Ambience Live brought the perfect upscale vibe to our wedding cocktail hour. The vendor coordination was incredibly easy and we never had any worries about their performance or logistics on the day.

Musicians from Ambience Live performed at our engagement party in May of 2026. We requested a string quartet to play background classical music for the "reception" portion, and that was all the information they needed, performing the perfect soundtrack for the event. All musicians were from the prestigious Julliard. They were a fantastic addition that elevated our event - super organized and on the ball. I couldn't recommend them enough!

Ambience Live is a collective of NYC-based musicians trained at The Juilliard School and other top U.S. conservatories. We've performed at Carnegie Hall, The Met Museum and The Frick Collection, and now we bring that same world-class musicianship to your wedding.
We offer soloists, duos, trios, quartets and larger ensembles, featuring strings, guitar, voice, flute and more. Everything is tailored to your taste, from classical and jazz to timeless favorites and Bridgerton-style covers of modern pop songs.
Not sure what you're after? Just tell us the vibe and your budget. We'll suggest the right instruments and repertoire and handle all the planning behind the scenes, so all you have to do is enjoy the music on the day.
Ceremony packages start at $750, with discounted rates when you book music for multiple parts of your day. Every couple who books also receives a custom arrangement of a song of their choice.

Lara Mladjen
Founder
With a recently attained Master of Music degree from The Juilliard School (2025), Lara Mladjen brings a decade of experience performing at weddings and corporate events across Australia and New York City. As a Gluck Community Service Fellow at Juilliard, she has led interactive musical performances in partnership with organizations across New York City. She remains an active performer with numerous ensembles in the early music and classical spheres, with which she has toured to China, the U.K., France, Germany, Italy, and more.
Lara founded Ambience Live after meeting one gifted classical musician after another who simply lacked the connections to reach new audiences. She saw a chance to bring their talent to the moments that matter most, and now she matches couples with musicians who make their special moments feel truly special.
