress completely off my shoulders, but he delivered an amazing experience for the students and staff. His professionalism, energy, and ability to read the crowd were spot on the entire night. It’s hard to find someone who can jump in under pressure and make it feel effortless, but DJ Max and the owner of Ambient Entertainment did exactly that. They made us look good, and most importantly, they made the dance unforgettable. I am beyond grateful for their support and can’t recommend them highly enough!

timing, ceremony sites/setups etc. All based on his experiences. We used those pieces of advice throughout our whole planning phases. We got Zach as a DJ. He met with us 3 times. Each time, we came simply came closer to the perfect entertainment picture for us. We were very particular about what songs our bridal party walked up to, and oppositely, we wanted an experienced DJ to read the room and play music people loved. I was NOT going to dictate what Zach could play!! Let the talent work!! We paid for the best package they had. Lights, uplighting, sound and multiple locations. From start to finish, it was the best money we spent. Save money on other things, but not on this. Ambient was worth every. Single. Penny.

ke!

orked our wedding night were fun, energetic, and encouraging. Luke killed his role and we had such a blast! Thank you Ambient Entertainment for making an already memorable day more special ❤️

reat feature that sets them a part. Luke was our emcee and DJ! Luke was super easy and good to work with. We had a few meetings with him prior to the day so we were all the same page. Luke showed up on time and set up without a hitch for our outdoor ceremony and indoor reception! The mics were ready to go and there were no sound issues whatsoever. He also was amazing at keeping us on schedule, without rushing anyone. He did a great job of getting our bridal ready to hype up the crowd for the entrance and was seriously so great at helping us with moving through our speeches. Great playlist as well!! Would definitely recommend!

ng day. Planning was simple and the resources provided by Ambient made it a breeze. On the special day, all went exactly as planned and any last minute adjustments were done with no trouble at all. He was able to accommodate all our requests, the sound quality was amazing (both for music and speaking portions of the day) and when tasked with selecting music for requested genres and vibes throughout the night, Luke did a stellar job. We are so grateful to have had such a wonderful and personable DJ to run the show. Our wedding day was truly the best it could have been and much of the credit can be given to Luke and the Ambient team for truly loving what they do and making it show with the passion he put into every moment of our event. Thank you, Luke and Adrian, for making such a perfect day possible!

nely excited about making our big day unforgettable. Adrian took the time to understand our music preferences, read the room perfectly on the day, and kept the dance floor pumped up all night long! Every moment—from our ceremony and cocktail hour to dinner and the dance party—was flawlessly executed. Adrian seamlessly mixed songs, handled requests with ease, and even worked in a few fun surprises that we loved! Our wedding wouldn’t have been the same without him. If you’re looking for a DJ who’s not only talented but also super fun, reliable, and truly passionate about what they do, definitely consider Adrian! We 100% recommend him!

go as planned and the vibe of the reception was not what we were hoping for. The dance floor cleared multiple times playing songs that were not on our playlist we had worked so hard creating.

g night so much fun with everyone on the dance floor. Worked to make out specific request and was a fun guy to be around. Zach was a huge piece in making sure the day ran smoothly. We couldn't have done it without him.

on when asked. He was very easy to communicate with - on multiple occasions we were emailing him with small changes and he was prompt in response and diligent in making any changes. We loved that we could communicate directly with Zach who would be the one at our wedding and that we weren't blasting emails into a corporate inbox. He set up a sound check with our officiant and flute player prior to family pictures so everyone was good to go. He blended sounds perfectly given the outdoor setting. He kept the dance floor fun and lively all night. thanks Zach, you were great and we had the perfect night!

s and it was a super fun, easy, and fantastic time! He accommodated our needs several times over (wedding on a Memorial day weekend, helped with A/V for TWO ceremonies the same day and attended both rehearsals the day prior, and helped us navigate day-of schedule changes in the moment). He's extremely personable, a fantastic and prompt communicator, and has a deep knowledge of A/V necessary to put on large events. Starting with the initial consultation, song list choice, and music for each ceremony and scheduled event, Adrian made us feel welcome and frankly made everything super easy. We would absolutely choose Adrian again for any DJ and/or emcee needs as he did a great job helping us with both.

ressed up, iconic). He was so easy to work with as well, and really went all out for our themed wedding which meant so much to us. Would highly recommend him for any event!

kage also came with lighting which made the room so so beautiful, and we had a blast!

and really got the crowd engaged. Highly recommend!

r planning meetings. The dance was incredible and the dance floor was packed the whole time! Luke brought everything we hoped for to life!

de sure to give us the rundown on the mics and made sure he could pronounce all of our names correctly for the grand march. He catches the guests attention with announcements and the music at the end of the night was such a blast!! Thanks again, Matron of Honor

ime! Luke kept the party going, and also was great at MCing various parts! If you want high energy and a packed dance floor all night for your wedding then Luke is your guy! Can't thank him enough for making our special day as memorable and fun as he did!

of the whole day. Every couple needs the Love Story service, make sure you ask about that, it’s priceless! The uplighting transformed our venue, the Photo Booth was never empty, and he kept the dance going even with our lower guest count. He was also a joy to communicate with in the whole process - we couldn’t imagine a better service!

read the crowd well, if something wasn’t working he switched it up. Would definitely recommend Ambient Entertainment & Luke!
