I bought my reception dress from Amanda's Collection this month. They had an okay selection of bridal gowns, not much in the way of smaller sizes, sexier styles, or untraditional w...
edding gowns. Their prom selection is also leaves something to be desired.
I only spoke to Amanda on the phone who seemed very apt to help, but was busy with other clients both times I visited the boutique.
The older lady who helped me was nice but not very welcoming. If it wasn't for me falling in love with the dress and not being able to find similar locally, I would not have purchased from them.
It seemed as if they could take or leave my business which leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
Amanda's Collection is the place to go for your wedding and prom dress needs! I first went to Amanda's Collection in 2010 for my high school prom because I wanted a dress that no o...
ne else had. I found the most gorgeous dress and knew I would go back for my wedding dress. Fast forward to 2020 and I was back at Amanda's! It was a unique situation because I had a very specific dress in mind. I had found a separate wedding top that I fell in love with and took it with me to Amanda's. They were so accommodating and helped me find the perfect wedding skirt to go with my top to make my wedding dress dreams come true!!
Amanda’s Collection is absolutely wonderful! The staff is extremely sweet and they were easy to work with. I got my bridal gown from them, along with bridesmaids, tuxes, and a dres...
s for my flower girl. They made it less stressful and were extremely helpful throughout the process. I had my alterations done here as well, and it turned out perfect.
Amanda's Collection and their staff were so patient and kind. They had an incredible selection of wedding dresses. I was there for 2 hours looking for the perfect dress; and that w...
as after trying on dresses at 2 other places previously. I was looking for something so specific and every ounce of feedback I gave, the lady helping me brought back something closer and closer to what I was looking for. Then finally, the very last dress, at hour number 2, the perfect dress was brought to me. I felt beautiful!!!!!
It needed to be altered some to fit me perfectly, and Amanda did an incredible job. The dress fit me like a glove and I've never felt more beautiful in my life!!! I highly recommend Amanda's Collection for bridal needs!
I cannot recommend Amanda's Collection enough! I went in to try on dresses and fell in love with the first dress I tried on! Alterations appointments went so smoothly and they were...
so accommodating when having to change appointment times due to Covid. My dress was altered to perfectly fit my body and I have received SO MANY compliments! They are truly the best!
I was nervous about getting my wedding dress altered because of all of the horror stories out there, but I trust Amanda wholeheartedly and knew I couldn’t be in any better hands. I...
brought my dress in on a Friday and it was ready to be picked up Monday morning for my bridal portraits. The week of the wedding, I felt like it needed to be taken in more and Amanda squeezed me in the very next morning (which was a Thursday and our wedding was on Saturday). She altered my dress right then and there, it was finished and fit like a GLOVE in less than an hour. Not only does Amanda genuinely love what she does, but she’s incredibly talented too. She’s such a sweet person and I’m so grateful to know her - I speak of her and her work so highly, I can’t recommend her enough!
Amanda’s collection was AMAZING! Gentry helped me with every detail from the moment we walked in the door. I was trying on dresses with my sister and we had their undivided attenti...
on from beginning to end! They weren’t pushy or overbearing like other places I went to before, and they have a large collection of dresses in so many styles and price ranges. They were beyond helpful and sweet, it was an experience i’ll remember for the rest of my life! Seriously so could go on for days about how outstanding they were, I even received a card congratulating me written by Gentry herself! Couldn’t recommend enough!
Amanda is awesome... I haven’t shopped for myself but when I helped my sister shop for hers she had exactly what she was looking for at a reasonable price.... I can’t wait to come ...
look at dresses for myself 6/2019
Amazing staff, and a great collection of dresses. When I was first searching for a dress, I came here on a whim; even though I hadn't made an appointment and they were pretty busy,...
Amanda somehow squeezed me in and helped me find dresses that were completely my style. I came back with an appointment a few weeks later to try on a couple of the dresses I had liked, and then I found the one. Every step of the way, Amanda was super helpful, so friendly, and she made sure everything was perfect. Her whole staff is wonderful, and I highly recommend them!
I love Amanda's! These ladies went above and beyond to make our day special!!
Amanda and her knowledgeable staff were so helpful and accommodating to me in finding the perfect dress within my budget!
Highly disappointed. One would think after spending $1,000 on a wedding dress and over $300 on alterations they would get it done right and on time. The day before my wedding I wen...
t to pick it up anD it didn't fit properly. I had went back for alterations atleast 3 times. The day I walked down the aisle there were pins left in the bottom throughout the layers. As I walked I had to ignore the pins poking at my ankles. Instead of enjoying that moment, I had to make a conscious effort to not trip over the unfinished dress and not look uncomfortable. To top it off I had pins falling down the aisle as a walked. Later, I ended up tripping over the unfinished thing while dancing. I refuse to ever recommend this place or ever go back. WHAT A LET DOWN.
My experience with Amanda's collection as the bride was pretty good. I did end up buying the sample, and only got 10% off the price..because when the new dress came in it was the t...
otal wrong size. The main issue we had was with my bridesmaids, who were told multiple times that they had gained weight - very unprofessional. One of my bridesmaids had most defiantly not put on weight and was told she put on 3 inches... If anything, I would have went elsewhere for the bridesmaid dresses.
I bought my bridal gown and the bridesmaids' dresses from Amanda's. the service was incredible. Alterations were done quickly. The staff made me feel so special.
Excellent service and quality dresses!! Highly recommend!
I stopped into Amanda's Collection with my future Mother in Law one day while we were vacationing in Myrtle Beach to just browse and get an idea of what kind of dress I might like....
I fell in love with a Maggie Sottero gown. I left the salon that day without the gown because I wasn't sure if the $1500 price tag on the dress was worth it to me or not. I had set my budget at $1000 prior to looking and didn't want to go over it. I went back later in the week to Amanda's Collection and the store owner came out and offered sample gown to me "as is" at a discounted price. After checking over the gown to be sure there were no major flaws or stains I accepted the offer. They went above and beyond by including the crinoline and cups that would be sewn into the gown. In addition, they dyed any spots that looked "dirty", re-sewed any beading that may be loose and re-stitched and dyed the corset ribbon that needed some work after many people trying the gown on.
Overall, the gown was an excellent condition for being a sample gown.
The staff at Amanda's Collection were friendly, attentive and truly enjoyed what they do. In fact, we had such a great experience there my mother in law refused to buy a her gown any where other than at Amanda's Collection!
I looked everywhere for a dress for my wedding, Amanda's Collection has a great selection of dresses! The dress I found fit perfect! It was the last one and was discontinued so she...

mely within reason. I really had a difficult time not loving all the dresses!
Amanda's provided excellent service to the guys in our wedding. We rented over 15 suits and they were ready for us. They were professional from the first step to the last. The lad...
ies made all the guys feel welcome. Our wedding was the Saturday after Thanksgiving. They made sure the tuxs arrived on time due to the Holiday. All the guys were sized exact. There were not any problems with getting extra pants, shirts or buttons. Wonderful service. My husband has been in several weddings and he always goes to Amanda. There was no way Amanda was not going to be included in our big day.
From the moment I walked through the door I felt very comfortable at Amanda's Collection. The staff was very friendly and attentive to my needs as a Bride. I LOVE my dress!
Charlene was a huge help at Amanda's collection! I was so grateful for her help from beginning to end. She made the experience a true pleasure and a great time :)
The staff was very helpful and took their time with me. I loved several dresses, but they were just to expensive for me.
It wasnt as welcoming as a bride would think she would have been since I dropped a pretty penny on my dress
I loved my dress!!! It was the first one I tried on and I knew it was the one. I also got my daughters dress there too. The ladies were very helpful and sweet. They also told me ab...

er after speaking to Amanda about it, she met me 1/2 way with the price. They may be a bit pricer that some 'chain' bridal shops, but I think the small town, family atmosphere was worth it.
Sales associates treated me like a queen. They were wonderful
