She was even amazing at picking up on when I was getting really overwhelmed and helped get everyone out of the room for a few minutes so I could collect myself. From the initial booking to getting my GORGEOUS photos back, I cannot say enough good things about her and all that she did for us on our special day! We used Amberlee for our engagement photos and for the wedding, and while the weather wasn't 100% cooperative on the day we had originally picked for the engagement photos, she still managed to get some of the most beautiful shots of us between the clouds. We have over 1900 photos from between the 2 events and I could not be happier with everything!

She meticulously sees every detail from the reflection off Grandpa's eyeglasses to a flying strand of hair on the flower girl. She makes sure everyone in every picture looks their best, but somehow she does it so quickly and keeps everyone light and happy in the process. She absolutely radiates joy which is contagious and then reflected in her pictures. She is a catalyst of genuine smiles from those who are otherwise not photogenic, maybe are nervous, or hate to have their picture taken. I don't know how she does it. Yet, most of the time, you don't even realize she is there, but she is always there catching every moment. She is an absolute genius. Although the consummate professional before, during and after, she is so down to earth, real, kind, funny, and an absolute joy to have around. We have done 3 family weddings with her now, and every time it is the same outstanding experience. Any photographer can have a good day and get a good review. But after 3 weddings, I can confidently say she is consistently outstanding every single time. In my opinion, there is no other wedding photographer. There will be more weddings to come for my family, but there won't be any other photographer except Amberlee Christey.

I had a lot of big personalities in my wedding party and family and she really worked to get everyone on the same page and capture some amazing moments. I am so glad we brought her out from Morgantown to DC to help make our day so special!

an engagement photo shoot with her as well and I really recommend doing this. This gave us a chance to get to know her before our big day and by telling her what photos were our favorites she got a feel for what kind of photos we prefered. We also are not very good at coming up with poses for photos- my husband and I suck at it actually- but this was not a problem for Amberlee. She had a ton of different poses for us to do that looked great and weren't akward. Also she also captured so many candid moments- which happens to be my favorite ones- both at our wedding and at the engagement shoot. She made sure to capture all of the moments that we wanted and was so fun to work with. She is also very dedicated to what she does as well (the one day that we could take outdoor engagement photos before the wedding it was 91 degrees and she was still up for it and took some amazing photos that day!). I 100% recommend her and her team. They are great at what they do and take very high quality photos!! Not only did we have a great photographer for our wedding but now a great friend!

She was quick to respond and spent time on the phone with me. Created the perfect package for our small intimate wedding with a Sunset photo shoot. Our original wedding date had to be cancelled due to Covid and she was so amazing with changing things around to accommodate our new date. Meeting her, I felt like I had known her forever. Felt so comfortable with her, soo many laughs! She did an amazing job with our photos and capturing pictures we didn't even know she was taking! She does an amazing job with making sure being in the right spot for lighting and our sunset photos turned out beautiful as well. I am so glad she was part of our day! I would highly recommend her!

She met with us prior to the wedding and asked us a ton of questions to make sure that she covered all the parts of the wedding that were important to us. On the day of the wedding, she arrived with a basket of essentials that one might need, but not have, to help allay some of the stress of the wedding (everything from safety pins to snacks for the bridesmaids and bride). She even brought Doritos because my daughter had mentioned that she loved Doritos! She was very non-obtrusive through the whole event. You even forgot that she was there (until you needed something, then she magically showed up to help- i.e. my daughter had issues with her bustle and Amberlee knew what to do and how to fix it)! We also had the photo-booth, which her husband ran, and we were extremely glad that we chose that also. Everyone had a lot of fun with it! I would highly recommend Amberlee to photograph your special event. I cannot say enough good things about her. You can tell that she loves to photograph weddings. If you hire her to photograph your wedding, but you will get so much more than a photographer!

date and she worked with us everytime we had to change it. She was one of the few vendors we had that worked with us during this crazy time. The day of our wedding there was a tornado watch all day and it stormed ALL DAY. 😅 Our Florist, Amberlee, and my sister in law all got stuck in traffic from an accident that shut down the north and southbound lanes of the interstate for two hours. She ended up getting to my room before anyone else and helped me get ready. When we got to the church, she helped distribute the boutonnieres and flowers and even had extra floral pins. She did so much more for us on our wedding day than take pictures and I can't even express how appreciative we are! She also took our engagement pictures and they are beautiful. Hiring Amberlee is worth it! ❤️❤️❤️ And we plan on working with her in the future too!

s safe to say she captured everything perfectly. My partner & I are very playful and adventurous folks; Amberlee suggested us to play together on the playground and the photos are outstanding. To be honest, the photos are only HALF of the experience. Amberlee's timeline helped to keep our wedding day on track, and she made sure that we took pictures with everyone on our photo list, as well as many others. Amberlee has a very outgoing, creative, & fun personality! During our entire wedding day, she was constantly positioning us for the best shots, lighting, etc.. We had a wild wedding party & she was great at corralling people for pictures. She has AMAZING talent to accompany her personality! She was an absolute joy to work with! Come to find out... she is SO MUCH MORE than that. Before she even came to my room to begin taking pictures of us getting ready, she had already scoped out the venue and picked out the most perfect spots for our pictures. Once she made it to our room, she arrived with an emergency box filled with anything you might need and a bag of Doritos (since I made a joke about keeping Doritos in my dress pockets). Throughout the night, Amberlee went above and beyond— fixing my dress bustles, transporting us to different picture sites, offering help in any way that she could. I loved all of my vendors, but I can honestly say Amberlee was a special one. I hired a photographer and got so much more than I bargained for in the best way. THE PERFECT photographer in my opinion

One of the biggest things that stood out to us, aside from the amazing photos we received, was the true professionalism and organization she provides. From the start, we were provided a questionnaire and preparation guide, that helped educate us on everything that would be happening, as well as the things we needed to do on our end. My wife especially enjoyed this, as it instantly made her more comfortable knowing all the things she needed to do and prepare. We knew we were in good hands. She had a really positive attitude and I remember that she stayed longer than I expected on my wedding day to get photos. Her prices were a little high for me, but you get what you pay for because now I have so many beautiful pictures to look back on my wedding day.

She's fun, she's an insanely hard worker and she loves what she does - and this is possibly the most important part. In the lead up to our wedding, she was always available for any worries we had (which is no mean feat when you are in a different continent and time zone!) She even helped with set up of the hall and calming my stresses - especially of family members who like to micromanage. We had so much fun with Amberlee as our photographer; yes we have the stunning formals, but we also have pictures of the 'real' moments: pulling silly faces, my mum trying to carry all the bouquets, the groomsmen ripping their suits, the best man dropping one of the bridesmaids. Pictures that sum us up as a couple, as a family. Amberlee's love of all things wedding is infectious, she will make you laugh, she will make you look and feel incredible, she's a light through the wedding day stresses, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to absolutely everyone, and I can't wait to have a reason to book her again (because it's Tuesday is a reason, right?)

On the day of my wedding, my transportation didn't show up on time, so Amberlee loaded me (dress and all) and the groom into her car and drove us to our picture location so I wouldn't miss out on any of the pictures I wanted. first met with her we had our then 4 year old daughter with us and she was so patient and made us all feel at ease. Upon looking at her work we knew without a doubt we NEEDED her to photograph our wedding, and we were right. She made our entire family feel comfortable, kept everyone laughing, and caught special moments throughout the entire night, and half the time nobody knew she was there! She honestly went way above and beyond for us, and we will forever be grateful! She’s truly magical. Not only was she incredible to work with, but the images are TOP quality. he has such an eye for detail that I believe puts her ahead of the game. She was punctual and VERY organized. She laid out a timeline of our wedding, not just for pictures- a timeline of the entire day. In other words, you also get a partial wedding planner out of Amberlee too, lol. She had lists of family pictures and specific things we wanted and made the process very efficient. Several times I was like hey could you get a picture of this or that, and she had already done it. She was so polite and gracious with everyone she encountered and was truly a pleasure to be around. I want to add that our ceremony was supposed to be outdoors but had to be moved indoors last minute due to rain and she handled things with such grace. And speaking of rain, it was also 85° and literally the most humid day so of course my hair was a mess- and she fixed and fluffed and twirled and worked some real magic to help me stay put together so I’m extra thankful for that 😂 She also brought an emergency kit with her that had everything you could ever need, and saved my life with an extra earring back. She also had a second shooter for the whole wedding which is so wonderful. I felt comfortable that everything we could have wanted photographed was done so, and at two different angles 😏 We also added her photo booth to our package and our guests had SO much fun. They had so many props and she had someone running the booth the whole time to help everyone and give them their pictures, which came on the cutest film strips that she designed herself with a logo of our dogs- how above and beyond is that?! In conclusion, I believe photography is one of the most important parts of a wedding, it’s truly an investment and with Amberlee you can relax and enjoy your wedding knowing that she’s going to capture one of the best days of your life in the most beautiful way. She seriously rocks and my husband and I have been talking about how wonderful she made our day. ❤️ *Please note that these are my feelings after receiving a sneak peek of about 20 photos, and just from receiving those few (compared to the thousands she took) I feel that I would be satisfied if those were the only photos I got- truly. **update, we’ve since received our full gallery and we are blown away.
