Amber McWhorter Photography

edibly organized, professional, and thoughtful in her approach. During our engagement shoot, she made us feel so at ease — and that comfort carried through beautifully on our wedding day. Despite how hectic the day was, Amber made sure to prioritize the specific photos we had requested, never missing a beat. Beyond that, she captured all of the photos that we didn’t even know we needed. She has a special way of making you feel natural and relaxed, which truly shines through in every image. The photos turned out more beautiful than we ever imagined — I honestly never dreamed I would have wedding photos this stunning. One thing that especially amazed me was how Amber handled the little imperfections — I had a few (…but rather significant) dress and skin issues on the big day, but you’d never know from the photos. She worked some kind of magic and made everything look flawless, all while keeping the lighting and moments incredibly natural and timeless. Her talent and attention to detail are nothing short of miraculous. Amber didn’t just take photos — she captured every precious moment with care, authenticity, and an artistic eye. If you’re looking for a photographer who is both professional and warm, and who will deliver photos that are timeless, glowing, and full of heart—Amber is your person. She truly gave us memories we’ll cherish forever.

ry due to the hurricane. Amber was extremely flexible, professional and great to work with! From the first consultation to the final gallery delivery, every step of the process was smooth and enjoyable. Lakewood Ranch is a stunning venue, and Amber captured its beauty perfectly—from the grand ballroom to the lush greens and golden hour over the fairways. Amber had an incredible eye for detail and made us feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera, which really shows in our photos. The candid moments, emotional shots, and romantic portraits are everything we hoped for and more. On the day of the wedding, Amber was punctual, organized, and worked seamlessly with our planner and other vendors. Amber kept us on schedule without making us feel rushed and was an absolute joy to have around—friendly, calming, and genuinely excited to capture our day. The final photos were delivered on time, beautifully edited, and presented in a gorgeous online gallery. We’ve already received so many compliments on them, and we’ll treasure them forever. If you’re getting married in the Tampa Bay Area do yourself a favor and book Amber McWhorter. You won’t regret it!

ly brought out the magic in every moment. From the very beginning, she was professional, knowledgeable, and so easy to work with. ng our planning. Amber is an excellent photographer who truly captures all the love and joy on your wedding day. As a couple who doesn’t love being the center of attention or love being in the eye of the camera, amber makes you feel so comfortable and confident. we’ve only received sneak peaks and we love them so much already. we highly recommend amber to anyone!

dly and patient, but she was also great with directing us since we hadn't done a photoshoot before. We quickly recieved sneak peeks and we chose our invitation photos without even needing to see the rest! That's how much we loved what we saw. On the day of the wedding, Amber was truly a professional, and because of her experience, helped me feel relaxed in knowing she would capture every moment. We will continue to recommend her to everyone looking for a photographer, and will not hesitate to reach out should we want to do another photoshoot. Thank you for everything Amber!

tured of couples and the editing style. We first met Amber during our Engagement shoot and she was wonderful with helping direct us be natural for our photos, but also accommodating to all FOUR of our crazy dogs at the beach! On wedding day, Amber and her 2nd shooter were fantastic with capturing our emotions, the lighting, fun moments with our family & friends, and our dogs! There were so many photos that Amber provided for our wedding day, and I'm truly am amazed at how quick the turn-around time was! Thank you so much Amber!! :)

d uploaded our albums in a timely manner. We're not from the Clearwater area so she was able to give great location suggestions. I highly recommend booking Amber!!

ght away following our engagement session that she would be perfect for our big day. She was extremely organized and made our wedding day flow so smoothly. We received so many compliments regarding Amber and her efficient / professional shooting style. She even got sneak peeks delivered to us while on our honeymoon! We just received our full wedding gallery only a month following the wedding and are blown away by the photos! We cannot recommend Amber enough and will continue to use her for any of our photography needs.

ed up also booking and loved) and helped us create a timeline. Her photos speak for themselves. Her editing style brings the scenery colors to life while focusing on the emotion and feeling of the moment. We loved our engagement session and she made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. On wedding day she was early and keeping us on schedule. She designed a great shot list that helped me remember photos I definitely wanted but didn't even think to add to the list. She ensured we got every combination of family group photos too. During the reception, she was always at the center of the action and documenting priceless moments. Every time I get to look at our gallery I'm taken right back to that day. She was so quick in getting us our final gallery even during peak busy season. I am so lucky we get to look at these photos forever. I truly can't imagine our wedding day without Amber!

l and flexible and a joy to be around. We CANNOT wait to see the pictures! Do yourself a favor and hire her for all your wedding photo needs, you will be so happy you did! Thank you again for capturing all our special moments! 🤍

with our pictures! Neither one of us are very photogenic, and we were nervous about looking awkward in our pictures. Amber did a great job making us feel comfortable and making sure that every detail of our big day was captured! She even got some unplanned details when my dad and I had an impromptu first look. I will definitely hire her again the next time that I need any pictures.

decided to go with Amber and we’re so glad! Her level of details of what she captures is absolutely amazing. We did our engagement session with her also and both of us didn’t know what really to do and she guided us throughout the session and the photo came out amazing. We knew the wedding photos were going to be gorgeous. She also worked at my venue before so she knew what and when to capture the photos and I’m just speechless. I would highly recommend Amber for any of your photos needs. I’m considering booking her for future photos session!

nt photography needs if I lived in FL!! Her photos blew us away and we have only received the sneak peeks as our wedding was April 14th, 2023!! We are very excited to see the full album! For her prices, the photos are absolutely amazing! You won't be disappointed!

hitting Florida in September. Amber was so great to work with and more than willing to work with me and figure out how to travel for my April wedding in New Jersey. Amber is attentive, professional, responsive, and so kind. She is insanely creative and so good at what she does, which shows in the amazing photos! She was a dream to work with and I would recommend her to all brides!

ures we were wanting to be captured. She made our engagement session and wedding day a breeze. Her second photographer was also great for when the guys were getting ready. I would hire Amber again and again, for every chapter of our lives.

around to leaving her a review! Amber’s photography is consistently stunning - with an authentic and organic feel to it. She is professional and ALWAYS exceeds expectations. She is worth every penny (and more!) - we see her work as art and a family investment. Amber is also so much more than just a photographer - she is skilled in organizing large groups (30 person family portrait at a wedding) or navigating a 2 year old fixated on heading to the playground instead of a family photo shoot. My advice is to book her early, book her often and stick with her - my friends that have used her say the same, her work is truly better than any local photographer.

to have Amber and her assistant both shoot our wedding and Amber was 8 months pregnant and still the photos came out absolutely beautiful and truly speak for themselves! We get told all the time that you can “feel” the moments she has captured! We will forever be grateful we chose her ! Amber will be our go to photographer to follow us on our journey through our next chapter’s of life!

nough words to describe how incredible all the photos were! She really knows how to find those perfect angles and the natural lighting. Since we were having a small beach ceremony, I wanted to be able to have couple photos that really showed the uniqueness of Boca Grande. We took pictures at a few different locations and they all turned out amazing! Not only do I have pictures on the beach, but I have pictures at the lighthouse, banyan street, and Gasparilla Inn. We received our pictures very quickly and everyone is so in love with them! We are so grateful to have had Amber capture our wedding day!

day of photo memories . She made us feel relaxed, and got great shots! I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer!

making sure we were on track with our timeline, was so efficient and patient with our families, and our photos turned out amazing! al pictures taken until we did our engagement session with Amber, and she made us both feel so comfortable and confident in front of the camera. She helped me to create a timeline for the day of our wedding, and she also recommended a new DJ for us when ours cancelled a few weeks before the wedding. Our wedding was the first wedding I had been to, so I had no idea what to expect and was so nervous for how everything was going to come together. Amber helped me to relax when it started raining, and she helped us to know where to go and what to do next on our wedding day. She even instructed us on how to properly cut our cake LOL! Our pictures are so beautiful and we get so many compliments on them. We are so grateful for Amber and the time that she spent with us, and how punctual she was about getting our pictures back to us (seriously, she is so fast it is amazing). We are excited to have her photograph us again in the future. If you are looking for a photographer for any occasion, Amber is the perfect choice!

She is very easy to get along with and is able to give directions on cool positions and locations. Her Instagram is also full of great tips and tricks for photography sessions. I will never use another professional photographer.

nd each time the process was professional and allowed us each to get the creative shots we needed to best service the client. I can't wait for my next chance to work with her as part of my videographer company Martin media Production.

day of changes with COVID. Amber's photos also left everyone in our family speechless from the quality and beauty she is able to capture with the photos appearing to have no filter based on her ability to use natural lighting. We would highly recommend Amber to anyone and cannot wait to work with her again in the future for any other special occasions in our life.

f our photos turned out for both our engagement and wedding photos. She had great communication skills, was very available throughout the entire process and also took amazing photos. My husband and I can't wait to cherish these photos for the rest of our lives. 10/10 would recommend working with Amber!

and made sure to get all the little details! Her pricing was very fair and you get high quality for what you pay. We are so happy we decided to go with Amber and you will be too!

e sure to get every shot in a timely manner. She was helpful and patient when I wasn’t feeling well and had to stop for a few moments because of an illness associated with pregnancy. She has always been prompt on answering questions and getting back to us. We are so very thankful to have had her capture our big day!

y talented! I would definitely recommend and book her for any of my special occasions!

as calm, in-control and reassuring even in moments when it started raining, or the bridal party was getting a bit rowdy. I can't stop gushing over our album and how unique to our personalities it is. I would highly recommend Amber!
