Amanda Wiig Weddings

d intelligent. She's very experienced and knows her way around a wedding. I had no idea what I was doing and she swooped in to save the day. Her calm and confident demeanor helped soothe my pre-wedding jitters. She's not afraid to give her opinion when she feels like things might not work out the way you planned. For example, I had no idea how important it was to have the first look before the wedding, or the importance of having your bridal gown bustled. I didn't even know what bustle meant! Luckily, she is an outstanding planner and very skilled in her profession. I really appreciated her perspective. When our wedding day arrived I felt confident it was all going to run smoothly. Giving her the reins was the best decision I made for my wedding. If you hire Ms. Amanda Wigg, rest assured your big day will be orchestrated to perfection.

suited to handle any bumps in the road on the actual wedding day. She worked well with all of our vendors, and she already knew most of them. I could go on about her, but the final product spoke for itself: everything went smoothly, and everyone had a fabulous time!

gined. She anticipated and took care of everything so that we could enjoy every minute!!

tc), cake cutting, walking down the aisle, etc. We were starving and people kept coming up to us after pics to talk and she was so kind she got plates of food ready for us and brought them to us knowing we would be hungry and bombarded by people. We wouldn't have kept anything on time without her and she wasn't in our face or anything she stayed totally behind the scenes and did not add any stress!

e process of planning our original wedding and replanning our COVID wedding. She always guided us in the right direction when it came to vendors and made the "day off" seamless. We would definitely recommend Amanda to other couples in and around Memphis!

grace! We knew it would be a little tricky to honor both of our families in the midst of wedding day dynamics, and Amanda helped to field everyone's expectations and demands so that we could be present. Leading up to the celebrations, she helped us think through each aspect of the day and suggested ways to delegate various tasks so that once wedding weekend arrived, we would feel ready to go! We couldn't be more grateful for the energy, joy and efficiency that she brought to this season. We really enjoyed every moment of our wedding and wouldn't have wanted anything to be different!

had a vision of what I wanted for my wedding and she did everything possible to help me enact it. It is invaluable to have Amanda help you think through logistics and take care of details that you just don't need to be worrying about on your wedding day. I am so thankful that someone I trust recommended that I hire a wedding planner, and that someone I trust knew Amanda!

ouldn’t limit the kind of wedding we wanted to have. We told Amanda that the things we wanted out of our wedding was to get married, have a gospel centered ceremony, and our guests to have a great night; all the other details didn’t really matter to us. Amanda took the time to really get to know us and made that dream come true. I was in graduate school and my husband was working two jobs during our engagement, so we don’t have much time for wedding planning. Even with our limited time, Amanda made wedding planning fun and stress free. She did a great job helping us find a local, small business florist and photographer. Both were amazing! She also found a venue that worked best with our budget and vision for our wedding. Amanda was super organized and a great communicator. She took it on herself to contact the othe vendors and make sure we were all on the same page. On our wedding day, I really felt like I could trust Amanda to make sure everything was running smoothly and on time. If any problems came up that day, I didn’t know about it. Throughout the planning process, she handled everything that came her way professionally and with grace. Amanda truly helped make out wedding day one of the best days of our lives.

ur lives. She showed up to our first appointment with quotes, recommendations, pricing, and PRESENTATION. We originally hired her to "consult" if you will, but quickly decided to hire her as a full-on wedding planner. She ended up planning our rehearsal dinner (for 100+ guests) and our wedding. I just can't praise her enough. Here are the things we most appreciated: 1. She is committed to getting the job done, even when her clients are less than helpful or responsive. 2. She learned to anticipate what we would want. 3. On the day of the wedding, she coordinated like a pro. If there was a problem, I didn't know about it. Amanda just handled it. 4. She paid attention to details. 5. She was just plain pleasant to be around. I didn't know her from a hole in the ground when we hired her and now I see her a couple of times a week. When your wedding planner becomes your friend, that's a win. 6. She did small things that were huge in the grand scheme. Example: I wanted a strawberry cake because my grandmother (who is no longer with us) made me a strawberry cake for my birthday every year. We couldn't get a strawberry cake for the reception. Amanda surprised me and my bridesmaids with a strawberry cake while we were getting ready. 7. Another example: I got a wee bit overheated and nauseas at my reception because I ate Gus's fried chicken (yes, that is what we served and it was awesome).... I hadn't been eating for months. Also, I do not recommend this kind of crash dieting before your wedding. Just don't do it. I digress. I got ill and I ran upstairs and demanded that someone get me a fan, take my wedding dress off of me and help me put on my jumper and Dunks ASAP. Amanda came around the corner at the ready. And then my jumper button came loose and she pulled out a sewing kit ... and then steamed it. LOL. Amazing. 8. Amanda is a professional. I can't say that loudly enough. AMANDA IS PROFESSIONAL. I interviewed a handful of wedding planners who sent me contracts with typos, other brides' names, incorrect pricing, etc. Amanda doesn't cut corners like that. She takes pride in her business and her presentation. And I appreciate that immensely. 9. I didn't have to deal with vendors at all, really. We told her what we wanted and she just made it happen. 10. Worth every penny. In fact, it was probably worth more than what we paid. You should raise your rate, Amanda! Ok, I think I'm finished because I'm running out of characters. Point is - if you need a wedding planner in Memphis, THIS IS YOUR GIRL. I promise. -K

ls. Believe me, you can’t go wrong with Amanda.
