Amanda and her team at Amanda MacDonald Photography are the best!! We hired the team to take the photographs for our intimate family backyard wedding at our home and we are so so h...
appy we did. Amanda's team was professional, personable, friendly and felt like an instant friend. Amanda was helpful prior to the wedding, coaching me on important day of timeline considerations based on her experience, and walked through all the variations of family photos we were hoping for. Highly recommend Amanda MacDonald Photography and so grateful to have had her and her team on our wedding day!

re the joy and love of the day. Additionally, she got to us so quickly after our wedding. On top of her amazing photographs that are truly stunning, she is a ray of sunshine and put everyone at ease. This was especially important as we had inclement weather day of. I could not recommend her more!

Amanda and Jason were the best photographers to work with! I found Amanda through Instagram as she had done a wedding at our venue, she was prompt with getting back to us for our i...
nquiry. We immediately felt it was the right fit for our wedding. We first did engagement photos with Amanda. Even though it was our first time meeting her in person, she immediately made us feel comfortable in such an intimate setting. Our engagement photos were so beautiful and we got so many compliments. Some of the photos looked like they were out of a magazine. She has such an artistic eye and her personality allows you to feel comfortable being intimate with your partner. We tend to be more reserved people and she was able to make us feel comfortable and the photos really show our love for each other. Now on to the wedding! Amanda was so great during the preparation process and helped us plan our vision for our wedding day. She kept notes on who or what we wanted photos of and kept us moving throughout the day. We got married on the hottest day in July, and Amanda and Jason made the day move seamlessly and made sure we got all the photos we wanted without us passing out from the heat! We are so thrilled with our wedding photos as you could never tell it was almost a hundred degrees outside. They are so beautiful and romantic and they were able to capture all of our special moments from the day. They both are so professional and it felt like during those special moments they blended in that we didn’t even realize someone was taking our picture. We were so impressed with the quality and the amount of photos from our wedding, that it made it hard to choose our favorites! Amanda was also very prompt in getting our photos to us. I had expected about a month to receive them, when I got an email on our flight home from our honeymoon with our gallery. We were so excited that we probably overloaded the plane’s wifi. We are so happy that we found Amanda and Jason for our wedding and hope to use them again for other life events!
We booked Amanda for our engagement session and wedding and we are so glad we did! She made us feel very comfortable right off the bat, and coached us along to get the best engagem...
ent photos possible. She was very open to all my crazy ideas, and did great with including my dog in the fun as well. I cant wait for the wedding, I'm sure she will be just as amazing!
Amanda MacDonald photography goes above and beyond to make sure that those special moments are captured. I can't say enough about their amazing style, keen eye, flexibility and pas...
sion that they put into every single shoot that they do. My day, like most brides I'm sure, felt like an absolute blur from start to finish. Yet, when we got those photos back-it was like I was living that day....the day of my dreams....all over again. They are professional and caring-and not to mention FUN! They bring the energy to the party, and then capture the joy.
The attention to detail to even the smallest part of the wedding day is what truly sets AMP apart and in a league of their own! The coloring of the photos is so soft and timeless...
. You truly won’t be disappointed by going with Amanda! She’s quirky in the coolest way, has an amazing eye and is truly SO kind! From our engagement shoot to our wedding day and all the little chats in between, I always felt like Amanda “got me” and my vision! Best vendor ever!
We loved having Amanda photograph our engagement pictures and wedding! Doing the engagement pictures with her first was a great choice because it let us ease into getting our pictu...
res taken and get to know her, which was easy with her fun personality. On the day of the wedding, she and Jason were both relaxed and reassuring the whole time. They made us feel really comfortable. Taking pictures can take a long time but they made us and our friends and family laugh throughout the whole process. Most importantly, the photos came out great!! They captured all our favorite moments of the day. We were so happy with our decision picking Amanda and Jason and would 100% recommend them!
We used Amanda MacDonald Photography for our engagement photo shoot, wedding rehearsal, and wedding day photos and could not have been more pleased with the outcome. The quality of...
her photography speaks for itself, but in addition, her professionalism and flexibility make her a joy to work with. It is clear she cares about and loves what she does. In addition to being an exceptional photographer, Amanda is incredibly warm and approachable - it’s like we have known her for years. Being two people who aren't entirely comfortable in front of a camera, she seamlessly put us in the perfect lighting and angles while keeping us laughing and relaxed. I cannot believe how fast we received our photo highlights and the whole gallery. We were given beautiful photos of the best, most important, day of our lives and someone we feel like we can call a friend. We cannot recommend Amanda highly enough.

nderful making sure everyone looked perfect. Being so self-conscious, I was really concerned with how my wedding photos have come out, but Amanda made me feel at ease and in such good hands. We haven't even received our wedding photos yet, but we got a sneak peak and they are the most perfect photos I've ever seen. Amanda has such an eye. We are referring all of our friends to the Amanda MacDonald team!
My husband and I cannot say enough amazing things about Amanda and Jason! They were incredibly flexible, helpful, kind, and thoughtful with everything they did. They braved the col...
d for our engagement shoot in Maine (and even brought us hand warmers!) and were so supportive, warm, and flexible on our rainy and beautiful wedding day. As someone who was very nervous to have their photo taken so frequently, I cannot get over how amazing our photos are. The quality of the photos is outstanding, and they are by far the best team ever. We are so grateful to Amanda and Jason for providing us with these incredible keepsakes from this day. Thank you both!
My husband, John, and I highly recommend Amanda MacDonald Photography. We met two times leading up to getting married, to get to know each other, go over logistics, must-have phot...
os, etc. Everything felt easy with Amanda, it wasn't awkward and John and I were comfortable. There were torrential downpours the day of our wedding (streets flooding, etc.) and Amanda and Jason kept smiles on their faces, and even took photos of John and I after-the-fact so we could capture some outdoor photos. Amanda MacDonald Photography has great value!
Amanda and Jason are an amazing duo. We are so happy and LOVE how our photos came out! Highly recommend Amanda MacDonald Photography!

I cannot say enough about how absolutely amazing Amanda and Jason are. We booked Amanda and Jason as our wedding photographers over a year in advance of our wedding and I'm so glad...
we did! Throughout the entire process of planning our wedding and through phone conversations, our engagement shoot, and via Instagram interactions, Amanda was so nice and helpful to us in planning our big day. My wedding party, family, and guests have all mentioned how relaxed, friendly, professional, and fun Amanda and Jason both were on wedding day. Even when I was worried we were off-schedule, running behind, or we were being too silly during photo times, Amanda reassured me that it was our day and that she was there to capture it! She never made us feel rushed or uncomfortable. She helped to make me feel comfortable and confident in myself and her photos make me feel so beautiful. When I told Amanda that we wanted to take a photo at the restaurant where we had our first date at dinner hour on a Saturday on Cape Cod, she without hesitation agreed and she and Jason accompanied us and got some great photos! They were so great at working together and with all of our other vendors. We had our photos returned to us so quickly, in addition to a sneak peek just hours after the wedding ended. Everyone I know has been raving about how beautiful our photos are and how many great shots they got. It's truly like reliving the day over and over again and we are forever grateful to you both for that! Choosing Amanda MacDonald Photo was one of the best decisions we made for the wedding! I can't recommend Amanda & Jason enough!
We worked with Amanda for our engagement photos. She was incredibly nice and easy to work with. The photos came out great! She even managed to get a few good shots of our hyperac...
tive dog. We're looking forward to working with her again on our wedding day.
Amanda was phenomenal through our whole wedding process. The booking process was incredibly easy with skype interviews to figure out what we were looking for and finalize details, ...
with incredibly responsive emails in between. Our wedding was in VT while Amanda and Jason are based out of Mass, but we were never made to feel like it was a hassle. Their personalities are so easy to mesh with, and Amanda is great at helping camera-shy people feel relaxed and natural.
Now for their work - the photography is unparalleled. I was incredibly picky about photographers during my planning process, not knowing exactly what I was looking for, but knowing I'd recognize it when I saw it. Amanda MacDonald Photography was the perfect fit - the style is airy and romantic, light but still saturated, and the most beautiful, high-quality photography I came across. It fit exactly the tone I was looking for with my wedding photos. If it's not exactly your style, they do have a new company started - Love Wild Photography - that's more daring and "moody" in their editing style, but just as beautiful. You know an artist is incredible when they can tackle such different styles with as much skill as they do.
Overall the process is easy, their personalities are great, and their work is beautiful. I cannot recommend Amanda and Jason of Amanda MacDonald Photography enough! I promise the investment is worth it and you won't ever regret booking them for your wedding.
We loved working with Amanda and her husband, Jason. We just received our photos and we are so happy with the shots that they got on that day. Everything was such a whirlwind that ...
I didn't even know they had taken photos of all of the small details. Thank you for all of your help!!

eautiful. With a large wedding and large wedding party, they moved seamlessly to capture all the moments we requested and helped me feel like the most beautiful bride. My husband Luke, as well as our entire wedding party have all raved about their talent, production and kindness. If I had to do it again, I would choose them as our photographers 10x over! Can't wait for the day we can hire them for family photos!

Amanda also took our engagement photos which came out amazing. It was November and it ended up being one of the coldest days of the year but she toughed it out with us and captured such perfect photos. There were so many good ones, I had to use two for my save the dates!
Amanda is great at always posting sneak peak photos. It is so exciting to be able to get a sneak peak the day after your wedding! It makes you so excited for the rest of the album!
It has been great to work with Amanda + Jason and I would highly recommend them for your wedding photographers!

s to get photographed but Amanda was able to make us laugh and actually enjoy getting our pictures taken. She makes you look natural and not super "posed and cheesy". We LOVED the engagement photos and the wedding sneak peaks! It is great having both Amanda and Jason on the wedding day so they can get pictures of the bridal party and groom/groomsmen getting ready. Cannot wait to see the full wedding album! Would HIGHLY recommend them!!

ime! They managed to work discreetly in such a small church and swiftly moved to the reception venue to quickly capture beach photos so that we could join the festivities! I would 100% refer them to any couple!!

heir individual work was so unique and beautiful, and their overall portfolio created such a perfect story of our wedding day--it was so nice seeing photos of the wedding from different perspectives! They captured our special details so well, and made sure to focus on the personal aspects of our day. They take advantage of natural lighting to capture such light and airy photos, which resulted in a romantic and organic looking album. They were punctual, flexible, and incredibly sweet. We weren't super comfortable getting our photos taken, but they made us feel relaxed and confident. Our wedding album/gallery speaks for itself--it's stunning and we feel so lucky to have their work documenting our best day ever!!
Amanda was great and Jason was cool. I hate "posed" pictures because they are so unnatural, but Amanda made sure to keep everything as natural as possible. The box our album came i...

our engagement session it was like she’d known us forever. Our wedding photos are somehow even better. She and Jason captured our families and friends exactly how they are, in the most perfect (and sometimes amusing) ways. Amanda is always responsive, and works hard to make you feel comfortable and cater to your needs. Thank you so much!!!!!!
We love Amanda and Jason! My fiancé and I are beyond excited to have them photograph our wedding this coming May. Amanda shot our engagement session this spring and drove almost 7...
0 miles from the town where she lives to shoot it without hesitation. Our photos were ready a week after they were taken. Amanda and Jason truly go above and beyond, they took the time to meet with us while we were choosing vendors, answered all our questions and really got to know us. Our engagement photos are perfect and far beyond our expectations - we have no doubt our wedding photos will be the same!
Great experience that made our day even more special and captured every important moment
My husband and I couldn’t have been more thankful for the memories and snapshots that Amanda and her husband captured! They were great, flexible, and professional.

he process was conducted professionally, transparently and with ease. Amanda does a great job coordinating with you in advance of the wedding day to ensure they understand your vision and to plan in advance to capture any special photos that you'd like. The day of the wedding, they were on time, professional, unobtrusive, and just a joy to work with. Amanda and Jason each have a great eye for photography and lighting, and they work as a harmonious team. The photos turned out beautifully - we were so happy. Highly recommend!
It was such a pleasure working with both Amanda and Jason; they truly made our day even more special. Both are very professional, friendly and outstanding photographers. The small ...
details that they included in their work really speaks to the overall dedication that they have to their customers. What drew us to Amanda and Jason is their brand concept, pricing and the fact that we got two photographers to shoot from many angles. We HIGHLY recommend this great couple to anyone looking for a photographer.
We cannot rave enough about AMP! From our first meeting, engagement shoot, prewedding meeting, and our big day they made sure everything went perfectly. They got all of the formal ...
and candid photos we wanted and were so easy to work with. Our family and friends kept asking how we knew them because they were so friendly and blended right in. We would absolutely recommend them and can't wait to get our personalized album and keepsake box!

sited their website. Amanda did our engagement shoot on a rainy day in November 2016 and we managed to sneak in our entire session in a break from the showers! We recently got married in September 2017 and they were so easy-going. Amanda helped calm my nerves as I was getting anxious about time. My husband said at the end of the night that Amanda and Jason are meant for each other, and meant to be doing what they do! They work incredibly well together, and I really loved having their individual and collective eyes to shoot our day. The photos are breathtaking, and I'm so thrilled to have them to look back again and again on our beautiful day!
I can't explain it, other than to say that when I saw their portfolio, you can feel love in every single photograph. We chose not to use a videographer on our day, so it was incredibly important to me to have pictures that told the story of our day. It started raining right when our outdoor ceremony was supposed to happen and I delayed it because we wanted to get married underneath a tree. It cleared up briefly and misted throughout our entire ceremony. Seeing the raindrops on my husband's tux, to me, really highlights our wedding day story. We both really loved working with Amanda and Jason!
I heard about Amanda MacDonald Photography through word of mouth, and am so glad we worked with them! I Right off the bat Amanda was very accessible and accommodating.

vere ugly duckling syndrome, and Amanda made me feel right at ease at our engagement session. Jason and Amanda were a fantastic team at the wedding. They captured everything we asked beautifully, along with wonderful candid moments. Not to mention, they're just really nice people in general, so I felt good about supporting their business! Thank you, Amanda and Jason!
I cannot recommend Amanda to enough people. Amanda and Jason are an absolutely fabulous team. They were so easy to relate to and put everyone at ease. Being able to meet with Amand...
a in advance to discuss who were are, what we were planning for our wedding, and just getting to know her helped so much. She really captured who we were in our engagement shots, and that was just shortly after we met her.
Our wedding portraits came out absolutely stunning. We had gloomy weather and we had to do a portion of the shots in a hall because my grandmother was too sick to travel, and they accommodated us so well. They didn't miss a single moment, but were not in our faces all night. They let us be us and just captured the day for what it was. They are truly amazing and I will absolutely use them in the future for any family portraits we may need. Thank you, Amanda and Jason!

sure that they weren't taking away from our ceremony, but the photos they got were stunning and we never even knew they were there! Amanda was easy to get in touch with, she captured our wedding and engagement vision perfectly, her costs were reasonable, and the personal touches they provided (keepsake box, and beautiful wedding album to name a few) made us feel so special! I would certainly recommend them to a bride and groom looking for a wonderful pair of photographers.
My husband and I can't speak highly enough of Amanda and Jason. From the start Amanda was extremely easy to work with. She is fun, approachable and down to earth but also maintain...
s her professionalism. It's clear that not only does she know what she is doing behind the camera, she also loves doing it! Multiple people in our bridal party commented on how much they loved Amanda and Jason and how fun it was to watch their husband/wife dynamic, and I agree! We were blown away with our engagement photos and even more in awe of our wedding day shots. Once the photos arrived and I shared them with family the compliments continued to roll in.
I can truly say that once we put down the deposit with Amanda, this was one huge aspect of the wedding that I never worried about again. I can't imagine making a better choice for someone to capture one of the biggest days of our lives.!
From our first meeting at a Wedding Expo, to our engagement shoot, through our entire wedding day, Amanda and Jason were incredible. They have such a keen eye for detail and kept u...
s having fun through the entire experience. Amanda has a way of putting you at ease. We were a bit nervous at our engagement shoot because we've never had professional photos taken before, but it turned out to be fun and a perfect way to become more comfortable in front of the camera. Our guests were impressed with how they managed to be everywhere at once, take a ton of photos, and still manage to share a boogie with us on the dance floor. We are so excited to see the final product including our hand-made-by-Jason keepsake box and photo album. We highly recommend Amanda & Jason as they are both down to earth, open to having a little fun, but ultimately very professional.
After you're done reading this review, do yourself a favor and connect with Amanda! I "accidentally" met AMP at a bridal show when I was looking to meet another photographer that w...
as supposed to be there. As soon as I stopped at Amanda's table, I knew that AMP was the photographer for our June 11, 2016 wedding. We booked Amanda, and a few months later, booked our engagement session. My then fiancé is so uncomfortable in front of the camera, but Amanda managed to capture amazing shots of him, and us as a couple! She even let us bring our furbaby dog to the shoot, and we captured memories with him as well! Our engagement pictures were delivered to us fairly quick, and I was SO happy with the results! It made me that much more excited for our wedding! We met Amanda again a week or so before our big day, and discussed last minute and final details. We even made a change literally 2 days before the wedding that she was more than accommodating on. The day of the wedding, Amanda met me at my parents house, and Jason met the boys at the hotel. My fiancé, again, was not wanting a photographer at the hotel because he's camera shy, but a little convincing from his groomsmen, put Jason right in the fun! Amanda and Jason are a quirky couple who I am so happy to say shot our wedding. The memories that they have created for us are incredible. I literally felt like they weren't even there, in the sense that they were not invasive of our space. Which in a way makes me sad because I wanted to boogie on the dance floor with them! That's how awesome they are! They create candid memories that are REAL..... not posed. Our pictures are SO us..just prettier! You will not be disappointed by booking with AMP.
We LOVED working with Amanda and Jason! They are the ultimate professionals -- extremely kind, talented, professional, organized and detail-oriented. Amanda and Jason were such a c...
alming presence on our big day and captured the energy and essence of our entire wedding, as well as the quiet "firsts" and other beautiful moments that made the day so special. Amanda and Jason's photos are stunning, creative and authentic and perfectly captured the day. We will cherish their photos always and enjoy looking at them often.

ked with her we learned she was the perfect match! Amanda made my husband very comfortable in front of the camera, which is not always the case. When we got our engagement pictures back, they were so beautiful it was hard to pick which ones we wanted to use for our save the dates (We ended up picking 4!!! It was too hard to pick 1!). They are pictures we will cherish for many years to come. On the day of the wedding, Amanda and Jason had to deal with quite a large bridal party and family for pictures before the wedding. They did such a great job keeping us organized and making sure we got all the photos we wanted. They allowed us to share what we wanted for photos while also making suggestions as to what they thought would look great. During the ceremony and reception, they blended right in and nobody felt like they were in the way. We appreciated their laid back personalities, which was comforting on our big day. We are so excited to see our wedding pictures!!!
