I truly don't have enough words for how incredible Aisha and her team at Ama are. I was referred by my planner Amy with the Storybook Event and from the moment we first connected, ...
Aisha brought such a calm, grounded energy that instantly made us feel at ease. She’s incredibly intentional with every shot — not just taking pictures, but capturing the feeling behind each moment.
Throughout the day, she somehow managed to catch the essence of our love, the vibe of our party, and the emotion in every little detail — all without ever making us feel posed, pulled away, or like we were “on camera.” Her team made us feel hyped, comfortable, and so present — like we could fully enjoy our day while knowing everything was being captured beautifully behind the scenes.
And then… the turnaround time? Insane. We got sneak peeks so quickly — and not just a couple of shots, but real, emotional moments we were able to relive within days. That kind of delivery, without compromising quality, speaks volumes about their professionalism.
Looking back at the footage and previews, it’s magic. We see us in every frame, and I wouldn’t want it any other way. Thank you, Aisha, for documenting our day with such heart and artistry. We’re beyond grateful.
AMA Photography and Cinema were fantastic to work with. The photographs and video captured on our special day exceeded my expectations. I truly feel like I am reliving the day when...
I look at their work. Aisha Khan does more than take pictures, she captures moments and feelings and turns them into works of art. As someone who minored in studio art and enjoys taking photographs in my personal time, choosing the right photographer for my wedding was extremely important. I definitely made the right decision with Aisha. She thinks like an artist and will give you more than the typical portrait-style wedding photos. I cannot wait to frame my favorite photos and finalize our wedding album. After viewing our beautiful wedding video, my only regret is that I did not get a longer one. Thank you, Aisha for taking such beautiful photos and for allowing me to relieve my favorite day anytime I like. I hope that our paths will cross in the future.
When I saw some of the pictures Aisha has taken on her website I knew right away that I wanted her to take our engagement pictures. We only had a 2 months left and she fit us in to...
her busy schedule. When we got the pictures we were blown away! She is truly talented and I do plan on using her again in the future.
I never write reviews unless the service went above and beyond and I can truly say Ama by Aisha Photography/Videography is amazing! This review is specifically in reference to Phot...
ography as I have not yet seen my video (although I know it will be fantastic having seen how great the photos turned out)!
Aisha and her team are extremely talented and listen very carefully to the style you envision. I made sure to let Aisha know I wanted glamorous and sexy photos, and I feel I got exactly what I asked for.
My now husband and I recently married on November 1st, 2014 and by November 6th, Aisha already had uploaded many sneak peak photos for me to view! Obviously any bride is dying to see her photos and I loved the sense of urgency Aisha possesses. You can view them here:

I was beyond impressed when I viewed them. Aisha and her team captured so many beautiful moments, with many of the pre-wedding photos being staged, and all of the photos at the ceremony and reception, candid. Aisha instructed my bridesmaids and I how to pose and told us to tell jokes to each other which made it really fun. You can tell how happy we all are, and the photos look completely natural. Aisha and her team had not seen the room we were going to be in, but within 2 minutes of entering, started snapping photos and knew exactly where we should go in order to have the best looks. She did the same with my husband and his groomsmen.
Another point I'd like to make is how much I love how animated my fiance and I look at the ceremony and the reception! This was all due to Ama Photography taking the perfect photo at the perfect time! Now that I think back to the wedding, I don't even remember noticing videos and cameras all around me. They captured each and every moment without seeming they were even there which was awesome as we never felt like we were being photographed.
Aisha's vision is stellar and she absolutely knows what she is doing. The photos above speak for themselves! I would recommend Aisha to any bride wanting the perfect photos for years to come. Everyone will tell you to enjoy every moment because the day flies by, and that could not be more true! Investing in a photographer who will give you beautiful photos for you and your partner to cherish for a lifetime would be my number one recommendation. I am so excited to see the video, and know it will be nothing short of epic.
