arty looked our best. I booked Amanie several months in advance and she remained in constant touch via email and phone to ensure that my schedule went smoothly. My wedding day beauty prep went absolutely perfectly and on time. Amanie gave advice on touching up during the wedding day, but I honestly didn’t need it because my makeup held beautifully from 11am until the end of the reception at midnight! My eye makeup did not budge at all and my problem skin looked perfect in all my photographs. A bonus is that I forever hold bragging rights that I had an Emmy award-winning makeup artist for my wedding :-) I had a fantastic experience with Amanie Mokdad and wholeheartedly recommend her to all the brides I know.
She was great! Did my make up exactly how I wanted it, and it stayed on all day/night

uled a trial with her to see how we connected. It was really important to me to have vendors that put me at ease. Amanie was such a delight. She has a great sense of humor and totally looked out for me on the day of, refilling my champagne and keeping me relaxed. During the trial she stopped at different intervals to say "we can do it like this, or like this". She showed me how to touch up on my own and gave me a list of the final products so I could purchase my own for freshening. I received so many compliments and my pictures were nothing short of amazing. I cannot say enough positive things about Amanie. You absolutely get what you pay for and she is worth every penny.
I felt beautiful on my big day! I went in to a trial with her as well prior to my wedding and any changed I wanted to make, she was so great about it. Everyone was so impressed wit...
h my makeup and great it looked
She was a bit late, but I planned it out so that I would have ample time to get ready.. She's just so great that she is incredibly busy!
After 30+ emails arranging and confirming the time and date, she canceled two days before the wedding. Seems her real job is doing TV work and she was called away. Had no idea sh...
e would do that to us - would be good if she would advertise that weddings are second priority and she can cancel at any minute. She did find us another makeup artist - who charged us more than Amanie agreed to.
