Based in Lakeville, CT, Amanda is well-experienced in the wedding industry. Having worked over 150 weddings herself through her family's catering company, she has truly seen what it takes to make a wedding happen! As an artist, she would like to apply her creativity to the events she dearly loves. Her attention to detail will capture the emotions of your day through brushstrokes like no photo can ever embody. This truly is a beautiful gift to enjoy during your wedding and for many years after.
She loves to paint with the lush texture of oils, which separates her from other live painters, as most use acrylic or watercolor. She uses high-quality pigments that don’t dry very fast, but it does mean she can fix anything days later! She embodies an impressionist and surrealist undertone in her creations, using movements of light and scenery and incorporating your wedding color palette into the piece.
Amanda will work with you to choose what “moment” you would like to have painted—ceremony, First Kiss, First Look, Aisle Walk, First Dance, Introduction, or a Posed Moment, etc. Endless options!
Whether you want it just you and your partner, guests added, animals, and past loved ones included. She will create your vision.
Other specialties she can provide on canvas or wood are menu design, bar signage, and a welcome sign!
Amanda Scimeca is a live painter offering entertainment and more for weddings in and around Lakeville, CT.
