Amazing Alterations

on. The associate who worked at the front desk at the time told me the pricing of what I was paying for and asked me what I didn’t want to pay for. She confirmed that she was charging me for the highest range of the work that I planned to have done so that I would be all paid up and the only way I would need to add more money would be if I had additional work done or things that I changed my mind on. When I came to my second alteration appointment in Feb 2026, there were snags in the front of my dress. They were very obvious and it was the first thing that I noticed so when I asked them how this happened they didn’t know, but they said they would fix it. When I was done finding out that it was damaged, they took me to the counter and told them I owed them even more money than I originally paid prior to. When I told them that I was told I paid for everything upfront, I was verbatim told “ Yeah, I’m sorry that girl doesn’t work here anymore and I don’t know why she would’ve said that you — you only did a down payment not the whole thing so you are going to owe additional dollars for the work that we’re doing” I can’t help what was said or done and I can’t help that the associate doesn’t work there anymore either. I wouldn’t make that up to get out of paying more money. But that was exactly what I was told upfront and I was extremely frustrated to find out that I was owing them more money & my dress was damaged. I told them I was not comfortable giving them any money until I knew my dress was fixed. They told me it would be ready in about a month and they would call me. After they never called me or emailed me or reached out after a month, I tried to call in March. Nobody answered so I left a voicemail. I tried to call a couple weeks later- Nobody answered, so I left another voicemail and sent them an email. I also sent FB messages. Nobody got back to me the entire month of March or April -come May I had left 3 voicemails 3 emails and a Facebook message with no response. I reached back out to the place I bought the dress from who had originally recommended them and they were appalled by the fact that they went missing on me for months. After they finally got a hold of them for me-I get a phone call. “oh yeah your dress is done. Why don’t you come on in?” Not only is disappearing for 2 1/2 months unacceptable but the lack of communication was terrible. When I came back in to try it on there was this new bump in the front of the dress that wasn’t there previously. They kept blaming it on the type of dress and how fitting it was, but it didn’t look like that before. I hoped that at my final fitting after everything was ready to go that it would look better. Final- I continued expressing at the final fitting that I did not like the front because of the bump so then they started taking things out of it, claiming it was going to help it, but the bump was still there. Not only do I feel sad about my dress looking the way that it did. I also was still responsible for paying for all it. No regard for what I was told prior. There was no customer service or making things right. Their solution was giving me a “steam” for free, which was supposedly “ Better than they usually would’ve offered” I was mortified. I will never recommend anybody to go here. 

urs, but I had no issues scheduling appointments. My dress and sleeves turned out beautifully and I appreciated that they recorded a video on how to bustle my dress for my MOH. I wanted to bring my mom, MIL, MOH, and personal attendant to my appointments and they accommodated us.  The cost was more than I expected but I don’t think they’re priced high compared to other stores. I think it’s just because my dress needed a lot of attention.  The only disappointment I experienced while working with them was having to ask a few times for my final photos due to them not being delivered still 3 weeks after they said they’d send them. I thought maybe they’d been lost. But that’s not what you hire them for!  Overall, I recommend this team anytime I see a bride looking for alterations!
