just any seamstress would be up to the task. From the very first consultation, I knew Amanda was the perfect fit!   I wanted to make some significant changes to both of my dresses. For my ceremony dress, I wanted to add a sleeve instead of just a spaghetti strap. Due the the fabric type and the skinniness of the straps, I wasn't sure this would even be possible. But Amanda was brilliant and found a way to add sleeves that tied the bottom of the dress's vibes into the top and turned it into the most beautiful gown! I felt so gorgeous in it, the sleeves added the perfect touch! For my reception dress, I ended up deciding that I didn't want to bustle the train, I wanted to scrap the train all together. Amanda was able to put in the incredible amount of work to meet my vision and craft the perfect length for the dress. In addition, with the regular fitting adjustments Amanda did I was so comfortable the entire evening! Even with the dress being strapless, I was not pulling it up all night long. I was able to run around the venue for photos and fun and not a worry in the world about my dress being uncomfortable. I felt supported and confident in every step of the fitting process. Included, in the ensemble of fabric I brought to Amanda was a lace jacket. She thought of an idea to sew the lace onto the dress without the sleeves. Then to use the buttons from the lace sleeves to cover the zipper in the back, I loved the whole idea! She shows you the changes she makes at every session to ensure you love the design at every step of the way. Timely communication, flexibility, and a true commitment to customer satisfaction were all part of the exceptional service she provided. She offered suggestions for finding shoes to match with the the dress color, day of hacks to get in and out of the dress (as I needed a tool for my buttons) and other helpful suggestions that I will always be grateful for. The joy and emotion that lit up on my mother’s face when she saw the wedding dress was priceless, turning a beautiful moment into an unforgettable memory.
